How do you know they won't loose form and dissapear into thin air? Thoughtforms usually do after a certain length of time, unless you're constantly thinking about them and constructing them mentally.
I know they won't lose form and disappear because they don't. But as to the reason why they don't... As they say "Sore wa himitsu desu" Though a fairer answer may be because I realized fairly early on that I did not want to have to constantly think about 'em. So I made them think on themselves, that doesn't seem to make much sense, but it seems to work :)

Or posting them on a forum and letting others keep pumping energy into them.
I propose we 'boggart' them- make them into something funny and cute.  Maybe put braces on those teeth.

You'd have to find 'em first.  :|
I suspect they would not take kindly to someone other than me altering their form. There are other ideas why that would be a Bad Idea, however. Besides I don't think braces would do very much, they'd need tooth caps.

Possibly next time you should give them a phrase that won't hurt if they accidently act it out instead of say it.
hahahahaha!
I'd never thought of that.

More answers plz
Have you tried that binaural beat thing "Boxed Nirvana"? It won't make you project but it seems to put you in a state where it's much easier. It seems to cause some really weird optical effects for me, keeps surprising me so I end up snapping awake.

Oh, I didn't pay attention to the subtitles.  :|
It's usually difficult to read so I didn't even bother. But it's ok, now at least I know some more things that indicate an unreliable experience. It seemed like a total failure as I couldn't get anything done:
*couldn't speak
*object (creature) didn't appear
*couldn't identify language spoken

I even asked the crocodile to repeat the sentence, but he wouldn't...

Oh well. I'm calling this experiment a failure. I've recalled them all.
For those who are curious, the phrase they were given was "I am a Biter"
I may try again later, with a new code phrase of course :)

Nah, that's just me looking awesome :)

Yes, it was like remote view, my astral body was projected but I was watching through a screen. I've been trying to perfect this method, learning to identify when the experience is reliable and when it isn't. One good thing is that there are no fluctuations, since I don't participate in what is happening, so it all depends on the accuracy of the transmission.
Interesting experience, a pity you cannot remember the subtitle, the phrase they were given was 4 words long.

Were the sharp teeth really necessary? I mean, usually I wouldn't expect something like that to be able to communicate. Maybe it would've been more effective for the purpose if you would've made them with a more emotive face? No offense, but hell, a smiley face would probably be better than the face on what you made. At least with a smiley face one wouldn't half expect to be bitten.
Well they can smile but that doesn't make them any less creepy. ;)
I personally don't think they look so awful. I've tried making 'em less aggressive looking but they always end up creepy :)

Jormungandr, at your service!
Sometimes poet, sometimes craftsman generally handy with everything. Everything mundane that is -- it seems the only way I notice anything out of the ordinary is if it pokes me in the leg. I've managed only one conscious, controlled (well, in that it did not happen accidentally) and fully awake projection. That was an interesting experience, let me tell you! Most of the time I just have severe problems clearing my head, it tends to be busy up there.

Anyway here's me in a cowboy hat.

It costs energy to produce those things, and if I see one of those I'll destroy it wich means you have lost that energy.
You can certainly try, though that seems a bit of a strange and excessive reaction.

:) i believe that we construct dream holograms (for lack of a more concise terminology), but i hesitate to call them life.
I'm told that what I refer to as a fairform many might refer to as an Avatar? Pretty sure I did not dream 'em up. Like I said people I know who are sensitive to such things can see them and accurately describe 'em. ^^

:) sorry, but you don't seem to indicate this in your first post.  you may have mentioned it in one of your later posts, and i haven't read the whole thread.

are you suggesting that you've created life?  please define 'fairform'.

You're right, it was my second post. Shows what happens when I do not have caffeine. I think the most basic definition of fairform is energy with purpose. Though at our most basic level that's us too, hence calling them constructed things as well ;) . As to life ... I'd never considered that, but they do satisfy the dictionary definition of life.

Quotethe condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.

there are many rare forms of life in the astral.  and you may be encountering nothing more than a big worm.  sounds like some prehistoric creature maybe.  i've encountered rather strange breeds of creatures in the astral.

I am not encountering them -- if you read my first post they're a fairform... a constructed thing. One I made. The whole point of the exercise is to see if other people, ones I do not know can sense or interact with 'em. Hence the phrase they've all been given to say to any intelligent beings they meet.

