What do you think?

I would really like some input on this.  And if at all possible a gut/intuitive reaction rather than basing this on what you may have read or been told...

Many years ago now I had my first two projections...The first time I saw and touched my body.  The second I was being taken somewhere but became too concerned about getting too far away and returned.  I met a woman who was an experienced projector.  She told me she had abandoned her journeys because she was almost trapped in a realm where she would not have been allowed to return.  She also told me of an attack by a succubus.  I became very angry with her as she tried to convince me not to attempt to project anymore.  It took me a few days to let go of the lingering angst about our conversation.  Later we developed a relationship and lived together for eleven months.  My Dreamtime adventures stayed just as intense as before we met but I had no more conscious projections.

It took over a year after we split before I was able to start projecting again.  I didn't realize how deeply those fear-based ideas I had let form had been affecting me.  Since then I have had about ten more conscious projections.  Never have I had what I could even closely consider a negative experience.

My question...

Knowing that our personal realities are very much in concert with our personal beliefs and co-created experiences based on our collective un-conscious/consciousness...Doesn't it then seem that beliefs in negative entities being able to have a go at you, and such would then set in motion that reality for you?

Taking into account the seeming reality of likes attracting likes and thoughts manifesting forward into physicality through the continued subscription of energy towards them, I just wonder...Personal affirmations are very powerful.  Continuing to affirm the presence of such entities and such by applying techniques/prayers/charms/etc./etc. for protection would then be seen by me as giving the power to said entities.

Sorry if this is bit confounding....I just am wondering...

Believe in negative entities...Invoke spell/prayer/etc. to protect from said entity...Give life to said entity...

On the flip side...

Affirm positive, loving, uplifting, secure thoughts...positive, loving and uplifting reality follows.

What do you think...

Naive....or....Or am I onto something?

Cheers!

Reiki is a fantastic medium for doing healing work.  The best way I have found to channel healing energy is to let go of any expectations or thoughts and allow the energy to flow on it's own.  Ki/Chi/Prana, etc. knows exactly what to do as it has it's own intelligence.  The one requesting the healing will only receive that which they are willing to accept.  It's part of the whole free will dealio.  Just like asking for intervention or help from the angelic realm.  This is a wonderful thing to remember during any healing session.  You can ask for assistance from anyone from JC to St. Germain.  Whatever/whomever you are confortable with believing in and calling to.

I use the exact method Tom refers to in the previous post before any energy work.  It opens and activates the chakras in the palms and fingertips.

Once you get further along in Reiki you can channel long distance healings.

Frank,

I must say that I have observed similar thoughts from you over and over again.  It, and correct me if I am wrong, almost seems as if you are wishing this upon America.  You have stated that you detect seething anger.  No offense, but from all that I have read from you, there seems to be some seething anger coming from yourself.  Perhaps that is why it is so easily and readily detected?  Just a thought...I could be way off base and apologize thusly if so...

Let me remind you that the people killed in the Trade Center that day were from almost, if not, every country in the World, including Great Britain.  Anytime a disaster of this sort befalls the US, it befalls the WORLD.  We are the melting pot.  And regardless of the pitfalls that we find ourselves trying to avoid, America is the Greatest Host in the entire WORLD.  And before you or Adrian try to ream me about how hard it is to attain citizenship, let me point out that our country takes in people who are being oppressed, tortured and killed from more countries in this World than you can shake a stick at.

The IDEALS of America are what America is about...Not the bastardizations of our ideals committed by our government and corporate leaders.

Adrian,

I know this is old stuff I am rehashing here but I couldn't let it rest.  Mostly because I believe once past your righteous anger you will process what I have to share.

This is very important. We are advised from the higher spheres that "following orders" is no excuse for hostility, or worse still killing of brothers and sisters of mankind. The Karmic consequences exist and will have to be paid either in this lifetime or a future one.

Again, people are only ordered to do these things because they used their own freewill to join the military and knowingly place themselves in that situation. It is a conscious act, where the likely consequences are known.

Defending "what is right" is totally erroneous in accordance with Universal laws. Only the Divine Providence, being perfection, knows what is right, and temporal interests in all eternity are not right.

