I'm not really sure where to start with this, as I can proudly say I have had _my_ first verifiable psychic experience!

I have been visiting these forums, and others for approx 2 years now and have a great deal of appreciation of the knowledge presented here, and am interested in experimenting and learning. The only fly in the ointment is that up until know, I have been relying upon other people's verification - the difference between licking a picture of an icecream vs the real thing IMO.

Well, lucky me, I came across the introduction to the Pendulum by, Mayatnik , in the 'Astral Consiousness' forum, so very excitedly I created my first pendulum out of shoe string and 2cm bolt.

Imagine me sitting there on the first night, saying "Go pendulum!" , "Show me YES, please", "Show me NO, please" , but all to no avail, my pendulum hung like overcooked spaghetti.

Not to be put off, the next day I sat down and talked to (through) my pendulum again, but this time I relaxed & concentrated, and what I observe is that my Pendulum starts swinging, but only when I push it with my mind! The short version of this story is that I can make my Pendulum swing front/back , left/right or even around in circles though to this point, though have not had any responses to questions from it!

So, my dissapointment at not having a responding pendulum is greatly dimminished at my excitement of manipulating using newly found PSI ability. Question is, what steps are suggested to begin receiving communication through my pendulum?

I recently purchsed 'Astral Dynamics' and think it's fantastic.
Great reading until you get to the NEW section and actually have to do some work. :-#

I have done about 8 sessions using the techniques described in the book and I have some questions too :

1. Sometimes when I am putting my awareness into a part of my body, ie foot, I do get a warm, tingly feel in my body, but more often than not, it's across a broad section of my body, not the body part I am putting awareness into. Can anyone explain why that might be?
(BTW, there are ocassions where I get tinglying in a local area).

2. How do you know when you are getting the hang of it? Is it just enough to get warm and fuzzy feelings and then move onto next section of book?  I am wary of moving to more challenging section w/o being capable enough. Any suggestions of time frame to spend at initial MBA section?

3. I find it much easier to put my awareness into my hands, than my knee, or toes for example. Is that normal, or should all body parts be equally able to be stimulated?

I woke up this morning aware that I was having a really wierd dream: I can recall being with someone else who was showing me around (another reality or something, i'm not sure) and then this person 'freed' me, and I was released from my body, I recall feeling absolutely ecstatic. We then ended up in another reality where people where smacking each other on the ar$e (not in the nude or anything, just people behaving strange) -( I told you this was a strange dream), and then we strarted running across a field, really fast, as we were in sort-of spirit form, and then we turned into rodents and tried to burry ourselves in the dirt to try and hide... and then I woke up. I can still remember being a rodent trying to hide in the dirt - wierd!

So, my question #3 is, are vivid dreams a side affect of body energy stimulation?

Hi there,
I am interested if other people record their own voices for the purpose of assisting with visualisation/exploration. I am reading bruce moens's books, and also studying Robert's N.E.W material. Sometimes I find it hard to read an exercise and then try and remember it as i do it, so would like to be talked through the exercises (a bit like the Hemi-sync tapes).

Please let me know if you have advice on this.

For people familiar with Bruce Moen's activities and website (www.afterlife-knowledge.com), Bruce has indicated his willingless to come to Australia and conduct an Afterlife exploration workshop, no time frame as yet.
Underpinning this this is that we get the minimum number of people signed up before he travels. From memory, I think Bruce suggests 10 attendees per workshop is approx break-even point.

I realise this is forum for spiritual development, so I hope I have not offended anyone by posting what might be considerd slightly OT.

I am quite new to this website, and have been lurking for a while.

Recently i picked up a book at my local supermarket titled:

"Cosmic Voyage: A Scientific  Discovery of Extraterrestrials Visiting Earth" by Courntey Brown."

At first I thought it was a novel, then when I read the blurb mention  E.T's called "Greys", this aligns with other material I have read at www.cassiopeia.org .  I am about 2/3 way through the book and what he has discovered through remote viewing is astounding to say the least.

He details remote viewing experiences where he has conversations with Jesus, other intelligent life forms, and is able to observe incidients that occured hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Many of the things he details have had my mouth agap in astonishment.

If you are curious about where the human race fits in the greater scheme of things, then this is book may be a good starting point.

www.farsight.org also has a lot of information details how to become proficient in remote viewing.

Hi Adrian,
I did some experiments the other night with microphone into my pc. Quality was ok, as long as you're in a quite room, though I had to turn 'boost' on for my voice to be picked up properly.

If I get time this weekend I will try to construct a tape.
Just got my hands on 'Astral Dynamics' book so have had my head stuck in pages.

Hi Frank,
I agree about the count-down sequences in Monroe tapes. Are those counting sequences really usefull, or is just better to go at one's own pace and ignore them?

I might try some recordings tonight. Will be into my PC or Mini disk, so quality will probably be suss..
