Ah! I have found my entertainment for the rest of the evening!
Looks good enough, pretty obvious the writter/director is familiar with AP.

Hallo FilipeF

The visuals that you posted bring to my mind two possibilities.
1) Maybe you were in a tunnel or vortex of some kind. It sort of looks like some of the descriptions of tunnels of light that people occasionally travel through while out of body.
2) You might have been on one of the higher "astral planes" that are mostly made up of higher vibrations of light and energy. I have had a couple OBEs that were true astral projections to higher astral planes and I saw similar patterns of light there.
Just a though or two.

Regards  8-)

Hello and thanks for the analysis.
I dont think it was a higher plane because by this time in my projection my senses were already feeling very dreamy, while I was still 100% conscious of what I was doing, things simply didnt feel as solid as when I began the projection in the RTZ and walked around my apartment.

I can relate to the first part of your analysis though, as I walked towards my window trying to exit the apartment I managed to take off, I found myself fast traveling to different scenes, when I stood in one for a brief moment I was again transported elsewhere and so on. The rendition above was my final destination. I felt vibration coming out of that large monolithic structure (like the buzzing you hear in sci fi movies when a large ship is moving through), I woke up from it very very smoothly without any sleep paralysis feeling which is strange in my experiences.

So I had an interesting projection this morning. Being my longest until now, it ended with me skipping through various types of scenery, few of them familiar.

Being quite experienced with photoshop I tried to recreate the visuals of the last thing I saw before getting back to my body. My memory of it is probably not so perfect but I think I managed to recreate the general feel of the scene.

This is more of a curiosity I thought I'd share with you rather than trying to find a meaning to it.
I think I'll try and recreate every interesting scene I get from projections from now on.

So, do you often see this kind of imagery in your projections?

This is also my biggest problem so far. When I have astral blindness, which is pretty much everytime I achieve separation, I try so hard to open my eyes that I end up opening my real eyes ruining the projection.
You might also want to try some of these:

Untill now counting to 20 fast works for me. If I'm not awake I'll get confused and wont manage to count very well, which will make me aware of my state.

Great news... I think I did it this morning.

Woke up in the morning then fell asleep again about two times. Somehow I found myself in sleep paralysis, this was smoother than the others, the vibrations were very light, actually pleaseant.
I followed CFT's advice and controlled my breathing for a second, then I just felt very light, I thought this was the moment and it was, I lean my head and arms up and the exit is smooth as silk. I try to open my eyes and I see my room as it is in reality but not completely clear, things were still a bit cloudy.
I messed around with my limbs, I could touch and feel the upper part of my physical left hand with my astral left hand. I also touched my dog (he sometimes sleeps besides me) and felt his fur, he didn't seem to notice. Then I decided it was enough for now and I lean back to my body, it took a few seconds to finally reentry but I did.

I cant believe how smooth everything went, I feel I could've done much more and I plan to go further next time.

@CFT: In answer to your question, I never had one until now, but I had two vivid false awakenings since I started meditation, which was something I never had before. I'm also relatively young (19) and not in a hurry to explore the astral. I do find it quite fascinating though.

I've never had lucid obe in my life but sometime ago I started to train meditation and getting interesting results.
Those results have been getting better but I stopped doing it because for personal reasons I dont think I'm ready to explore this further yet.

However something has been happening this week, in the moments after I wake up my body is very easy to slip into sleep paralysis and I feel the vibrations as if my astral body wants to get out.
It starts with a feeling of pressure in my ears (as if I'm underwater) accompanied by a low tone ringing, then full sleep paralysis and the vibrations. It all happens in a few seconds and sometimes it takes me by surprise, I never let myself go further because of that.
Nothing abnormal happens during my daily life,it's just those moments when I'm still resting in my bed after waking up.

Should I just let myself go next time? Could it be that I'm a natural at this? I'd like your opinions and advice.  :-)

Ah thanks, the skipped beat while the heart rate goes down does sound like what I experience sometimes. But was there any specific test that confirmed the condition? Shouldnt my EKG have confirmed that?

Go to the doctor and get an EKG.  I had the same thing, assumed it was heart chakra because it only happened when I was relaxing, until my hubby listened to my heart while it was happening.
It turned out to be an 'early beat', which is not really dangerous (at least for me), but can get freaky when it feels like your heart is trying to escape out of your chest.  When I was having another test (an echocardiogram, to rule out physical abnormalities) the tech told me that a lot of people don't realize they have this until they start to cultivate meditation, because it raises awareness in a relaxed state, and it's more noticeable when reclining or laying down, due to the closeness of your face/neck to your chest.
Now it's just an interesting thing, no big deal.
But if there seems to be a physical problem it's best to rule it out before something happens.

I see, I once had palpitations before trying any of this... made EKG and blood tests but not echocardiogram. Everything was fine and the doc concluded that it was probably just stress from school exams.
So if it does turn out to be early beat how do you deal with it?

This has been my biggest issue aswell since I've been trying OBEs, which have been only a half dozen serious tries. However I feel I'm slowly getting better at controlling it.
The heart racing starts when I get that spinning and groggy feeling in my head and after the body is numb.
I've managed to bypass this once by using the "cellphone technique" that was posted in this forum which made me jump right to full sleep paralysis, but even the cellphone technique only worked once.

The heart beats feel very very real but peculiar too, they seem to come more strongly from the center of your chest instead of your left side where the heart is.

First of all I never self induced an obe, but oh my this technique...
Tried it this morning just a couple of minutes ago and just had to come write it up.
I spend a lot of time on the computer so I started to imagine the mouse in my hand while staying still and layed on my side. Within maybe less than 10 seconds I was already having full sleep paralysis kicking in, not just numb body, I couldnt move any more, in 10 seconds.... can you beleive that? I also had a big sensation of pressure in my ears, it all took me by surprise so I forced myself out by altering my breathing without going further.
When I felt the sleep paralysis I didnt focus too much on the mouse but I did notice my grip on it was pretty solid.

I reckon it's pretty normal, and called hypnagogic hallucinations. I haven't AP'd yet aswell (getting close to it) but I heard plenty of voices after a false awakening I had yesterday while taking a nap.
Also, first post :).