If you kill, or are a party to killing, the price will have to be paid. If all humanity knew and understood these truths, along with all truths, and the significance of progression, the world would bethe peaceful, place it was intended to be - the biblical "heaven on earth" which mankind is here to build.

With best regards,

Adrian.

Adrian,
Has the higher spheres spoken to you about the Transmutive qualities of the VIOLET FLAME?  Have you heard of Saint Germain?  Is it within you to attempt to use your SPIRIT to assist in Transmuting past/present and future Karma for the GOOD of the UNIVERSE as well as TERRA?  It is what we should all be doing.  Instead of acting like a bunch of hellfire and brimstone preachers, perhaps our best course of action is to ask SPIRIT to allow us to embody forgiveness and call upon the VIOLET FLAME/RAY to help transmute KARMA, rather than preaching retribution!

I share this with you Adrian, not to criticize your take on the war and actions of the participants.  I share it in the hopes that you will be able to help embody and ground the Violet Ray here on Earth so we can begin to move from a place of anger and blame to a place of forgiveness and love for all the souls of the World...Regardless of the uniform they wear or country they hail from...Let's face it, we all hail from the same source...May we all remember that...

P.S.  I will be performing my own version of the Violet Ray Meditation every day around noon Pacific Coast (AMERICA) time.   I invite all souls who read this or will share it, to do the same whenever they can find the time.  I, too, wish to live in Heaven on Earth and will do whatever I can to fulfill that appointment.

Of course everyone wishes the troops safety, but let us not forget that they are there of their own freewill. Not one member of the military is there against their will - they are there because they want to fight, and use the weapons of war against fellow human beings - their brothers and sisters - have no illusions about that. If they did not enjoy fighting, war, destruction and killing, they would not have exercised their own freewill to do it. What do you think these military personell believe cruise missiles are for - it sure isn't to put on an expensive firework display. Likewise for the tanks they drive, the aircraft they fly and the assault weapons they carry to kill people with - they are not being force to do this - they are doing it because they chose to do so.

Let me clarify a bit here for you Adrian.  I find myself agreeing with most all of your assertations.  I would however disagree with you here.  While it is true that for many years now military enlistment has been voluntary, the enlistees join for other reasons than wanting to kill other people.  For many they see it as a chance to help protect our country and what our country stands for.  Freedom!
For others it's a  chance to see the world.  For some it's a chance to advance their education on the govt. dime.  Whatever their reasons, I never once heard a fellow enlisted man say, "I joined up cause I want to kill people".  Not once...

As far as freewill goes...Yes they signed up...But that is where freewill and freedom part company with them.  They are under orders.  Don't follow your orders, how does prison sound.  Want to protest the war, go straight to prison.  Yep, that's right, along with your freewill goes those freedoms your risking your butt to defend.  Uncle Sam owns you...And until you are released from inactive reserves those freedoms can be taken away yet again.  And of course there are certain things you'll never be able to speak about for the rest of your life without the threat of imprisonment or death.

So, to sum up, yes the troops are being forced to partake in this war.  They are forced by the orders they are given from their higher command.  And those commands come from those who won't have to get a single speck of blood on their own hands.  Literally, not metphorically.  So cut the troops a bit of slack, please.  I'm sure they would all rather be home hugging their loved ones rather than enduring a harsh desert climate while trying to kill or be killed.

War sucks we all agree.  Protest it.  Tell Bush to knock it off.  Tell Blair to give it a rest.  But don't demonize the men and women of the US military.  I have known many who would give the shirt off their own backs to help a stranger, regardless of where they hail from.

Cheers!

