Cats can see astral so you are freaking her out

but I haven't been able to!

This isn't quite a new method but I though I would share it in the event it will help someone. It's more of a new way of thinking of things to help 'get you there'. It sort of came to me last night while watching a lot of videos of varying spiritual topics, and it's pretty simple.

As you're lying in bed, close your eyes and ask yourself the question: what's it like to be right now? Keep asking yourself, and as you do, really focus on the answer. Focus on everything you're feeling and experiencing. I find that repeating the question to myself over and over keeps me focused on answering it. I found that this brings me to a level of awareness that leads me to feel more than just the bed I'm in, the wrinkle in the cover, the sounds that are coming into my ears. I start to tingle and kind of expand.

At this point I start to ask myself the following question: What is it like to be the real me right now? And again, focus on answering yourself by focusing on everything you experience. At this point for me I'm focusing on the pleasant buzzing feeling that seems to envelope and exist around my body rather than in it. I also focus on the sounds I'm hearing within. If I think about it at this point, I can be aware of my body, but overall unless I'm focusing on what my body is feeling I'm largely disassociated from it.

Then I've been playing with what I ask myself next but I've had success with questions like: "what's it like to be seperate from this vehicle" and by this point I always feel very much like my body is a thing I'm inside, rather than something I am. Or the question "what is it like to remember who/what I really am" When asking myself these questions I have almost immediately felt and heard a woosh come up through my head.

unfortunately for me this is pretty much where I get to most of the time if I'm not starting from within a dream and I am not able to project myself just yet, as I said this just came to me last night and I've had to opportunity to play with it twice. I think it has a lot of potential, at least for me. It helps me to disassociate way more easily than visualization does.

My consistent issue with the whole process is I get jerked out of things right when I'm about to project when the wooshing comes along. I like to think that means I'll get there soon. The more I experience the wooshing the more likely I am to not have it startle me out of things.

Anyway, hope this can help someone else too.

Has anyone else had this experience or does anyone have any insight into what's going on here? Every time I try to project when my cat is in the room, she get really agitated. The further along I get in the process the more agitated she seems. Frequently she will come step on me to bring me back to being totally here. This morning I was going through the motions and getting to a vibrational state and she started yowling at the door (presumably to get out) which is INCREDIBLY out of character. Always if she wants in or out of a room or the house she sits quietly and patiently by the door until someone opens it for her. Or she'll go entertain herself elsehow if she sees it's not going to be a while. I was ignoring her for a while but the further I got the more incessant  she became and desperate she sounded, then as soon as I opened my eyes and sat up to look at her, she stopped and came over to be pet, no longer eager to leave the room.

I'm close with my cat and am certain she looks out for me consistently, my running semi joke theory is that she is a spirit disguised in a cats body sent to me at the beginning of my spiritual journey (I rescued her just before I started on my current path with this kind of awareness) and that if I project I'll see her and I'm not supposed to. But that's simply conjecture and might be a littler absurd.

Anyone have any insight into what's going on? Is anyone else' cat bothered by being around you when you project?