Though I imagine you are right, there are indeed many and varied natural denizens of the astral. Look at the variety of life you can get simply in a tidal pool.

Ugly looking thing. Why couldn't you had sent out some cute women in bikini's or something to give us a message? LOL

How did you send these things out? you just shout that you wanted a load of these things there and then and just kind of told them what to do or?
It is ugly, but I've always though beauty could be expressed in function.
And basically, yeah. Didn't really shout out loud though, just stated what I wanted

rats and snakes are much prettier.  have you possibly considered meditating on rats and snakes instead of summoning giant worms?  they may be more pleasant.

But I am told Rats and Snakes exist naturally in the astral, I assumed toothed flying worms would be pretty rare.

I heard a voice before it bit- but I can't remember what it was.  Possibly a name, I think  I'm not good with that kind of thing unless I have a pen next to me and write it down fast.  Then it kind of jumped up and bit me.  I do know that I woke up swatting at it and saying a bunch of swear words.  Luckily, my hubby is used to stuff like that.
I guess toothed flying worms are more common than I thought. The timing is right, but the size and behavior are not. Still I hope that has not happened to ya since.

I'll have to see if I wrote it in my journal and let you know.  Right off the top of my head, last week sometime.  It's been crazy lately, so I couldn't be sure when. (on edit)-Ok, Nov 10 or 11.  The thing was about 7 inches long and it bit me on the left shoulder.  At the time I thought 'prekundalini thingamajigger?' but the shoulder didn't seem to make sense, and it was wormier than snakeyer.  Sumbich looks a lot like it.

Seems a bit small to be what I was talking about. . . Though did it say anything?
Also what happened before it bit ya?

You let loose many of those ????
:D

The first thing I'd do is run away with my astral tail between my legs, let alone communicate with it.... ;)

If it were a sexy babe .... aha ;)

Hahaha! I'll keep that in mind. Still they have a nice smile

Yes, and I was bitten by one (I can't remember, but it could have been in the shoulder). Seriously.
When did that happen?

Thankfully no. A worm with lots of sharp teeth! Looks nasty.

Looks like a neg or something from a lower vibrational level. Don't generally dwell there.

Why do you ask? Have you seen things like that?

They certainly do look nasty and negative, though they aren't. Actually it's not a natural thing at all. It's a ... fairform I think was the term. A construct. They outlived their original purpose.

the reason I ask is because I am trying something of a grand experiment. I've set quite a few of those things loose. They're actually supposed to seek out astral projectors, and try to communicate. There's a specific phrase they've been given to repeat. If people who are capable of AP can see them and communicate, perhaps even get the correct phrase back to me that would be significant evidence that I am not crazy

thats what I said too lol
I suspect the person who wrote the original has been hitting the "magnetic waves" a bit too often. You can find someone who's against just about anything though. I mean, look at the Flat Earth Society.

Hello all Astral pulse members,

Yesterday when I wanted to sleep I wanted to AP. So I began with visualizing and clearing my mind...After a while..I felt the vibrations. They were so strong. So, I tried visualizing rolling out of my body and looking in my third eye. After looking in my third eye, The vibrations got STRONGER and I got out of my body after visualizing rolling out of my body.

I was in my room. The vision was a bit blurry..I remember I had to focus alot on the thing I am seeing to make it clear. After a while, I felt that this was experience was going to end. I heard that rubbing your hand will continue the experience..I did, but nothing worked. But the feeling was like rubbing your hand when its numb.

Then, everything was fading..that when I woke up. The experience lasted like 20 seconds. lol.

I have a few questions:
1- How can I go to the ethereal while in a AP?
2- How can I will myself to go anywhere I want?
3- Why did the AP lasted a small amount of time??

Thanks!

Grats on the first AP!
I've managed it once, more or less by accident as a quick experiment, mine also lasted very little time because I had no idea what was going on and managed to project to a friend's house, I kind of freaked out and returned. I cannot answer the first two questions but the last -- perhaps you were trying too hard? Like when doing those Magic Eye Pictures if you try to hard you lose the image and end up with sore eyes.

So, has anyone seen anything like what's pictured below while astral projecting? (artist's conception)
The picture's kind of big and I do not have the original here so have a thumbnail. These things are slightly longer than a tall man's arm though significantly thicker. If you see one, try talking to it -- see what it has to say.

Edit: I think this would be the correct forum -- kinda new here.