The following site is a great example of the freedom to find the truth and express it we enjoy in a country that still, although barely, clutches to a document that ensures this right.  You try expressing opinions like this in other countries, Iraq for example, and you'll find you and your family imprisoned, tortured and dead.  Yet, as Americans it is our job to ensure the leaders of our country are held to task for their crimes.  And believe you me, if the media is ever turned on it's head, like it should be, we will see great shifts in US political climates.  Unfortunately mainstream press is owned and operated by greedy men who wish to fill their pockets.  Not on the truth, but the propaganda they are payed to fill our minds with.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/

As for my chuckles at your expense, I truly hope no one is charging you to write this stuff. LOL...That one is at my expense...hehe...You are the one who continues to write contradictory comments.  I just commented on the amusing quality of it.  If that insinuates that I am doing it at your expense then so be it.  And for your clarification, Brits isn't a derogatory term...When I was in the service the morons that tried to use derogatory language in connection with Britains used limey...They thought that one was quite funny.  I found all that jazz to be rather stupid.  My girlfriend at the time of my service was British.  I had a rather large amount of friends off-base, all of which I would have gladly stepped in front of a bullet protecting.  Perhaps this is part and parcel of why your continuing barrage of anti-American sentiment confounds me.  I mean, you are aware that thousands of American soldiers are on hand to help defend YOUR country, right?  And those same soldiers and their families help ensure a wonderful economy for the towns they are stationed at as well as surrounding communities!

I gladly welcome your anti-war sentiment.  It is just what the doc ordered.  Whether you mean to move that sentiment on to Americans or not, it just seems to come out that way.

Just wondering?  Have you heard of any of the deplorable acts Sadaam has committed against his own people?  Is all that propaganda?  During the gulf war the Iraqi soldiers were all but too excited to surrender, at least they could get something to eat.  That's right, Sadaam doesn't feed his troops very well.  He doesn't do much of anything for his people very well.  Does that give us the right to go in and take him out?  Probably not.

To continue to barrage us repeatedly with the same...OIL  WAR...OIL WAR...arguments is getting a bit old...There is much more involved here than that.  Subtle influences that ride bellow the surface of so called government leaders.  People who live in the shadows and control the events in the world through their secret orders.  And all to further their own agenda's.  Ones that if you or I were fully aware of would blow our freakin' minds...In other words stop saying things like what US is trying to achieve.  It goes well beyond that and if you meditate on it a moment you will realize it as well.

Wow, that sounded almost crazy enough to be true...Dang that William Cooper...Darn that Bill Kaysing...*Shakes fist at Oliver Stone*

Frank,

I find it amusing that you use derogatory words to describe Americans and then turn around and say your not anti-American.  Flatter myself...that's a good one!   A bit of a paradox of a man eh?  That's cool.  We cherish our freedom to speak our minds.

I find it even more amusing that you refuse to address Mr. Blairs part in all of this and from the previous post the fact that Great Britain has committed some very heinous crimes in their history.  I mean they killed Americans a couple hundred years ago for wanting to be free of their tyranny.  They wanted control and taxation of the bounty in this country and were willing to come over and kill to get it.  So again...Check into that high horse of yours, it could buck you with a realization.

I know how expensive Petrol is in your country...I bought my fair share when I travelled to and from base and around the beautiful countryside.  You want to be mad cause you pay more...Envy is one of the deadliest sins you know...Try blaming your own oil companies and the taxes imposed for your Petrol woes.

As for the pursuit of happiness...Give me a break...The vast majority of Americans pursue their happiness without causing misery for the rest of the world.  Again, more demonizing Americans and additional proof of your angst towards Americans in general.  Give us a break.

As Ender has pointed out all this polarizing with this us and them bull is getting us nowhere.  If we don't see ourselves as Souls in search of peace and love and doing our best to embody that, we are all screwed...Britains, Americans, Iraqi's and the rest of us.

Peace to you and yours!

Ah Frank, there you go again!  Where would we all be without your anti-American sentiments?  You use the term yank which in and of itself is a derogatory word.  You generalize Americans as being for this war.  As demonstrations all across this great land has proved, there are more Americans who oppose this war than support it.  Please refrain from such comments.  I find them insulting to myself, my fellow clear-minded citizens and what America truly stands for.  Freedom from oppression.  Freedom to pursue one's happiness.  And I am sure there is not one open-minded American that wants to see a single drop of blood shed!  Oh, and lest I forget, it does seem to me that Mr. Blair is fighting tooth and nail for this aggression.  So, instead of demonizing our country, how about taking aim at your own Prime Minister...Thank you in advance!!

