I found out I meet with the surgeon on the 11th of March and soon after he meets with me they will be setting up a day for the surgery. I am having a hernia repaired and a panniculectomy. The hernia has caused a couple of abscesses the past months and i have had to have two different wounds heal from the inside out. The second one is almost done healing. The panniculectomy is to prevent panniculitis from returning because I have had two outbreaks of panniculitis and one f the outbreaks kept me in the hospital for 4 weeks from September to October and the relapse kept me in the hospital for two weeks in December. Both surgeries are being done at once by two surgeons. So I would appreciate healing prayers at this time in my life.

Here is something that I drew.

I would have to say one of my most significant out of body experiences happened in the year 2000. My ex husband and I were remodeling our house. We were staying in an apartment in a neighboring town. He dropped me off at the house so I could work in my garden. He went back to the apartment to watch the children. I did not have a phone with me and we had agreed that he would pick me up at a certain time around sunset. I became overwhelmingly exhausted. I had wished I could go to the apartment and sleep in my bed. So I sat shaded by the hollyhocks and cosmos and meditated. I visualized myself sitting in my bed and felt myself leave my body. I went there in my astral body and sat in my bed. My ex husband saw my astral body in the bed and he thought he was seeing a ghost. He was sure something had happened to me. He drove to the house thinking I had died. When he saw me sitting in the cosmos and hollyhocks he said, "I thought you were dead! I could have sworn I saw your ghost in the bed." I told him that I had been meditating and wishing myself home to the point I astral projected. He was very spooked and very relieved that I was okay.

Weatherwax is a character in Terry Pratchett Disc World series. He is my favorite author. If I need to feel happy all I have to do is read one of his books and he will get me laughing.

Oops theorem not theory. Sorry I am living on lack of sleep today. I still have several of my math books from my college text books. I will look through them and try to refresh my mind. I have yet to take Trigonometry but I have taken college algebra. I have been a non traditional student the past few years but had to take medical leave because I could not focus on my studies while I am healing.

The police do some times consult with psychics but they do not advertise the fact they do it. My ex husband's dad was a police captain. This is why I know they use psychics sometimes.

I usually wake up between 3 and 4 but not to smoke. For some reason I just wake up at that time. I have had inspiring dreams when I wake up like a song, poem, or drawing i have to put down on paper before I forget. One poem I wrote waking up during those hours won first prize in a poetry contest last year. The words were being chanted in a dream and I wrote it down when I woke up.

So that time of day has always felt mystical to me. In fact my recent encounter with a ghost happened around 4 am.

I had a deaf roommate many years ago. He was a man and I learned the basics of sign language while living with him. That was over 26 years ago and I had not thought of him at all until I saw her and recognized what she was doing was sign language. Then I looked it up online and I found out what it meant. I am just wondering if she was trying to tell me not to worry that she was there to heal me. I have an open wound healing from the inside out. It is healing faster than most. On Christmas eve it was 3 inches deep and 6 inches long. Today it is almost completely healed. It is quite possible healing beings are helping me along with my healing process.

I watched an interesting show the other night called "Dark Matters". In it, they dramatize some true events that are bizarre but are none the less considered true. The show depicted the story of George Price, whom at the time was an Atheist. He was an amateur mathematician who worked out a theorem that proves that altruism is an evolutionary trait that helps insure that one's genes are passed on and is therefor selfish by design.

I understand the concept but not the theorem. To be considered a theorem, it must always be true in all examples given. Even in hypothetical examples.

If anybody can explain this to me in layman's terms, I would be grateful. I have a healthy understanding of algebra and geometry but this is beyond me.

I will have to look at the equation more when I am not physically ill. I am usually good at math. The thing is about math theories is they are just theories. Our genetic codes are passed down our family line. My Grandmas both had adult onset type 2 diabetes. My Uncle does not have it. My mother and I have developed it. Our strength, sight, hearing, health, and maybe even our intelligence is passed through the genetic code of our family tree. Our bodies do not always choose the best from our genetic codes. Two deaf parents can have a child who hears. Still many of us behave as opposites of our parents.  I am nothing like my mother. My daughter is nothing like me personality wise and I am happy with our differences. Not all family members have the same beliefs or lifestyles. Here are some Stanford notes on the "Price Equation".

