Awesome, thanks. I was wondering if it was something to do with memory and/or visualization. Might try an experiment soon with placing specific objects in certain rooms to help with transference.

A good practice for now is once you get deep in your meditative state, start focusing on your Kitchen or your Living Room. Try to see it with as much detail as you can. Feel as you touch different objects in that room. But don't keep checking back to see what your physical body is doing or feeling. I was guilty of this quite a bit and this hinders progress as well.
Never thought about this before until I read your post.
I've left my body more times in my first home (my parents house that I grew up in)compared to the last two houses I've moved to. I also have more memories from when I stayed with my parents. Do you think this affects my ability to project?

Never had pain as such but quite recently a strange feeling of pressure in/on my forehead. Like when you watch someone else get hit in the eye and almost feel it yourself. Usually I just try and focus on another limb to relax then come back to the forehead.

Awesome. Sounds as if you're really close Inphered. I think the trick is not to be shocked back into a physical state but it's easier said than done. I'll be watching this thread to see how you get on. Good luck. :-)

Hi Kalana. I'm new to this forum as well and reading your description, it sounds as if you're at the same stage I am. I had been experiencing sleep paralysis since I was a child. The usual waking up unable to move or talk, sometimes feeling a presence in the room (although on most occasions I could tell that this being was just my mind panicking), something holding my throat or 'sitting' on my chest, etc. Because of my age I thought this was a common thing that people felt through the night and never questioned was happening. The sleep paralysis episodes came to a stand still in my late teens/ early twenties. I did'nt think too much about it until one day, by chance, I started reading a book on astral projection and found the similarities between a.p. and s.p. too much to ignore. These past few years I have been trying to consciously project and only managed it a couple of times. It would be cool if you could keep in touch and share what techniques are working for you.  8-)
