I'm more curious as to why you type words with a K instead of  C. What do you think this is? Mortal Kombat?

So I've been working hard to have an OBE for the last 2 weeks now. Before that I was trying for about 2 months before going on holidays and sort of losing the regime, but the last 2 weeks have been full on. I've been asking myself "am I dreaming now" commonly throughout the day, and last couple of nights I've asked myself in the dream, without different results.

Last night I had lots of weird dreams, but it wasn't until I woke up when I had the closest I've yet come. I woke up, and started dozing off again. I could hear my mum in the kitchen clattering around, so I thought I wouldn't get anywhere anyway. After about 10 seconds, my body started shaking like crazy and I heard what sounded like fireworks. I couldn't move, and I started "pulling the rope", but after a bit it just died down and I think I either fell asleep or just woke up again.

But this is good, right? I mean, it's progress? I've been writing everything down in my journal, hopfully soon I will have a conscious OBE, but until then, I'm just speculating.

Firstly a bit about me. I'm 21 years old and have been trying for an OBE for the last few months with no success. I've tried numerous techniques and have been keeping a record of my dreams and also asking myself reguarly during the day "Am I dreaming?" whilst looking at my hands. (As some suggested might help)

The other night, after a series of OBE attempts, I gave up and went to bed. For some reason, during my dream, I realized I was dreaming. This is uncommon as usually I don't even catch on as my dreams are usually fairly realistic and in relation to what's going on in my life. But this time, I sort of shouted out "Hang on, I'm dreaming!"

I immediately forced myself upwards, and everything went dark. I saw myself sleeping on the bed, and everything was bright blue, kind of like a flash back scene shot from a movie. A voice inside my head was going "holy cow, I'm doing it" and i started laughing. I was rising slowly, and saw what appeared to be the view from my roof, before suddenly dropping back downwards and waking up, with a headache.

So, was this a lousy OBE or just me dreaming I had an OBE? Or something else entirely?