As for being kind to another person, animal, living being, in life is possibly a selfish act that depends on the situation. The person being kind does not always benefit. There are situations where the act off kindness can be harmful for the individual being kind but they sacrifice for another person. For example say you see a child run in the street after a ball. You get hit by the car instead of the child you saved. I would not say you benefited from that act of kindness but you did it because it is a natural instinct to rescue the child. I have been in this world for 50 years. I have not always been in situations where a kind act I did was benefiting me. Especially with being around children. A neighbor was beating her children almost to death. I stepped in and saved them. They were put in a foster home and they are safe. The woman egged my house, stole from me and threatened me. Did I benefit from saving her children. Her children have thanked me since they grew up. They benefited by what I did. They lived the rest of their childhoods free from abuse.

I have been reading tarot since I was 8-years old. My mother gave me my first deck. I am almost 50 now. I have never paid attention to what other books or people say I should or should not do when reading the cards. I go with what my instincts tell me. I do readings for free. I sometimes read right out of the book from my Brian Froud oracle deck if I think the information can add to what I tell the individual whom I am reading for. I predict every thing I see in the cards good or bad. I have predicted a death once and the woman comes back to me for readings quite often because she says every reading comes true. She often brings people with her for me to do readings for. All of my clients come via word of mouth. I do not do readings online or by phone. I own many decks that are not traditional sets. Every deck I use was a gift from friend or family except my Brian Froud oracle deck. When I was a teenager I did readings for my peers and teaches for practice. They were always stunned afterwards because many of them started out a skeptics.

I have a Tibetan singing bowl and a crystal ball that I scry with to increase my psychic abilities with. So it is good to use tools but sometimes you have to listen to your inner voice not go by what others tell you.

Our skin is acidic to stones and if you wear the stone against your skin daily that could cause changes to it. Also do you bath with it on? Amethyst is also used in detoxifying the body when an individual is trying to or dealing with substance abuse problems. I once made a Amethyst necklace for a woman who was trying to quit drinking.

It was not SP. My whole body jolts when I get sleep paralysis and I was able to reach for the light. I heard someone in my room and I am a light sleeper. The dream I woke up from was about something else and I remembered what I had been dreaming. I usually remember several of my dreams because I write them down in the morning. Often the boys wake me up which is why I thought it was one of them. I woke up wide awake. I wake up many times a night. I have sleep apnea and when it is time to turn over I have to adjust the mask on my cpap machine. The weird thing about my phone showing it had a message is it only shows that if there is a message. There were no missed calls that day. In fact there were no calls at all that day. I seldom use the phone. I have had many experiences with ghosts in my life. Most I feel and do not see. I have seen 3 other ghosts before and I have two photos of ghosts that turned up in different photos that people took of me. This one was different because she was solid looking. I sensed she had a message and that is why she tried to use sign language. I am not clairaudient. She was not just a fleeting image. I did not know that the 10 mg I took of the Nortriptylin caused hallucinations until I looked it up, after this happened. The other drug was over the counter Ibuprofen.

I had my first out of body experience when I was 13 years old. At least from what I remember. I am an artist, non traditional student, and a mother. I will probably post here while I am home bound with health issues but once all my surgeries are done and I heal I will be back in school in the fall and very busy.

The only time I astral project is at night or early morning around dawn. It is when my household is quiet. Plus I am least apt to get interrupted by a household member.

Saturday my phone said it had a voice-mail but when I called my voice-mail there was no message. Then tonight I was in very severe migraine pain. None of the painkillers were working. I woke up to the sound of someone in my room. At first I thought it was either my 18-year-old son or my non official foster son who moved in on us at age 18. I looked up and a person was standing between my night table and dresser. I thought a real person had broken into my home. It looked like a girl with short curly blond hair but the room was dark. So I asked, "Who are you!" I was trying not to panic as I reached for the lamp next to me. She just stood there silently and did sign language that looked like the sign for health/healing. As I turned on the reading lamp she faded. What shook me up the most is I thought it was an actual person. I guess it was a ghost, astral being or some sort of astral presence. I wonder if the voice-mail message earlier was a sign I would receive a message. This is the 4th time I have seen a full form manifestation in my life. She was the most solid manifestation. The being could have been a fair-haired mail but it seemed feminine. I think she was a healing entity because I have been very ill this past 6 months. I have had 3 surgeries and a 4rth surgery coming up soon. A non related problem on top of the surgery is I have been having intense migraines almost every night the past month. They started about the same time I found out I was diabetic a year ago. The migraine was gone while she was there. It came back later. A neurologist gave me a medication for the migraines that can cause hallucinations as a side effect so it is possible I hallucinateb but why would I hallucinate someone doing sign language?
