last night i was trying to see my aura in the mirror, i can always see the etheric very quickly but never anything else, any way, only a few secs into trying a red, dense ball appeared next to my head about the size of a peach, it had a green outline. i was a little freaked so i blinked hard, looked again and it was still there but in opposite colours. anyone know or think they know? or seen anything similar?

hi, can anybody help? yesterday i tried to obe, ive tried hundreds of times but always given up, this time i felt a little more educated (after joining this site!) it was strange, after a long time of lying in bed and trying the rope technique, i couldnt imagine the rope, or the rubber arms or to be honest anything else! then my arms and hands felt tingley, then hot and a little painfulit felt like they had twisted around, but i knew they hadnt, they felt very heavy then my lower legs started to do the same. i led there for ages trying to make them lift or sink, anything! it just got more and more uncomfortable until i got pins and needles! was i close? can anyone help me go further? thanks

please can somebody tell me more? i desparately want to see auras but need advice on my third eye, what is it? how do i open it? simple terms pls!! blessed be xx

i cant get out there yet but im a beleiver! if i didint beleive in anything i couldnt do then i dont think id beleive in anything at all! [:I] la foret mauve, i read your other post, i think it was about being disturbed while trying to exit? same happens here, im sure my family 'know' and subconiously stop me! i once got so far i was sure i was just exiting when i heard a womans voice call 'heellllooooooooo' at that exact moment the baby screamed 'mummy!' in a frightened voice. this i m,ust admit put me off for a while but ill prob try again later! i think that answers the question!

i lucid dream ocassionally 2, its the coolest. only prob is i often dislike what is happening (in the dream) so i change it, but im a perfectionist and the dream rarely finishes cos i mess about fine tuning 1 small part. does this make sense? please add if u have any idea wot im on about.

can you be more specific? like what kind of entity? sorry, i appriciate your answer but id love to hear more. thanks vikram

ive dreamed like that for as long as i can remember (lucid) but didnt think there was anything in it till i joined this site and read the posts. i just assumed everybody dreamt like that. the one that sticks in my head the most is my most recent one. i was with a freind (he actually died early this year) we were at somebody elses funeral and were both upset, and holding each other, i knew i was dreaming and at 1 point i made myself run home to get changed because i felt outfit wasnt suitable for a funeral! the dream lasted for hours until i could hear my phone ringing (in the dream)but knew it was my alarm clock. i woke up, turned it off went back to sleep and the dream carried on. i was trying to ask my freind things about his death and were he was but it was like my dream self was ignoring me and not saying anything, he then brought up the subjects himself. do you think there is more to this or was it a concoction of my imagination, telling me what i wanted to hear? please help

thanks for that, i wondered if it was lucid but i havent read into it yet. it doesnt happen all the time but when it does im usually dreaming about a very close freind who died un expectedly early this year. is this my way of meeting him? can lucid dreaming be easily induced? if so how? thanks

thanks, im sorry if i seemed ungrateful before, what you just said makes sense now. and thanks for that. please if you can tell me more then do so, i havent really looked into dreams before, i mentioned this 1 because its the most prominent and ive had it for as long as i can remember. xx

i wholey agree with the above, i may not know a lot about psychics or obe but i have smoked from the age of 12, because i want to. that is the only reason. it makes ME feel good, as for it helping you to relax, well I feel more relaxed afterwards but thats because im addicted and have just given my body what it craves. my advice? dont start, its pointless and costs a fortune, if on the otherhand you feel incomplete and this will complete you then do it. its your choice but i think its totally irrelevent to the astral world.

isnt that were the guardian angel thing comes from? my granny taught me that a guardian angel is an energy which is made by one seeking protection.(unfortunately thats all she said!)

mockiboo, at 8 yrs old did you know what had happened to you? if not how old were you when you became aware the astral planes? sorry, questions questions! its just, i started reading about it at 14, all of a sudden everything kinda made more sense than all the bible stuff id been taught, which was great, until others found out! freinds and family made fun of me calling me "freak" so i left my books and forgot all about it until a few weeks ago. As a child a had a recurrent 'dream' were i set off running down the landing and when i reach the stairs i lift up and float to the bottom, when i reach the bottom i always woke with a bump! and with my heart pounding. i had this dream again a few weeks ago, it triggered other memories, hence, i found this site! is this a dream?   please anyone add anything you can to this. thanks

ok, this book sounds great but im poor so ive downloaded it (well impatience had a lot to do with it!) only thing is i still havent received the password and my impatience is growing!! grrrrrrr! has anyone read the tom chalko book on auras? im thinking about buying it but id like some reviews first. i dont have much luck with the books i buy!
