My name is Adam, I have been reading about astral projection and meditating since about 2009. I have had two OBEs, both in one night, and then nothing. The two that I had where relatively early on and I have been in a dry spell ever since. I have been reading this forum for a long time but I do not believe that I have every posted anything. I want to thank everyone for providing this support network.

I plan to post a daily journal reporting my progress.

Here goes nothing. 

It's just that when this happens my hands involuntarily clamp shut, and than proceed to grasp tighter and tighter. I guess I'm just asking if this is normal, or if anyone else has experienced this.

While I am in the vibrational state my hands clamp shut, and my wrists curl inward. When this happens I cannot open my hands, the same thing happens to my face to were I cannot open my eyes. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

Tonight I laid down and done my relaxation exercises, and began breathing deeply. In through my nose and out through my mouth, like blowing a candle out. After about ten minutes I got intense vibrations, paralysis, and my hands clamped shut, like claws. I than attempted several exit techniques. I first tried the rope method first, with no success, and than I tried to role out which didn't work either. I seem to be stuck at this stage , and I need some advice from thous of you who are more experienced. What am I doing wrong? Is there something that I can try next time?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying for several months to have a obe and I still haven't got out of body yet. I have experienced intense vibrations on numerous occasions, and I have tried various exit methods while in the vibrational state, though none have worked.

If you have experienced this and overcome it, please help me. Thank you in advance.
