I don't understand the whole debate.

I have better things to do with my life than ponder what will happen.

Either way, our concerns should be with the present state of the world.

If we are all on a path to spiritual enlightenment, let us walk it for its own, intrinsic value.

If it happens, it happens.

If it doesn't, doesn't.

I doubt you can change it.

If you believe it, accept it.

If not, who cares.

Simple as that.

Sounds to me like you had something geniuine happen... I find that the more you are convinced that it is real, the more real it becomes.

I've been having a dry spell as well... the first few months of attempting I had some intense experinces, but as of now, tihngs are kinda dry... a few good lucid dreams, but not as much as I would like... any advice?

I find when I meditate I am able to preform great feats of musical creativity... all my best work has been after a little meditation session...

I agree with b12145 idea on what God is.

What does it matter though, no matter what incarnation we percieve God to have, will we not eventually work out?

Maybe your having an accidental OBE and don't quite realize it, or it could a hypnogogic visual... I'm not entirly sure. Just go with the flow and see what happens...

Intersting thought... Of course there are many different explanations of how thee human soul was created, and/or what it is, the idea that our bodies are symbiotic to our souls is one that I find facinating...

I'm a vegetarian more due to personal choice. I find that I feel more spiritual being a vegetarian. Also, since I do not need to consume meat, that by abstaining from its consumption, I avoid all moral conflict that may be associated with consuming meat. (Moral conflicts such as enviromental concerns, humanitarian ones, as well as animal rights concerns.) With a simple act of not consuming something that I do not need to live, I think I do more good in this world than by eating meat.

But again, this is my personal choice, and do not pass judgement on any who choose to eat meat.

And this is only one vegetarian speaking here.

Yeah, as long as you don't fear negs, then they can't do anything to you. Its all about the control of fear to negs. They try and control you with it, but if you control fear, you control them.

I feel that all religions are essentially the same, and that the manipulations of man corrupt them and set them against each other. As long as we live a good, dedicated life, full of compassion for ourselves and others, everything works out in the end...

Their guitarist is a master at creating beautiful musical landscapes with very little. Many players these days are so focuse on shredding somewhere between insane and likely-to-induce combustion, yet his guitar work is fairly simple. I love playing along with their stuff and they are such a huge infleunce on my guitar work... love it... I love the constant theme of unification and the two becoming one with in their work.

Me and my friend were standing around at track practice one time waiting, I think we were waiting for a friend or something, when a voice that sounded exactly like his father yelled out his name. We both spun arround looking for him, but the nearset person was a few hundred feet away. I looked right at him and said "did you hear that man?" "sounded like my dad didn't it?" he said. Sorry, kinda off topic,, but I have hears noises whille falling asleep every now and again. Sometimes its a loud boom or my name...
