Hi All and thanks lots for your replies!  I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who feels this phenomenon.  

This happened to me many times when i was a child - often during a sickness like a flu or a common cold.
It's sound and mass was always very quickly getting louder and expanding to the point of being unbearable and feeling that if don't do something to stop it something really bad would happen.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one.  

Yes exactly!  You are spot on!  I experienced this a lot when I was ill, especially as a child.  Back then I had a lot of flying dreams, and dreams of falling back into my body were a normal occurrence.

This almost exactly what i got last night, with the exception of noises out side of the roaring and feeling gigantic, also did you notice if you had sleep paralysis or not because i never.  The flung about feeling to me feels like there is two of me (one very close to me almost like a inch to the left and my energy keeps jumping back and forth).
Also you sound like me - not having the confidence to explore further even though you want to??? If you find the courage please let me know

That's correct about feeling like theres two of you close together with the energy jumping in between.  No I don't get sleep paralysis at all; when I experience these exit sensations I am still able to move because when I got overwhelmed by the experience I ended up getting out of bed so I could stop the roaring noise.  I do have confidence in achieving astral projection, but a week ago I just moved into an old house by myself which feels haunted and it worries me as to what I'd see there when I astral project...it's lame I know; but once I get used to the house I'll be fine! :redface:  

My desire to astral project is so very strong and it is showing.  I am starting to remember my dreams and they are starting to become lucid.  My body is so used to me meditating and trancing before sleep that when I go to bed, I automatically go into a deep trance without thinking about it.  This is where I've started to get those dreams of falling back into my body, which are happening almost every night.

I can honestly say that practising AP has been a blessing to my sleeping pattern!  I used to sleep so bad like 3-4 hours and now I sleep 9 hours a night thanks to the meditation and trance.

I have been trying to Astral project for quite awhile now and although I haven't consciously projected, I know that I am so very close.  I am reaching a stage/feeling which I remember I used to experience as a child.  I remember consciously allowing myself to feel this strange phenomena I will now describe.  

I have reached a stage in the past two weeks where I start hearing a massive roaring noise and it's so very loud and I feel absolutely gigantic and it feels like I'm being flung back and forward really fast.  I have been experiencing this the past few nights and it kind of scares me out of it because it feels so overwhelming.  The roar is so loud but not deafening, and I have heard voices in the roar.  The other night I had to stay awake for ages because it wouldn't go away, even when I got up and walked around!  I have also started hearing totally strange noises in this as well like bangs, voices and giggles.  Could these be from the Astral perhaps?

So, what I'd really like to know is; is this roaring, feeling gigantic and being flung about a form of vibration that occurs before/during astral projection?  I'd very much like some sort of confirmation so I can allow myself to go deeper in these feelings, I may just be one step away from projecting.

One last thing, I had over four dreams last night where I woke with a jump.  The one I remember clearest is in the dream where I just noticed I was an astral body doing the rope technique and I looked down at my physical body and was instantaneously 'sucked' back into my body and that's where I woke up with a jump.  This is the best short dream I have had, it was awesome!  Considering I have never bothered trying the rope technique...I may just now, it could have been a sign!

Kyo Kusanagi, I took a look at the link you gave to that afterlife forum.  Very interesting thanks for posting that.

Another question to all: Do you think that Ouija is all supernatural, or ideomotor effect'(psychological) or a bit of both?  I was reading of an experiment where a group of people created a fictional dead person and in their Ouija experiment, they got a group of people together who actually channeled the fictional character and spoke to 'him' on the Ouija board.

I was under the impression that if you asked an entity if they were "of the light" they were not able to lie. They could refrain from answering but could not say they were of the light when they were not. Anyone have any information to shed some light on this?

When I used the board alone, I would request only 'light' beings come to talk; but these ones would still proceed to drain all my energy which makes me think they might have not been of the light at all.  Most of the spirits are very deceitful and they lie about everything.  This may be because most of the spirits you talk to via the board are on the lower levels on the astral perhaps.

So many bad experiences happened when I used the board with my friends however.  I was friends with the goths and some had very negative attitudes; so I believe their energy would have influenced the entities that we contacted.  One of them said something bad to a spirit and he got pushed back real hard off the chair and he lifted up his shirt and had a big bruise of a hand print on his chest!  

One of them admitted to me that he wanted to summon evil entities, which is why the Jinn came through, he is the only one who I could contact on the board from then on.  The Jinn threatened to kill me numerous times so I stopped using these boards about 4 years ago now.

It may sound strange but I am actually thankful that the Jinn (demon) threatened me because after this I now live my life as a Light-worker and refuse to succumb to negativity.  My Ouija experiences have changed me so much as a person that I am absolutely amazed and feel so awesome.
So although my experiences were plenty negative at the time, in the end it ended up being something positive!

Thanks a bunch for your welcomes!

Already I have found this site absolutely fascinating, especially the Astral Experiences section.  Reading a lot about others experiences has made me realise that I am so so very close; I reach the vibrational stage where my eyes and body twitch like mad and my heart races and I feel like I am starting to lift.  But I havent gotten any further than that as I probably have a bit of fear which stops me.  But I'll keep going and I'll be sure to post my story when i do!

I've been doing a lot of reading online about Ouija over the past few months and I've read nearly all the stories of people experiences.  What really surprises me it that over 90% of people experiences are negative...most are so scared off by a bad encounter that they'll never touch another talking board again!

Which make me wonder...just what is it about Ouija that causes so much negativity.

Some state it is purely psychological, and I agree somewhat.  But I have had many paranormal experiences that I know I didn't create with my mind.  I found that mentally I could control and predict what was going to be spelled out on the board and I could ask questions in my mind and they'd be answered on the board and this was with a group of 5 people so I couldn't have controlled the movement of the glass physically.  I was the only one who could do things mentally like this so it's a bit strange.  

Yet when I used to use Ouija alone it would just drain my energy so bad I'd almost collapse from exhaustion.  I stopped using the board a few years ago after I had absolutely no psychic or physical energy left and there was an attempted possession by a 'Jinn' that had deceived me into thinking he was good, my spirit guide.  It took about 3 months to feel human again after I stopped, I felt dead.  I was healed spiritually after a concerned Muslim friend taught me how to recite the first verse of the Qu'ran in Arabic, and I kept doing this until I felt awesome.  I did not convert though as I don't agree with religion.  

I'd like to hear other people opinions about these talking boards and if they think it is psychological or paranormal or a bit of both.  If you'd share your experiences here that's be awesome too!

Hello Astral Pulsers!

My name is Anton and I'm a 25yo guy from Geelong, Australia.  I have been interested in Astral Projection and everything metaphysical for many years now and have recently become somewhat obsessed with AP!  I am getting so close to experiencing it now due to my practice in meditation and self hypnosis.  

My reason for joining this forum is to hear about and share experiences and techniques for AP and everything else!
