so the theory you propose Traveler is that the third eye is the means we use to see things that are not "PHYSICALLY" there? hmm... well... both interesting theory's... hmm... IVE GOT IT!! thanks to BOTH of you Traveler if what you say rings true then my ideal of the third eye has been extremely misled GAH i should have seen it! i found a while back the the pineal gland is A: built with retinal tissue as you mentioned and B: it releases Melatonin which has a history of increasing vivid dreaming or otherwise 'projecting into sight' so to speak
this could also drop into my theory of the astral world and the physical plane at another time

4 years wasted? no, i learned a lot from it that will aid me in further research and endeavors

now,if we can all agree that telepathy is a feat of two persons achieving the same level of vibration
could in theory two people share a dream via similar vibration?

i have been trying to open my third eye for exactly 4 years and 3 months now and i have tried everything: ive meditated for hours, i listened to brain wave frequencies also for hours,I've fasted, researched, prayed, contacted priest and shaman alike  and many other methods and in all of them 4 years my third eye has continued to fail opening. i posted this here because i am beginning to become desperate. i have a whole literal library of research ive done my whole life on any and all things related to spirituality and if i cant experience it then i may just go mad, for i have lived my whole life doing nothing but this
