I hadnt had an OOBE for a long while, i used to get them spontaniously when i was laying in bed at about the age of 6 and then later when i was 16 i decided to try inducing an OOBE and it took so long to make it happen. Then one evening after i had been laying motionless for about 5 hours straight my whole body numb and weightless i decided it was time to catch some sleep. It was strange because it was so unexpected but just as i was about to drift off, i suddenly became alert. My heart started to beat insanely with an adrenaline rush and and my astral eyes opened wide. My eyelids in reality were shut, which was new to me because when i was little i was always awake with my eyes open when it happened. I started to exit my body but it was strange because instead of rising up towards the ceiling, i started to feel as if the bed was moving forward at an insane speed and i felt like i was gonna go flying off the back of it! i grabbed at the covers and unfortunately i was so excited that i was finally experienceing it again that my body jerked itself back to reality. As i opened my eyes i was laying there just as i had been before when i was drifting off to sleep. Iwas laying on my front with a pocket of herbs clutched in one hand and my head laying on the other. I was completlely aware of everything when it started to happen,and i wasnt atall sleepy despite having meditated for 5 hours before hand in a dark room! all of my OOBE's have been not very 'real' in the way that i dont see things like some people see and they swear they where happening in real life at the time and i can only think of one that was like that but i was so young i wouldnt like to count on me remembering it right. I have also been floating around and hallucinating things in my room at the same time that i know definately werent real cos flowers dont grow out of carpets! (and no i dont take acid or any other drug!) if anyone knows anything about hallucinations or have experienced unrealistic things like this please let me know! x x x pixie steph x x x
