Very interesting, reading all of the disscussions on negs lately.  Myself, i've not had a controlled, induced OBE yet, or any other neat things, aside from developing my energy body a bit nicely.

I was wondering it is possible - has anyone encountered - a negative entity attaching to a inanimate, nonliving object?
Say....clothes or a childs doll that the child is fond of or the like?

What would be symptoms of this (I can guess at a few but...)

I was wondering if there could be a forum topic "marking"  feature that lets users check quickly only the topics that they are following/interested in, or just the topics they posted to recently and want to quicky check whether they need to reply.  Kinda like Ebay's watching page, which comes to mind.

Right now sorting throught the topics is no trouble but later on.....

My time online is quite limited, so i quickly try and hit the topics i'm following then save those pages for offline reading at a later time.

Which brings me to...Could the topic pages when loaded, then saved to disk have the same name as the topic subject?
Right now the pages, when saved to disk, are named "Astral Pulse" and I usually add the name of the topic to that.  (This may be totally selfish of me, sorry :)

Metaphysics,  I get this too.  Climbing the rope, I can usually count on getting: strong vibrations all over my entire body
a floaty, losing sensation of my body feeling
a boxed in perception of where i am
and sometimes a sense of moving upwards like my limbs moving and the like.

Then, everything ends because of erratic breathing.  It does feel as though I will hyperventilate.  Short little breaths, uncontrolled.  Takes all my concentration just to steady them to a comfy rhythm.  Of course, this ruins any other gains I have made at the time.

*Sometimes* the sensations just leave.  No warning, no more build up, no breathing problems, they just dissapear all at once, suddenly.
I am hoping it is the mind split effect like Robert talk's about.  That would be progress at least.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / ROPE

The rope technique for me, I usually get a rush of energy and what i think may be vibrations. I've felt floaty, and disconnected to my body and bed.  Sometimes, I get a change in perception, as if a box were placed over my head, things get quiet, as in trance.  But it always comes to an end, during the climbing, when my breathing becomes erratic.  I lose focus/concentration.  Trance dosen't seem to help even.  It lessens the symptoms, but that is all.

Tom, I know how you feel, about keeping the faith in AP.
I have been trying to consciously project since about age 13.  I am now 30.

I've been doing rope, and following RB's online presence since 1996.  I've yet to have a projection, from any means, of my own accord.  It *is* hard to keep a positive outlook on all of this, with so much effort being put in, and so little in the way of results.

Fortunately for me, i have had a couple 'experiences' to at least prove enough to me that AP/OBE is probably for real.  That is the main reason I still persue AP.

Yep, I too get these jolts.  For me, it started awhile after doing my energy exercises.  Even though I don't follow a regular schedule doing them (often weeks without practicing) I still get jolts now and then.  And it dosn't only happen when I am practicing raising energy or OBE, many times when I just begin to doze off to sleep.  Like fredhedd mentioned I am hoping :) it is because my astral body is slamming back to my physical one, maybe i'm getting close to a conscious exit.   I have noticed often I am on the threshold of holding a medatative state and/or sleep when this happens.

Also I occasionally hear a VERY loud crack or boom noise, very much like a gunshot.  Twice it was so loud my ears hurt from it.