A few thoughts and questions for you Linda...

The two children...How are you responsible for them, what is your relationship with them, etc.?  Here you might find some additional insight.

The sun rises in the east...It could then be seen as the dawning of a new day/event/etc.  The east is associated with the element Air and the season Spring.  There are many ways to look at this, so you should decide what the east means to you.

The north is associated with Winter, and the element Earth.  In the medicine wheel north is the last position and the east being the first.   Of course you should look toward your own associations with North as well.

Buildings generally represent our thoughts, beliefs, etc.  It is from this place where we find ourselves viewing the rest of the world.  An apartment could then be seen as temporary or transitory thinking we are dealing with.

Windows are associated with clarity of vision usually.  A two story high view is quite expansive.  It seems you were able to see much more than usual.

The atmosphere around this thinking is highly charged...(Lots of lightening strikes)...Again insert personal associations.  Currently we are dealing with some highly charged emotions, etc. with the world situation.  I can see the situation as being represented by the forming of dark clouds.  Of course that is my perspective.

The number four is associated with so many things.  The four elements, the four winds, the four directions, and so on and so forth and so forth...lol!

A very interesting observation you have there in the telling of the time table in relation to the possiblity of it's prophetic nature.  I would have to say that if that is the case your intuition is right on.  Whether this is speaking of shifts in Earths climate or your own inner changes, only time will tell.

As far as deciding whether this was a dream or an astral event I will share my personal beliefs and you can make what you will with it.  Of course your gut gave you it's own thoughts...wink, wink.

I personally believe the downplaying of dreams as unimportant is a blatant attempt by certain authorities to separate us from our own personal wisdom.  Dreams for me are just as important and relevant as any consciously experienced projection.  To me the only difference between an OBE and a dream is our awareness level.  Dreamtime is seen by many cultures the world over as being as real as what we refer to being real when we are (supposedly) awake.  And as more and more of my Dreamtime experiences take me to new levels of understanding I am much more apt to subscribe to those cultures than the psuedo-psychological explanations of our dreams by so-called experts of human behavior.  No offense to you psychologists/psychiatrists out there who may think you have a deeper understanding of dreams than people who wear loin cloths and worship the Earth Mother.

Hope this sparks more insight for you Linda!

Cheers!

Live more down to Earth...hehe...I had a gut buster reading that...Mwahahahaha...

Hey, we are kind of stuck here for now so I suppose we really don't have any other choice...At least until they build cities in the sky...Wink Wink to the old Star Trek fans.

A question...

Have any of you ever busted up clouds before?  Not by flying a plane through them, but just through concentrated effort from your very own mind!  If you haven't, you should do it sometime.  You'll have personal proof to back up any thoughts that perhaps you too, could have an effect upon consensual reality.

I applaud Hephaestus on claiming his own personal power and realization of his true nature.  And I offer this popular quote for his consideration...Think globally, act locally...

The mess this planet is currently in can only begin to be fixed by starting the changes from within ourselves.  While making those changes we are more apt to keep ourselves free of hypocrisy.  We also stay well within the bounds of Free Will.

As we look around we see others making choices that we know will be self-defeating as well as hurtful to others.  When Spirit prompts us in a major way we should definitely step in and bust whatever may be clouding their vision.  Yet, we must do our best to stay within the bounds of Free Will.  If they choose to continue in their destructive thoughts and behaviors, we must honor that choice.  Who are we to be able to say that they did not incarnate here just for that purpose.

A single person attempting to alter a co-created reality is quite the task Hephaestus.  It seems to me that the first place to start is by somehow awakening ourselves and then others to the fact that what we call reality is very much the product of our collected beliefs.  Be they conscious or subconscious.  All eventual actions will spawn from there.  At least that is how I see it.  The fact that you are at this point is in and of itself a major shift towards creating change.  I congratulate you.

Cheers!

Thank you so much for your responses Nita and CM!

I have a couple of questions for you Nita and please don't take them the wrong way, as a criticism, as it isn't intended that way.

