Yes I have tried to Astral travel or to have an out of body experience before, funny when I try I cant relax enough  :-D I do meditate to help with anxiety and to help with what ever block seems to have happened when my father suddenly passed back in 2013.  I used to dream every night, beautiful vivid dreams, but now not much. I feel I must not be dealing with grief very well ( I bottle stuff up) I was guided to try meditation.  I am going to try a few suggestions here and see if I can attempt it as a goal.  I will say the only scary part was the lady screaming in my ear.  other than that I was more like "whoa this isn't so bad" Plus I was really wasn't prepared, there was no goal to see my spirit guide or a love one that has passed.
Also any insight to the screaming lady was?  I see that hearing voices is very common and nothing to be scared of.  I just don't understand why we hear these voices, as to what they are.  thanks for any guidance.  Its nice to see others who are growing and embracing the spiritual side to our beings.

I went to meditate the other day, which usually has me falling asleep, but this time I focused on my third eye.  It seemed I was dozing off but was brought to by the feeling and sound of what I would describe as going down a dirt/gravel road. I was aware of what was happening as what I felt to be a sensation of being pulled by my feet quickly out of my body.  It scared me and I instantly popped back in to my body, but the noise and sensation was still going on and my mind clearly said "its going to be okay" and I let the sensation pull me out again.  It felt so fast, like I was going to fly into my mirror that sits on the wall at the end of my bed.  Yet when I got pulled out I suddenly stopped and was upright in mere seconds. Then suddenly I was back at the side of my bed, I remember hearing a wind like noise (reminded me of my son's white noise machine) and suddenly a woman's voice screamed in my left ear "Get back in".  It scared me and suddenly I was back in my body, I couldn't open my eyes at first but I started to consciously try to relax and wake up.  Anyone accidently have an OBE?  I have been reading up (thank you for a great website) so that when it happens again I know I have more control and wont be so scared.
