yes you can and with accuracy too i have done this but not by astral projection but mental projection and this is a higher vbody and you see things as they are in realtime and not subjecvt to any distortion like etheric or astral projection which just shows you the inner plane copy of the material plane the mental body can also be projected into the astral plane but those in the asdtral plane will not see you because you are using a higher subtle body. remote viewing is similiar to how we experience mental projection and the only difference is that in remote veiwing we are aware of our physical body and it is more of an extension of our psychic vision but in mental projection we are aware we have left our body

not as simple as that a common misconception is that what we believe about the astral world shapes our experience does not apply here as quite a few people have experienced this hence it is a universal experience we just need to understand the different planes and the law that govern them as each plane has different rules ie if you see yourself go straight into the light it means you have by passed the etheric plane and gone straight into the astral plane and remember for those of you who think you have projected into your room that is not the case as when we astral project we go inwards not outwards to physical plane and if we want to project into real time we need to use our mental bodies as that can project into real time and does not require us to have paralysis or vibrational state as we simply exit through our third eye it is a different manner of projection and much higher than astral projection as the mental body can also be projected into the astral p.lane however you will be invisible to the astral inhabitants as you are using a superior subtle body that can operate right from the material plane to the mental plane

There also is the matter of spiritual evolution to consider in how good we are in Obie as if we have consciously done Obie in a past life it is brought back in the next incarnation and since evolution is an upward movement we cannot be less intelligent than how we were in the last incarnation hence we continue were we left off in the last incarnations but for some of us this is the first time we are excising our spiritual muscles

There is far much better things you can do with ap than seeking for a girl as i believe you are not ready for a relationship yet or it will be a codependent relationship not real love after what you have been through i will advise get to know yourself first before going into relationship however on the psychic plane you can have various astral sex etc and aklso work on your addiction so you dont go back to it again and end up going down a downward spiral as this looking for a girlfriend thing is becomming an obsession and you are finding yourself going down low level areas on the etheric plane in search of love when the love you are really seeking for his your inner light

Astral substance is to do with memory as memory is stored in mind not brain the subconscious mind draws from this memory bank of what we know  our experiences oin the mundane woprld and it organises them in dreams but dreaming is not unconscious obe as in the realm of the subcvonscious mind there are different levels of which the dream is one of the first point of call
