Messages - Mister Astral

I remember reading this long ago.

This society could be a group of people trying to contact astral projectors, or it could be nothing.

Or something else entirely. Who knows?

Hmmm, aiight, I'll utilize this next time.

Thanks again.

I'll take a stab at it:

It's only strange because it's not meeting your expectations. You got a chance to see that your body is not "you" or your "I". It's just a vehicle for your "I". In the physical it's easy to believe that your body is you, because it's all you know, and now your getting to know yourself outside of the physical.

The first time I had a conscious OBE, I surprisingly found myself floating near my ceiling and and started swinging my arms and legs around like an idiot trying to grab onto something. The only reason I did that is I was instinctively relating my experience to being in the physical. But beyond the physical, there are whole new methods of interacting and perceiving to get used to. You have to drop physical-like expectations.
Thanks for the insight, Stookie. :-D

But I always hear everyone talk about seeing their astral bodies and yet I seem to have none. :|

I've had two more projections since my last post here. They both seemed significant and very bizzare.

I'll make a seperate post about the first of the two later; there's A LOT of details on that one.

Anyway, I've noticed from my last two projections that I have no reflection in the astral plane.

In fact, this morning's projection was particularly interesting. When I went into my astral body, I did the roll out method and rather than trying to stand on the floor, I instead let myself fall through for some strange reason. At first, I thought about "floating" or flying upward, but ultimately decided against it and just kinda' let myself fall.

Then,
I was back in my bed. :?

At first I thought I had gone back to my "normal body" but my whole body felt numb and when I looked up, I was looking at a reflection of my room above me. I could see everything in my room from an upside-down point-of-view except for one thing... I couldn't see myself lying down in my bed. The bed was empty in the reflection. :-o

Now, this wasn't the first time I've seen (or rather, not seen) my reflection in the astral, as I've tried looking at myself to see my astral body in a mirror once before.

What this could this mean?

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thank you both, but I would like to note that it was NOT my original intention of taking the pills to assist me in AP'ing. I had already taken the pills and just as the effects began to kick in it came across my mind that it might be interesting to see what they would do for projecting. However, as the pills make it hard for the body to fall asleep willingly, I found myself trying to force pre-projection stages.

I most likely won't try this combination again, just wanted some insight.

Thank you.

Do pills effect AP'ing at all? I was just wondering because I took 4 hydrocodone tablets and had trouble even getting to the vibrations stage, which I can usually manage quite easily now.

Maybe this was just a flop, but I was wondering from people with experience or information on the subject if pills of any kind effect AP'ing at all as far as the actual process goes.

Thank you.

Wow.

That's all I can say.

Or you can simply do as Hob Gadling does, and refuse to die. He's lived for at least 600 years.

Some of you must know what I'm talking about ;)
Haha, I do. :-)

If you don't do it now, you probly' won't ever again.

Then again, you must decide if it's worth the risk, and if something does happen, if astral projection is really worth leaving behind the "real world" just to die in the astral plane.

Well, I've had 3 "almost projections" and 1 succesful attempt in my month or so of trying, which is supposedly pretty good, but in my last "almost projection", everytime I tried to roll out during a vibrations,

1. I couldn't, and

2. The vibrations would start over.

It seemed as if the process was starting over each time, yet I could not complete it.

Advice? :?

Your so good at this. You get a lot of "almost" projections. I have only gotten an "almost" OBE 3 times but u always get close to OBEing.
This morning I woke up at 4:00 to attempt OBE but I was really tired because I went to sleep at midnight so I fell asleep right away.
Today im going to sleep at 10:00, waking up at 4:00 and then attempt.
Eh, I've had 2 "almost" projections and 1 full deal.

But um, this time what I did was just keep saying in my head, "I want to have an astral projection" as I started to fall asleep, and pretty soon I got to the mind awake-body asleep stage.

It's a matter of trial-and-error I'd say.

Just keep at it.

Well, I almost projected again this morning, but the vibrations became violent immediately and something didn't feel right so I stopped...

...Also, it seems like whenever I get the vibrations but don't go through with the projection, my ear starts popping...
#15
If this is an AP, it's a very fascinating one...

I hope to go to this place someday in my APs.

Thanks guy, I'm having trouble pulling one off lately, but I've been practicing meditation to help ease my physical tension and I'm focusing all my mental stamina into my next attempt.
#17
Yo, glad to hear you're gettin' there.

And yeah, if you almost OBE'd twice, then I'd say keep doin' what you're doin'.

...I finally had my first projection this morning (well, technically yesterday morning), however my sight was very distorted and fuzzy and I had a hard time walking (like the feeling you get after a powerful drug). However, I heard my Mom's voice from the bathroom (where she was when I woke up, *gasp* :-o) so I'm convinced it was quite real, though my memory of the events are fuzzy with my vision at the time.

What can I do to make my projections clearer, more easily mobile, and more memorable?
#19
Yeah, there's a mirror next to my bed, too.

I wish I had thought about looking in it to see my astral form yesterday. :|

I'll make a note of it for tonight's attempt.

Perhaps you should just lay on your side like you normally do.

That's how I achieved my first projection yesterday, I just rolled onto my back when I felt the vibrations and then went from there...

...So I think it helps if your body is already relaxed just before you feel the vibrations.

Sounds like a great start! I wish I had this kind of resource to refer to when this stuff happened 30 years ago when I was 15.

Interpretations and conclusions are relative to your own level of understanding/evolution, so don't get too bothered when questions remain. We ALL still have questions. The details/nuances still sometimes remain unanswered.

Vibrations early on, and even years later, can be noisy, flashy and violent. Wild, isn't it? Just stay calm.

Energy body turned around on exit or reentry, yeah, that too. On exit, that can take you in completely unexpected directions as well. It's not as simple as first thought.

Don't be distracted by the noise and turbulence; stay calm and go with the flow. We all chicken out the first few times, it goes with the territory.

Weird? ... yes, definitely weird! And mind-expanding!

Have fun!

EV
Thank you very much, EV.  :-D

I had my first projection this morning, however my vision was blurred for some reason and it was hard to walk, it was like an astral drunk.

I'll try again tonight and I'll hopefully have a better, fuller experience.

Well, I'm 15, and I was in the midst of my first astral projection this morning (very exciting, I'm still ecstatic), but there are a few problems with this:

1. When I began feeling the symptoms (vibrations which became violent, flashing lights, which resembled lightning for me, when I closed my eyes, etc.) my body has somehow been turned around.  Was this my "astral body"?  Also, when I "came back" to my physical form, I was somehow turned back around, and there was a strange popping noise in my ear.

2. There was a bit of light coming in my room, because the door was open, yet when I began feeling and seeing symptoms, the room was void of light, yet I could somehow make out features in the room... Weird.

3. This was not a complete projection, as I got scared and chickened out at the last minute, however I did make a small attempt at projecting for a moment and my body simply wouldn't budge and felt as if it were frozen in motion.

Someone help me, please.

Thank you.
