KI, its easier said then done to keep a sane mind on hallucinogens.  Not trying to scare you away, or encourage.  Make your own decision, but seriously know what your getting into.  If you have never taken a hallucinogen I wouldn't recommend jumping right in at DMT.  But if you do just remember this.  "I took a drug because I wanted to change my perspective, I may not understand time right now, but it is passing.  Eventually this will wear off and I will be back to normal"  Can't say how many times this has kept me from doing some crazy stuff or breaking down and crying even.

There is no way I could possibly put into words what its like to be on a hallucinogen.

a very extremely rare hallucinogen, because of the fact that its about a 15-30 minute effect, but people describe it as the most horrifying experience of their life.  After though the gland in your brain people call the Third Eye, shows increased activity.

Of all hallucinogens, salvia is probably the worst for learning anything from. It's WAY too short an experience to even begin to center yourself in.

For certain types of individuals, some hallucinogenic experiences may be beneficial (like ayahuasca guided by a shaman). But NOT for learning astral projection. That's just not going to happen. Astral projection is a controlled experience, whereas with hallucinogens you're pretty much just going along for the ride - not an AP. At least a shaman can somewhat help guide an experience.

As a former hallucinogen user, I will agree, I used to try different hallucinogens because I found that viewing multiple perceptions at once was fascinating.  I do not use them anymore.  They are a very guided experience.  I have attained AP off of a research chemical once, needless to say I barely remember anything except for a couple sentences and flashes of vision.  To be honest I believe it is frowned upon there because the whole time I just remember feeling unwelcome.  Seems like I remember hearing my higher self say "why'd you do it?".  I do not regret the experience because it changed my thinking pattern and opened my mind.  THERE ARE MUCH BETTER WAYS TO OPEN YOUR MIND!  as far as salvia goes, its a very minor "trip" and honestly is really out of control.

on the other hand scientific research has shown DMT to activate your "third eye". *so I hear*

anyways just some food for thought.

1.how should i start?what do i have to do to go to the vibration level?

You have to get into a deeply relaxed state physically, while maintaining mental awareness.  There are many methods that people use, do some digging on the web and you should be able to find some methods to try out.

2.how will understand that i am ready to leave my body?

I just try to stay in the mind set that I'm always ready

3.what if someone wake me up during the AP?

You return to your body

Bondgirl, your absolutely right, I was a little bored and somewhat tired, so I just took a small rest listening to the tibetan chakra meditations after listening too root, then sacral, then solar plexus, I achieved vibrations during solar plexus.  I know I had achieved it cause I shook for a second and felt myself float up a little bit but my arms were anchoring me inside my body.  with both eyes closed I would envision my third eye opening and blinking ( as if for the first time ) then, I would picture my whole body filling with white light filling my crown chakra and the rest of my body after that.  When I had the vibrations I could see nothing, I thought "clarity now" and suddenly could see the vague shadow of my headboard.  I keep asking myself if I was imagining it, but i really did feel myself float up above my body but felt anchored by my arms :)  anyone have some insight on what to do about certain body parts anchoring you?

I think I sabotaged myself because when I felt the vibrations I got a little to excited  :-P

Thank you to both of you.  You both gave answers I was hoping for.  I was so excited to OBE and have been trying for a month or two now, and when he said the thing about evil, instead of anticipating it I feared it.  But now I understand that there is nothing to be afraid of.  Bondgirl, I am going to try that chakra CD.  I will let you know how it works!

Hey guys,

Recently I had a friend tell me what my aura was, he said it was green like dark grass and you could feel the warmth off of it like a summer day.  He doesn't know what it means and neither do I.  Does anyone know how to interpret that?  He also mentioned that in astral projection everyone has a task.  Then he said there are such dark and evil things there that he is too scared to do it anymore.

in short i have a few questions:
1.  What could my aura mean?
2.  Does everyone have a, "job" so to speak, in astral projection?
3.  Is there evil there? if so, is there danger in OOBE's?

Thanks!

One other thing I thought I would mention is that I have had the vibrations before.  I remember having them once sometime last year.  They scared me really bad for some reason and I woke up and wouldn't go back to bed.  Now that I have found out what those are, I'm very frustrated that I woke up!

Hey everybody,

I've been trolling here for a little while and decided I would join up.  I've had maybe 2 or 3 lucid dreams throughout my life none of which have been achieved on purpose.  In all cases I became lucid during the dream, then lose lucidity, and regain it.

I am very interested in having an OBE, and would like to know what you would recommend to someone who is first starting their attempts.

Any response is appreciated!
