I used this a few times and it always gives exellent results, i done it once when in a hypnopomic state and i was even more intense, i almost got out on the two trys i had when i woke this morning, but i regained conciousness to quick and i was jerked back into my body on each try. So far this is the best tecnique i have used and i have gotten even closer to aping thanks to this method.

I had a simillar experience, when i was in a trance a couple of days ago. after half an hour of meditating i heared a voice say something, but it was jumbled up so i couldnt understand it and later forgot what it was trying to say-spirit guide, or was i tuning into the astral plane?
A little while afterwards i looked up through my eyelids and for a split second saw a cloaked figure with a wierd pale like face staring at me at the foot of my bed. It could have been a manifestation of my fear, or it was a hallutionation.
It still wasnt as scary as having the electric go out just afterwards though.

Last night when meditating and in a deep trance, i decided to ask my spirit guide to aid me and after a while heard someone say something. It was all jumbled and i couldnt understand it and eventually forgot what it was. when i came out of the trance, i was looking through my eyelids and for a split second saw this hooded figure standing at
the foot of my bed. It looked a lot like 'the old hag.' 

I'm my names mickeall and iv'e been interested in obe's for a few years now. Iv'e had a number of experiences related to obe's and other psychic phenomenon. My brother used to project conciously when he was younger and thats were i got most of my interests from. Anyway its nice to meet you all.
