I've heard a few ideas but I find the idea on the purpose of life found at the end of Final Fantasy 9 sort of intriguing. It's idea is that the purpose of life is to die. This turns into anxiety, which turns into, fear, which turns into anger, then hatred.

What do you think the purpose of life is?

If you're into quantum metaphysics then you really should check out the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.

The Dark Tower series takes place in the future but in an eerie past type setting. The main character, Roland, The Gunslinger, is chasing his antagonist, the man in black, through this odd world leaving many that he meets dead.

You find out why I recommended this book for quantum metaphysics if you finish the book. I don't like to give away the end.

A lot of times I will be getting to go to sleep in my bed, I'll be just about asleep when suddenly I'm jolted awake. I don't know why or even if this partains to this discussion but if anybody could answer it would be appreciated. It just annoys me not knowing "why?" about these things.

a few nights ago i was laying in bed when this extremely realistic vision of someone holding their hand out to me and whispering "John" (my name) I could actually hear it say it. not just in my head, I could HEAR it. i opened my eyes cuz it startled me.

I can say that I'm a christian but, as you said, there are too many types too be just one so I don't really have a specific type. I think that as long as you know the same God as the other types of christianity that's all that matters. You're definitely right about God being the the only deciding factor and that there really is now true meaning of life.

It's really unreal to flare up like in movies but YES energy CAN be visible to the naked eye!

   I know energy can be seen to the naked eye. I'm sorry you must have mistook my explanation. I meant that flaring up like in DBZ or Yu Yu Hakusho doesn't exist. And for the visibility of the ball, it is impossible not to be able to control the visiblility of the aura because the aura always has a colour it it's just the person looking for it that needs to learn to see it. You can't make energy visible, you have to learn to see it unless you were born with the natural ability of auric vision.

Don't worry about things like cryokinesis. Although the body training that many people talk about for cryokinesis is oddly amusing because training yourself to withstand the cold is very good training. Alright now where was I... Oh yeah, keep practicing man you'll get it.

  Secondly don't even bother trying to make a visible energy ball cuz I can tell you from experience it just doesn't exist. The feeling you get when you try to make an energy ball is really just the travel of Ki,Qi,Chi through your chakras. Chaos isn't really something we don't understand. If you want to make it real general chaos is anything that's not perfect.

  Infinite, I think, is really mainly a word to describe a number beyond our comprehension.

  I am a christian and believe in the christian God. But according to certain scientific theories the unverse is expanding. I mean "expanding" in a sense that all of the many many stars and planets are slowly spreading out.

  This in turn leads to the theory (I forgot the name) that states that nature favors chaos, which is a very interesting theory from my point of view. It means that all things will eventually be destroyed. And also when trying to build something that is perfect it will be at the cost of more chaos. Think of it as building a wooden house. In the end the house may be outstanding, impenetrable, it doesn't decay, in essence the perfect house. But then look at what you had to destroy in order to build such a house.

  Everything in our mortal world has an end. Which is why some people believe that the purpose of life is to die. Because one way or another you will reach the ultimate slumber.

  I don't know any of this for a fact. I just tell what I've heard or believe to try and make some sense of this reality.[]

Energy is the very life that sustains our being. It eminates from us, allows us to grow(mentally and physically) and is under any believers control.

How do I define energy?...

The truth is there really is no absolute meaning of energy. To most it is still a controversal theory. Energy is the power that gives and takes lives. It is the power that allows astral projection or ethereal travel. It flows through us and over 300 chakras that connects the system of Qi, Chi, or Aura. Whatever you like to call it.

Energy is a 6 letter word. [8D] And that's the truth... Or is it?