You wrote:

I have astral projected for many years and I have always had complete faith that anything I encountered I could handle. I have never had anything able to attach to me or hurt me on the astral plane. Part of it is study, control and knowing what I am doing.

Your several years of astral projecting, do you really believe they qualify you to the extent of knowing what you are doing?  I mean, the astral is just a segment of the planes of existence that are out or in there.  And is there even the remotest chance, that your belief in your protection is as much or more responsible for your successes than any study, control or knowledge could provide?

What little projecting I have done has made it blatently clear to me that there is so much more than even a single physical existence filled with projection experiences could even scratch the surface of.  My past and any future projections are done on faith that I am protected and guided by a force much larger than what I believe my own collected lifetimes of experience could have blessed me with.  (This is why I was especially interested in your reference to faith in your post).  I yearn to learn.  I strive to know that which is unknown to me.  Fear is my own personal enemy.  I refuse to let it even begin to curtail my expeditions into the unknown from now on.  And faith is a wonderfu thing, yet I intend to try and back up my faith with personal experience.  This is part and parcel of the reason for my question here in this forum.

In life we see, feel, hear and intuit when individuals/groups/governments/etc. are using fear to manipulate us as individuals as well as a mass.  We also, if our power of discernment is well intact, know when we are being guided, encouraged through the energy of Love.  I have always found it rather interesting when someone who claims to love me tries to persuade me to do or not do something based on their own personal fears and biases.  In the many spiritual paths I have embarked on I have been subjected to many of those fears.  Fears of God.  Fears of Satan.  Etc.  I have always moved as far away from that type of motivation as is possible.  And I suppose I always will.

Now, let me tell you about a dream/projection, and I make the distinction only in the amount of conscious participation on my part.  (I feel dreams are projections as well, some inner as we examine our own subconcsious desires, etc.  But many I feel are journeys into co-created realities.  My time exploring Dreamtime and personal experiences with shared dreams have led me to these conclusions).

From my Dream/Projection Journal:

1-15-1997   33/6    Redemption

I am aboard a starship.  We are doing repairs.  It is necessary to fix an area with a shaded (filter) sunglass type area of the ship.  It's kind of like a shield.  Data (Star Trek next generation) is helping me.

When I am back inside the ship I go to ten forward.  There are two families having their meals at two separate tables.  One family has normal eyes.  The other have completely black eyes.  In my mind I register these two families as light and dark.

The wife of the dark family is warning the children of the light family about being disrespectful and how horrible it is for children to be taken by the darkside.  Her two children sit at a table with her husband (In my mind I register him as Lucifer).  I can sense that she regrets having chosen the darkside.

She sits.  Lucifer says that he is going to have to find a new wife.  He indicates to me that his wife has lost her soul for good.  I walk over to here and say, "Even if she redeems her soul through the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ?"

As I say this I sense Lucifer warning me not to.  At the very same instant two things happen immediately and simultaneously.  Lucifers wife's eyes change from completely black to normal and I feel as if I have flipped on a light switch.

In a rush of movement I come to with a start.  It was as if I shot back into my body in a state of panic at the wrath I can feel being generated from my encounter.  There is absolutely no grogginess.  I am completely aware of all that happened with crystal clarity.  The awareness level and lack of grogginess are very similar to my return from projections.  The only difference seems to be in the fact that I did not consciously experience the separation.

My very first gut reaction on awakening was that I had somehow fulfilled a mission I was called to take.  The religious implication aside, I feel that I was able to relay information to a soul whom had been tricked for ??.

Later I worked this experience in the same way that I work my dreams.  I figured, hey, this experience wouldn't have been mine to have if there wasn't some wisdom in it for me as well.  Even as I worked it just wouldn't stop coming back around to an astral experience.  Personal revelations and a personal redemption.  Not allowing myself to be fooled by darker forces.  Repairing the shielding that was not working properly.  Realization that there are no permanently lost souls.  Very interesting themes.

