i do keep a pen and paper buy, but i cant ever remember anything. Not even one word triggers like u talked about..

Hmm, maybe you're not getting the recommended hours of sleep your brain needs.

Try eating an apple right before bed and if that doesn't work, well, try something else.

Quote from: fthmdgEver since I can remember, I've never been able to remember my dreams in the morning. Also, whenever I try the Dream Recall, i just fall asleep. Any advice?

Make a serious effort to remember.  This means keeping a pen and paper close by so you can jot 1 word triggers that come to mind.

Quote from: runlolaI am just wondering...are you usually woken up
by something like an alarm clock or do you wake
up naturally?

Yeah, waking up to an alarm clock can be distracting.

Suicide is ok for those searching for power beyond this prison.  Just as you ignorant people search for your illusionary love I seek power beyond human understanding.

I'm no doctor, but it sounds like you're in desperate need of attention.

I sort of think this is not your decision...YOU are just a small
part of the REAL YOU who makes these decisions...who
you think you are is just your EGO...when you die, all of this
will become apparent...your REAL SELF is much more intelligent,
so stop worrying so much & try to enjoy the little time you have here
to be ALIVE

I might be a newbie, but I know a great post when I see one.  Well done.

Quote from: StookieI don't think that it's immortality that you don't like, but your own concept of immortality. It's not your identity you should want to discard, but your concepts of your identity.

Well stated, Stookie.  I got the same impression from reading his posts as well.

Yes.
But you probably don't remember having lived before do you?

We've all lived many many lifetimes.
The soul cannot be destroyed. Basic physics - you can't destroy energy. The soul is exactly that - energy. Most of us don't remember the last life we lived, so we either seek to find out about it, don't care about it, or (depending on our belief systems) point blank refuse to consider we even had a past life.

When I read threads like this one the first thought I have is people who see no point to living this life are running away from thier own soul - their REAL SELF.

Consider two polar opposites:
1) Fear ------- Love
2) Ego  ------- Soul

Our souls are light - energy - love. Through fear, the Ego (physical body consciousness) tries to keep us away from the light. That's why we see such depths of despair and depression in people who are hugely egotistical or narcissistic. For them there probably isn't much point to living because they're running so far away from their own soul's choice for what they should be, what they should do or what they came to experience or heal in this life.

Now that I'm working full time in an institute for spiritual studies I've met a number of people who've found out what their soul's choice or direction for this lifetime is. In each case it has literally saved their lives.

Blessings,
James.

Wow, that was deep James.

Thanks for sharing.

Greetings people.

Well, where to start?  Okay, so my name's Kevin and I'm a 22 year old Canadian with a positive outlook on life.  My teenage years were kinda hard, as is the case with most adolescents, but life's been great since I've changed my belief system.   Now, I'm fascinated with the paranormal.  I started listening to Coast to Coast am several years back, and it's refreshing to say the least.

Anyway, a big hello to the members here and may god bless you all.
