Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / $1,000,000.00

I'm sure this has to have been brought up before, but since I'm new here, I'll have to be the one to ask again!
My friend told me about a test that awards $1 million to anybody able to demonstrate paranormal abilities. The man behind the test is James Randi, and I was just reading some articles about him on the internet. It seems like he can be pretty pompous in certainty that these abilities are people's imagination running wild.
I do not believe I have ever projected, but in the short time I have been open to Astral projetion, too many new and intense things have happened to me for me not to believe it all. So here I am, punching my computer monitor, wondering why Robert Bruce or one of the frequent projectors on this forum aren't in Florida right now, shutting this James Randi guy up! It seems like an easy million to any charity!
I know there has to be some catch, or some degree of bias in this test, but if anyone doesn't already know the details, you can see them where I did at: http://www.randi.org/research/index.html
Anybody know anything I don't about this test?!

Welcome to Dreams! / Throwing Ice at Customers
October 12, 2002, 12:07:59
Hello, everyone...
I just now woke up after having a short lucid dream. I induced it by using the 'sleep for 6, wake up for 1, take a nap' routine, combined with that idea of staring up at the brow chakra. Something happened that I never experienced before, it seems that parts of my lucid dream adapted themselves into my bedroom.
As soon as I began to dream, I popped up in my work (pizza shop) behind the counter. I looked at my coworkers and immediatley said,"I know I'M dreaming.... and you guys are here, but I don't know if YOU'RE dreaming too, or if I'm making you up. But here's the deal, we should mess everything  up." And I started taking handfulls of ice out of the bain and winging them at the customers. It became harder and harder to move my arms to throw the ice, until I awoke in my bed.
I was like "Man, I can'tbelieve I woke up", and threw my hand down in upset. My hand splashed into ice. My bed was made of ice. It really confused the hell out of me. I was thinking "this is totally impossible!" I started to dip my hand as far as it woud go. I was on top of almost a foot of ice cubes. It was freezing. It all kept splashing up onto my stomach and it was making me very cold. I threw a couple handfulls of ice at my wall, felt them splash off, and eventually, I fell back asleep into a differnt lucid dream. It REALLY didn't feel like I was dreaming in my room about the ice, though! Any input?

Hello everyone,
I'd like to give a little background on myself, as this is my first post and it seems like everyone knows each other on this forum. I'm 21 years old, Philadelphia, PA, musician, and I don't know nearly as much about astral projection as the people on this forum. It seems fascinating, and I have read "Astral Dynamics" up until the point where you begin the practicing of the NEW technique, but my life sort of got distracted and I've never given a whole-hearted attempt.
After what I experienced this morning, I knew I needed to register and ask if anybody knows what's up. I haven't been trained in any regemented meditation techniques, but have sort of developed a personal meditation I have been lightly using for over a year now.
While meditating, or almost on demand, I can make a subtle feeling occur in my body. I've always associated it with raising energy, but I don't think it could be the same thing. It seems to eminate from the middle of my body, not up through my legs or through my fingers. It is a flushing, pulsing, heavy, quickly vibrating feeling. It is actually EXTREMELY difficult to describe, and that's about the best I can do. This feeling happens subtley when I concentrate to make it happen, slightly stronger when I feel "deep" into a meditation (which don't get DEEP deep), but almost unbarable during waking paralysis, which has only occured about 4-5 times, all fairly recently.
Until this morning, the heaviest I ever felt this sensation was in a dream (not while lucid). It felt extremely transcending, and I woke up extremely suprised, recalling the feeling exactly. Whenever this feeling gets to a huge peak, I always fear that it is the feeling of my dying, and try to stop it.
THIS MORNING....
I woke up after sleeping for eight hours, and tried to recall my dreams. I couldn't remember any of them at all. I thought that I would try to stay awake for a short time, and then nap, hoping to attain lucidity. I noticed the sensation in my gut, a tingling in my genitals (not the usual 21-year-old in the morning kind). I figured I might as well try and meditate. The feeling consumed me immediatley. It is so hard to explain it. It felt like I wasn't in my bed, but swimming deep through my mind, or everything that wasn't my mind, or both. I felt like I was not in my body anymore, but knew I was and certainly I was not projecting out. I noticed a light coming through the open part of my window. It was extremely bright, brighter than I had ever recalled. It got brighter and brighter, eventually it was blinding. I have never recalled seeing anything so bright in my life. I thought I was surely going to go blind. The feeling went on for what seemed like an eternity, until it was so intense, I once again thought I was dying. I opened my eyes and grabbed my chest to see if I was having a heart attack. Normal pulse. Only I now noticed my window was covered and not letting the light that I saw in. In fact, my eyes were closed the whole time I was seeing it.
I tried to move, but the vibrations had me pinned to my bed and I felt like I weighed 900 pounds. I broke this the same way I would waking paralysis, by wiggling my toe first. I laid in a stupor for a few minutes, in which I recalled a dream fragment it felt like I just had. So I thought perhaps I had originally fallen back asleep for a short time, dreaming for a moment and then being thrown directly into paraylsis. Although it seems possible, it didn't look like nearly enough time had passed for that to happen. I got up, went to the bathroom, and when I came back I could not duplicate the feeling at all.
I don't know if this sort of thing is explained later in AD, but if anybody has any idea what the hell this is, I'd love to hear about it. It's a really enjoyable thing until I think that I'm going to die. I need to stress that it is not the "evil presence" feeling, but just a feeling that is "too intense" for me not to be dying.  Does anyone have an explanation for the poorly-described sensation I get in my body?
Thank you vey much, and I hope that I gain enough experiences to be a regular poster on this forum!

Well, as a new member, I am learning new things about this website every day! Today I just learned about the "SEARCH" feature on the forum.
Looks like I was right, this has been brought up before, in "Proof Of OBE - and/or - How to Win 1 Milion $", and there has been close to a hundred replies.
Now, I guess I'll simply find the answers before I ask the questions!  I guess I just want so badly to be out of th "Starting Member" category.
Love, Hugh

Fredhedd has aleady projected. Read those posts as if they are jokes, then what do you think? I think it's real funny. I don't know if this is the right forum for comedy, but I will always accept perfectly dlivered humor of that caliber!
