Well last night, I had almost the same experiences as the original poster...

I used an amethyst etheral crystal on my third eye chakra to help energize it before I went to bed last night and after closing my eyes-I was treated to an amazing color show with all these swirling dots and other colorful things...

Also, I felt this pressure upon my 3rd eye area that started moving around my entire forehead...it was starting to hurt a little bit...

After I fell asleep, I had 4 really vivid dreams that I recorded as soon as I woke up...

So I guess its not so much about "opening" your third eye(Its already open), but I guess it just depends on how much energy you have stored there...

One other thing, practicing NEW daily has also caused me to have these experiences more frequently...Vivid dreams, seeing the hypnogogic images, seeing energy, etc...

Yeah, I see those sparks all the time...Sometimes they're multi-colored too, but its really strange...They'll just appear out of nowhere near me, and squiggle through the air until they vanish...

I read somewhere that they might actually be apart our souls; a soul spark I believe.

Throughout my life I've had a few different paranormal experiences...

Though once I turned 14 and had a minor OBE- I've actually started looking into the subject seriously...

Although I kind of lost interst in this stuff for about four years...

Now, flash forward four years later- I'm getting back into meditation, energy work, psi-training, OBE's, lucid dreams, etc...

I want to develop myself spiritually now and learn more things...So here I am now, at Astral Pulse!
