Welcome to Magic! / A Black Spell

Kiflarer,

You seem to have a lot of negativity within you. Why the preoccupation with black magic? Why is it that you so want to hurt other people in this world and why do you think you have the right? And do you honestly believe you have the power to decide whether someone goes to hell?

Whatever your reasons (powertrip, revenge etc) love, forgiveness and trying to see the good in people will serve you far better than harnessing negativity towards others.

Regards,

Welcome to Astral Chat! / David Blaine

Thanks for the welcome pmonline [:)]

Maybe 'worried' was the wrong word to use but you're not the first person I've heard who thinks DB has real 'powers'. I'll admit that some of his tricks are very difficult to work out (the one where he turns a cup of coffee into coins!), but as Peacefulwarrior points out, DB himself admits its all trickery and not real. He is very talented but don't believe everything you see on TV. Apparently (although I have no way to know if this is the truth), his levitation trick was put together with actors as the audience and they later filmed his feet off the ground whilst he was being hoist up in the air.

This is what worries me. David Blaine does have a gift, but it is in no way supernatural. He is a good magician no doubt but his tricks are exactly that - tricks. Nothing he does, as far as I can work out, is real. Many people, including people i know, have worked out how he does his magic, so please don't think what he does is anything other than very impressive 'magicianship'.

No Leaf - although I'm no expert, I thought a planet's gravity was determined by its inverted size:mass ratio. Therefore a tiny planet with a huge mass would have a very big gravitational pull and vice versa. By that token, a planet twelve times the size of jupiter, could have a similar planetary gravity to earth as long as it had a similar size:mass ratio. Maybe someone more in the know could clarify this?

Also, isn't it safe to assume that the Sumerians, like other inhabitants of ancient civilisations, were significantly shorter than we are today. Therefore the Nibiruians may not be dissimilar in size to us if they were desscribed as 'tall but not giants'. Just a thought.

I have been reading these forums for ages without registering but this topic has inspired me to post. Just an idea for the centre-piece: a stream running off into the distance with a white stone archway straddling it. On the front and back of the archway is engraved the symbol that we come up with. Hopefully this would give us something unique to focus on whilst the stream would provide  context for the scene.
