Thanks! This is a big help. My only issue right now is simply trying to ignore the signs when they happen. It definitely takes practice

Hey so last night, at about 3 in the morning I woke up and decided to attempt an OBE (been trying for months now, using all sorts of different methods with still no success). Well after lying completely still on my back for about an hour just relaxing I felt this rush of energy and the feeling as if I was completely weightless. I did nothing to try and move, just continued my breathing and relaxation to see what would happen. The experience lasted probably less than a minute and I felt my body go back to normal again. Was this perhaps a missed opportunity for separation? If so what should I have done? Any advice would help I been wanting to accomplish this what feels forever now with little to no success whatsoever

Thanks guys!

I had an interest in this since I was young and I'm 24 now and only recently decided to start taking this seriously after reading stories and articles on it. For me its like trying to learn a whole new language on your own without even knowing what it is your trying to learn (if that even makes any sense). For now tho I shall keep practicing and learning new techniques. Although recently when I was in this meditative state I recall drifting off into a dream state only to become consciously aware for a brief moment I was dreaming, and then my head started buzzing and it felt like I was "high", not exactly what smoking marijuana feels like but it felt somewhat similar, and trust me there was none of that in my system at the time or for awhile. The noise inside my head wasn't exactly the high pitched whining sound I hear about when someone is about to project but it most definitely did not sound normal. Not entirely sure if what I felt was some sort of early stage of the whole experience or something else entirely but it most certainly felt "different"

Hey guys I'm slightly new to this and been practicing trying to make AP happen. I guess what my question is can someone who is experienced in APing to come "help" someone else out of their body that has no experience