What does this particular experience have to do with this thread?  I refuse to let fear of anything, including the loss of my soul, keep me from searching for Truth.  As we all know, projecting can and will terminate upon the insertion of extreme fear.  My interest lies in projecting and staying in that state, even with the introduction of a fear.  I mean, how else could we possibly work past them?  And again we come full circle to my question at the beginning of this thread.  Perhaps this is my way of taking a conscious look at what fears I may have on the subconscious level.

Still, I wish to know what the other insightful souls of Astral Pulse think on this topic...From the belief perspective as well as personal experience...

Cheers!

You are correct in saying that it is used in many other products Tom.  What you are missing though is the fact that other substances may be substituted for oil.  Many of the ones you listed could be replaced by the oil squeezed from marijuana seeds.  Another reason it is still illegal in this country.  It makes a better fabric.  It could be used for paper.  Cash crops could be grown two to three times a year depending on the location.  And think of all the trees that would save!  There is more protein in a marijuana seed than any other seed.  It could make a much more durable plastic.  The oil could be used as oil bases in paints and, well, I could go on and on here.  But I won't.  My digits are in need of rest.

Needless to say Tom, we need to change our ways of thinking in relation to our dependency on oil in every aspect of manufacturing the products we use in our lives.  I await the day of the grand Awakening.  When enough souls reach a certain level of consciousness, we will see something very similar to what occured during the hundredth monkey experiment.

Thank you for the gracious welcome Adrian!  I am very impressed with this site and the insight of it's members.

I hope you didn't think I was picking on you Frank.  I looked inside myself for why of all the posts, yours seemed to raise the hairs on the back of my neck (They are fine white ones, not the huge dark scary kind). I believe one of the events that put me off was the beating of three of my fellow airmen at the hands (And mostly clubs) of a large group of British youth.  Why did they beat my friends up?  Because they were Americans.  I don't hate the young Britains that did that.  I hate the ignorance that led them to the violent act they committed.

Believe me Frank, I have heard of the plight suffered by the British during WW2.  I listened intently to my neighbor, who served during that hellish war, as he told me story after story of the suffering both the soldiers and those keeping the home fires lit endured.  Perhaps this is why my favorite band of all time has been and continues to be Pink Floyd.  In almost all of their albumns you can feel the pain of loss and anger towards military leaders, etc. with regards to that particular war.

In regards to our current world situation I'd have to say you are only partially correct in your view on why GW is so darn anxious to whoop up on some Sadaam butt.  Oil, yes that is quite obvious now isn't it.  Oust Sadaam, in with some govt./dictator that is pro USA.  Cheaper oil.  But there is more.  GW is not a rocket scientist.  Well, he probably would have difficulting saying rocket scientist.  LOL! Recently he was quoted saying, "A zebra can't change it's spots."  This active aggression towards Iraq is his way of showing how strong a leader he is.  He suffers the illusion that going to war makes one appear strong.  He also suffers from the illusion that a war will help the economy.  Since he has no intellectual reserves to wield in improving our economy, he uses this conflict to keep our attention elsewhere.  It's the classic tail wagging the dog scenario.  But there is more.  His father has his ear.  His father used to be head of the CIA.  I don't really think any more speculation is necessary as you can fathom what that might mean.  And of course the embarrassment that the Gulf War didn't take a large enough bite out of Sadaam's backside during Bush Sr's reign must play a part in here as well.  Soon GW will be attempting to keep his office.  Presidential polls are always favorable during a time of war.

Thankfully the oil card will only be playable for a few more years anyhow.  Hydrogen fuel cell technology is on the rise.  In less than ten years I believe we will see fossil fuel vehicles go the way of the dinosaur.  Sure the dinosaurs of fossil fuel will fight all the way to their extinction, but it is coming.  Type fuel cells into your browser.  You'll find it very interesting.

I believe Hugh is on the money with the real disease.  The lack of an education system that inspires one to think for themselves.  Our current education system could be compared with Pavlov's dogs.  We put the right letter in the right box and we are rewarded with an A.  We get enough A's and we get to attend a higher learning facility.  That facility rewards us with more A's as we continue to put the right letters in the right boxes, or write papers that our educational instructors find to their liking.  We get enough A's at this facility and we find ourselves rewarded by getting high paying positions in corporations.  How do we get ahead in those corporations.  Mostly by saying and doing what it is the heads of those corporations want to hear and see done.  And we come to ENRON and the other corporations, who's leaders sell out their people for their own personal gain.

