During these "dreams" I never see my body though. Does it matter?

1)Howdy guys. Hope you can help explain what happened to me. About 6 months ago I woke up at maybe 10 in the morning. So I drag myself out of bed and go downstairs. It wasn't until I was half way down that I noticed something that I have no idea why it didn't click when I woke up. As my body was walking down the stairs, I was looking down at it.     

And then, just like that, once I relaized I was out of my body, I returned to it and once again had a first person view. I had to sit down for a few minutes after that because I was at a loss for words, still am actually. How could I have an out of body experience even when my body is moving around like normal? Has this happened to anybody else?


2)For the last year or so, I've been unsucessful with APing. I don't count the above because I didn't induce it. There's a recurring dream I have whenever I try to concentrate on APing before I fall asleep. In the dream I'm outside of my body but can never control where I'm going and I'm always still in my bedroom.

Which brings me to the subject of my spirit guide. Last night I sent out thoughts asking for my spirit guide to allow me to meet him/her and for me to be able to remember it. I don't remember anything but I had the dream of me APing again. I'm confused, does that mean anything?

For those who are very skilled at aping, would you be able to do this?

How effective are these for achieving projection?

So they're not like the entites I hear about? They're not evil so to say?

I think I should have been a little more clear on 3.

Death is known as the permanent OBE, I understand that much. But, even if it's rare, can you die while APing? I've heard if you "cord" snaps, you die. Say if I tried to purposely break the cord, would that do anything? Are there any other factors(despite being rare circumstances) where one's life could be in danger?

I'd also like to expand some on 2.

How much does your spirt guide know about you? Do they know anything about your from the physical?

Hi again Astral Pulse. May I bother the great minds of this board? I have some questions regarding projection.


1) While one is projecting, do you literally leave your body? I'm hoping that you do but somehow I'm not so sure.


2) What exactly are "spirit guides"? Are they real?


3) If one wishes, can he/she permanently leave their body via projection?


4) Which method is easier to project, sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, 7 chakras, or meditation?


5) Does moving slightly or opening your eyes improvise the success of projection?


6) Can you talk to others while on the astral plane?

Hi AP. Noob here. Well, not so much a newbie. I registered here a while ago but never really posted.



Last night I was listening to the Brain Wave thing on my headphones. That was my 3rd time trying it. The first time I tried I got GREAT vibes from it. Second time I got nothing. And last night I'm pretty sure I was getting vibes but I fell asleep. The thing is, I know I didn't take my headphones off. But when I woke up they were off my head and on my desk which is about 5 feet away. Nobody came into my room to take them off because I keep my door locked when attempting to project. Can anybody help me? What happened?
