Thanks for sharing your experiencing, its really fascinating to read. I agree, you should face your fears as it will probably come up agin in the future. Also You have so many OBEs in such a short time frame. 3-4 in a week, I consider that an achievment in itself, i'll be lucky to get 1 every 2 weeks.

Please continue to share your experiences with us, i look forward to reading them.

OK, lately I've been waking up in about 20 - 30 mins before my alarm goes off so i try to do an OBE.
This morning around 5:20am i went back to bed and concentrated on the vibes that came through. Knowing that I've had numerous attempts to exit my body, i willed myself to get up. Kept telling myself...get up, GET UP!!! All of a sudden i was sitting on my bed while the vibes were still going.  But this is where it gets a little hazy, a part of me was telling myself, this isn't real......I was looking around my room, my bed sheets, walls. It looked so real that i thought i had woke up already. So i decided to walk outside my door, all this time telling myself "damn i woke up again". BTW all this time i could still feel the vibes in my body..is this normal????

Then my alarm went off and i physically woke up this time. Then i spent a good 10 - 15mins trying to figure out wat the hell just happened.  Did i just dream an OBE or did it really happen. Trying to remember the experience now is a bit hazy as well. At the time i felt like i had perfect vision, but when i try to remember specific things, its all blurry and hazy.

Well thanks for listening and hopefully someone could shed some light whether that was a real OBE or not.

WoW ... thats sounds like a pretty cool experience. At least you were able to get out of your body, i still have trouble with that part. I think most of the times now i know when i can get the vibes. If i wake up in the middle of the night and try an obe, i get vibes gut no exit.
What you described about the phone dialing was like mine and you are right about making the reference to Neo. It did feel a bit like that

With the breathing pillow part maybe you were dreaming that you were sleeping on sum1...who knows....
But great work on the second OBE, its always interesting to read other peoples OBE and read about the symbols they see during their experiences.

Thanks for the very insightful reply. Most of the times i get the vibes from starting to relax and after 15 - 20 minutes of relaxation. I think i did the second version of the alarm clock technique where i kept waking up and my astral body was maybe loose, but  by accident. This would explain why i felt the vibes straight away.

But do you think the letters mean anything because they look like random letters to me?

The more i think about, the more harder it is whether i did wake at 5:28am or if i dreamt that???? Cos as soon as i looked at my alarm clock, the letters appeared and resonated. But all i know is i woke up at 5:30am.

Again thanks for the reply Vvid1012

Hi All,

I thought i'd share with you a weird AP attempt
I had another attempt this morning to consciously exit my body. I woke up at 5:28 am, looking at my alarm clock thinking to myself ("I need to get up soon, I think I'll try to project"). Then I realized on top of my alarm clock a monitor screen with the letters "fghi hihihihhihihihihhihi". When i started reading the "hihihihhihihihihhihi" the letters started to resonate and ring in my head. The letters glowed and grew bigger. A sudden rush of vibrations started, the most intense I've had. During this time, i could hear telephone buttons being dialed. It felt like this lasted for a good 30 seconds then dissipated into smaller vibrations.... like aftershocks. Then I awoke, at 5:30am.

has anyone experienced this before? Is this similar to the alarm clock technique?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm no expert as well and I've sometimes had very vivid dreams which could be astral. But then again i don't know cos i wasn't aware i was dreaming. It gets really complicated i think.
On another note:
I've been trying to consciously exit my body for over a month now and I've only come close twice.
Vibrations, sinking feelings and limb raising I've experienced but never the real FULL exit. But in the last month I've gotten nowhere. Everytime i try its just eyes close then wake up. I don't remember a thing in between. Is anyone experiencing that?

Hi all,

How does one know whether they are dreaming or they are astral projecting?
Does it have to be a conscience exit from the body or becoming consciously aware that you are dreaming?

That was a good description.
Good read too.

At the start where you said "sinking into oneself feeling". I can get to this stage. From here how did you intiate the vibrations?
I have had the vibrations before but never consciously induced them before. It was always my mind waking up during the vibrations.
I know there are several ways to induce AP but from the steps that you took is this order correct?

sleep paralysis
vibrations
increase vibrations
then start separation ?

Wow those are really interesting reads. Thanks for sharing your experiences. All the feelings and sensations that you have shared are the same ones that i have felt and also my friend. It is a frightening experience at first!!!!

Although I am relatively new at this I can partly induce the body asleep, mind awake part but still unable to separate from my physical body.

I had another experience Saturday morning (I live in Melbourne, Australia). I woke up in the morning and decided to attempt AP. I closed my eyes and repeated the words Body asleep, Mind Awake as suggested from another post which I read here. Soon I felt my conscious mind fall deep within and experienced complete paralysis of my body. I consciously made an effort to open my eyes but could not.

But reaching this state had no vibrations. I then attempted separation, deciding to choose my head first.
Then woke up..... which was a shame.......

Oh well I will keep trying until i get it.

Hi All,

I have been telling a friend about my experiences and he always joked with me about the idea. He woke up earlier than expected this morning and tried it. He said soon his ears popped and had really strong vibrations go through his body. He got scared so he stopped.

Just a question, Does anyone remember their first separation?
Did everyone get the vibrations at the start accompanied by ear poppings?

Wow that was intense. Using your energy in a dream, that would of been cool to see.

Almost like something ripped from an anime.

Hello  All,

I am quite new to this and only started trying to project in the last week.
So far I have only managed two accounts of NEAR AP.

First was last Friday where I felt the vibrations. It started in my chest and flowed through my body. It felt like I was being lifted. It was thrilling and was scary at the same time as this was a new experience. It suddenly stopped and I awoke almost immediately but a bit disorientated.

The second was last night where I calmed each part of my body. Then came a different sensation. First it felt like my ears popped, then instead of a vibration, jolts of electricity. I soon felt my limbs being lifted up. But they would stop at a point as if I were stuck. While this was happening I could hear drum beats in the background which were very hard to ignore. So I tried the roll over technique hoping to get my first AP experience, instead I fell off my bed and hit my head first on the floor.

But I will try again tonight and not use the roll over technique.

p.s i'm glad u guys have spell check

Cheerio
