Hi all!  Just thought I'd introduce myself briefly (or, as the case may be, at great length... I guess we'll find out once I actually write my introduction).

I am 16 years old, and in my last year of High School.  I'm something of a loner, although I don't mind being near people - I just don't talk much.  I also tend towards many kinds of geekery.  Recently I've had a surge in my creativity, so I've been writing and, eh, arting quite a lot (you can check out some of my stuff at http://skatche.deviantart.com, plug plug).  I can program well in three different languages, and rudimentarily in several others.  I read - both online and offline - avidly.

I've been taking martial arts for the past eleven years, and I just got my junior black belt this summer - that, actually, is what got me interested in ch'i energy and eventually in other spiritual topics.  As I stand now I can perform telekinesis and have had one successful and one almost-successful astral projection (I got stuck at the head during the latter), but my specialty is energy manipulation.  I have recently found a way to use it, with incredible results, for "quick and dirty" telekinesis, and I have begun to perform other experiments with it.

I found this place through the Astral Society forums (http://www.astralsociety.org), which by all indications is destined to become an actual physical academy someday.  We'll see about that, but I'm quite excited about the prospect of teaching martial, spiritual and psychic arts to large groups of people.  And if the prophecies for 2012 come true, there are a lot of people who are going to need to be confused, lost and terrified, and they will need the help of people like us.

So, um, hi.  XD

Zen monks will tell you that the past and the future are really the same thing.  So it's quite possible.

If you're having a lucid dream, you're already "out".  The thing is you're very high up on the astral planes, so everything is very down-the-rabbit-holish.  You need to will yourself onto lower astral planes (or higher, depending on where you're going), a task which I've discovered to be rather difficult.

The information seems good and accurate.  The only thing I don't like about that site is the negativity.  It has a very harsh aura around it.

I've heard that in this Day of Brahma (which lasts something like 10 billion years, of which we have about 3 billion left), God is trying to find a deeper understanding of the nature of negativity.  Don't know if that's true, but we'll see in a few billion years, eh?

Anyway, don't let it bother you.  As other people have said, there's still a lot of love and happiness in the world.

You most certainly can use them on inanimate objects!  If you've been practicing telekinesis you probably have one of those little paper pinwheels lying around.  Set it up, cup your hands around it, and make a ki ball.  When it gets to a certain density (don't worry, not too high) it will start to spin.  If you are right-handed it will probably spin clockwise, and if you're a lefty it will probably spin counterclockwise (I think you can reverse the spin, although I am still working on this).

As for distance, you can indeed send them places, although this takes some practice.  And yes, they can return with information for a kind of crude remote viewing; you just need to program them to do so.