We can also look to two of the most prevalent problems we face as individuals.  Lack of personal responsibility and instant gratification.  If something bad happens to us we want to blame, sue, etc. someone else until we gain financial rewards.  Lawyers love this stuff.  It fills their pockets every day.  Feel a bit low on energy, pop a pill.  Yeah that'll fix us right up.  How about finding the source of the energy depletion.  The pharmaceutical companies love that mentality...And they are making billions off of it.

I have strayed a bit, I apologize.

Anti-American sentiment is like all other anti-sentiment, it's anti-productive.  Are you going to hate Americans because of the actions of their government?  It makes no sense.  I'll tell you something else.  Go ahead and kill an American.  You will reap the Karma from your actions and you will not kill the true American Spirit.  It will come back again and again.  The True American Spirit is about Freedom.  It has no national borders.  It listens to no law.  It is truthful to itself.  It can live in any man, woman or child.

I think we can all agree that freedom is worth fighting and dying for!  Or can we?

As an ex-military member in the USAF who spent over three years in the UK I have a few thoughts for you...Especially Frank, who could have been brought up speaking German were it not for the United States military...Yes, I know, this particular statement has been overused.

While stationed at Mildenhall I spent a great deal of time off-base.  The older British men and women had a great deal of respect for us yanks.  They remembered the generosity of many American soldiers who donated time, food, blankets, etc. to the many people who needed them.  They also risked their lives to ensure the freedom from tyranny that would have become a way of life had the war went the other way.

While stationed in Merry Olde, I found it was the younger British (men mostly) that held us in contempt.  While I will agree that many Americans can be arrogant, for the most part they are like any other  human beings in the world. They thrive in loving environments and dislike being in the presence of negative and hateful ones.

For the most part I am extremely upset with my government and it's leaders.  They are self-involved and many of their decisions are not based on the voice of the people, rather the voice of their own damn greed.  But judging an American based on their government or leaders is completely absurd.  They say that the govenment represents the people.  They lie.  And killing the average American because of the actions of their government is unjustifiable no matter what.

As for US soldiers, they are just pawns in this sick game our government leaders play in order to ensure they keep their pockets full and their ego's intact.  The troops deserve our support in whatever dangerous endeavor they are forced to participate in.

I am very aware of the hypocrisies and atrocities of our government's past as well.  What happened to the natives on this continent is disheartening and a great well of sadness resides within my very being just thinking about it.  The question one has to ask themselves though, is how can we learn from these mistakes?  What good can we bring forth from the horror of our past?  Well, killing more Americans isn't going to help.  Standing up for what is right.  Voicing your opinion to those who are capable of initiating change.  These are all we have.  We best make good use of them.

It's funny how people/societies/etc. look outside of themselves and lob off blame and shame in an attempt to keep from looking at their own inequities.  In the case of Frank and his continued barrages at the actions of America, I would implore him to look at his own country and the atrocities of it's past and present.  I remember back in '88 '89 ish when I watched the news as football thugs and their violence caused the death of so many innocent fans.  I cried for them that day as I watched the film footage.  I didn't think, oh those poor British people, rather my heart went out to the human beings and the pain they must have been enduring.  Are you catching my drift Frank?

The United Kingdom has committed as many (Or more) horrible crimes against humanity during it's many battles for control in it's bloody past.  So no one, and that includes you Frank, has the high moral ground here.  So, in closing, get off your holier than though soapbox sir.  Instead of continuing to play the blame game, look within yourself for what it is you can do to create the atmosphere for a better world.  If I have learned anything from my life experiences, it is that thoughts are things.  As we continue to sow thoughts of love and peace within ourselves, we will eventually reap a world where love and peace flourishes.  If we focus our thoughts on others and direct our anger and dis-ease for our plights on them, we continue the dysfunctional cycle of thinking that has us in our current states of disharmony.

As we think so shall we become...

Cheers!
