First, your english is better than some people I know here, so all good. 

That's quite the experience!  It sounds like while you were down there in the darkness you opened your mind to the non-physical a bit and that's what you heard.  It was more likely a voice from within which was a reflection of your fear of the darkness. 

I'd suggest just sitting down there and exploring that a bit and see what happens.  Just know that you are perfectly safe and nothing is going to harm you from the non-physical. 

Oh damn.  I was never a big fan of what he taught, I always felt he focused too much on the negative... when there really wasn't much negative to begin with.

But this is coming from left field.  :/

If I remember correctly, wasn't it even him who coined and described the very term which is a namegiver for this forum -'Astral Pulse'? (I could be wrong on this though.)

I actually don't know that one!  I know that Adrian and Robert created and ran the forum together for several years before the falling out happened.  Kinda sad really, there was so much potential there - as one can clearly see from the 25 years the Pulse has been active.

This is saddening. 

I've had to remind some people over on reddit lately that it's great to have an open mind, but don't keep it so open that it falls out!  haha

Xanth did a phenomenal job over many years keeping the public side of the forums running notwithstanding many issues, not the least of which were spam/bot accounts which would otherwise have overwhelmed the forums.

I am certain now that these forums are hosted on a great hosting service, one which I also use for my own website, excellent server infrastructure running the very latest backend software, and the latest forum software, together with Xanth's excellent technical expertise, it will all run much more smoothly.

Yes, although I had Linux cron jobs setup to frequently backup the database, I was away for a while during which time a major database corruption occurred in the error logging table which had a 4Gb limit. I fixed the table and truncated the error log to get everything back online. I also then added a cron job to truncate that table every day to ensure it would not happen again, which it hasn't. Unfortunately however the existing backup schedules did not extend to the period I was away, so all I could do was restore the most recent backup. I then extended the scope of the auto-backups.

Well although I created the forums and kept it running including over several major platform, server and Linux migrations and generally kept things running behind the scenes for over 20 years, despite ever increasing server and software incompatibilities which could not be resolved with the data centre it was hosted with, I recently handed over the reigns to Xanth who did, and is doing an exceptional job in migrating, upgrading and managing the forums for which I am grateful.

And a big thank you very much to you, sir. 

I've got a cron job running every single night to backup the database, so we'll hopefully never have a big loss of data ever again.

Although, that loss was probably one of the only times we ever lost anything.  That's a job well done, if I ever seen it.

It seems to me that "exit techniques" only serve to be a change of your focus.

All projection is essentially phasing.  When one gets the vibrations and then has the misguided notion to change to an exit technique, all they're really doing is simply changing focus to a new method.

Say you use the Noticing Exercise to get to the vibration point, then you switch to rope method as a way to "separate" from your physical body - all that is saying to me is that you're still phasing, you've just changed your focus. 

Instead of doing that, just stick with the same focus you used which initiated the vibrations to begin with and you'll naturally trigger the projection reflex.  The difference might be in WHERE you end up, be it a known location - like your bedroom - or an unknown location somewhere else.

Thoughts?  Does that even make sense?  LoL

As for the subject... I don't really think anyone discovered it - it's always been there, people just need to get their intellect out of the way. 

We have one of these therapy clinics nearby me as well - I've always wanted to give it a go.

You had, in my opinion, a really low lucid awareness... almost not though, since while you were doing things you know you can do in a dream, you didn't really sound like you noticed that you WERE non-physical. 

Really fun though. 

Oh hmmmm... yes, that's kinda strange.

We get a lot of bots browsing for some reason - I ban entire IP ranges of them and then a few months later they switch to a new one, but I feel like that's not really the issue here.

Perhaps the SMF team will have a patch for it eventually. 

But yeah, other than hiding the view count, there isn't much I can do about it sadly. 

Actually, that happens from time to time - I don't believe there's a fix for it. 
I've written long posts before and then hit submit and that pops up.

No idea why it happens or how to fix it.  Hopefully, the SMF team will have a patch for it soon.

I wanted to explore the notion that we are "created in the image of god", because I don't think for a second it means what most "religious" people think it means.  I believe most religious people believe this means that god looks like us - head, two arms, two legs, etc.

I believe it means the exact opposite and also means that we are much more powerful than most people want to even consider.

To say that we are created in the image of god, means the spiritual part of us - which I identify as being what we REALLY are - a small bit of consciousness we call an "awareness".

To me, it means that, since we are part and parcel of consciousness that *WE* are gods.  We are creators of this world as much as any other being which inhabits this world.

What are your thoughts on that statement?  "Created in the image of god"?

Just curious to what we projectors think about this concept.

My advice is never watch or read the so called "news" which is nothing but a projection of fear, not Love. Focus instead on your own universe - we create our own reality - and only on Love, never fear

OMG yeah... the news is the source of probably 80% of my mental health degradation.

In the end, everything we experience is part of consciousness.  Whether another species is coming into this reality to "study" us or we end up projecting to somewhere else... in the end, it's all consciousness exploring itself.

What I'd suggest is to just simply find a technique or method which resonates with you and give it a try for a few weeks.  Then when you've got some questions, pop back and ask.

And work on meditation - that's the foundation upon which everything else is built.
