Hi everyone, I decided to register since I've been reading the forums and the subject of obe and ap for about a year now. On and off I've been trying techniques and had some symptoms, but no obe yet. I think it's because I should try it in the mornings more with 'indirect' methods rather than in evenings and afternoons with direct methods, e.g. try it after waking from sleep or a nap instead of after being awake for a whole day.
Anyway, ontopic: Ive been having loads of (semi-)lucid dreams ever since getting interested in OBE/AP. I havent done anything special other than read about the subject. Its probably caused because of the simple awareness of the phenomenon, it must have caused me to learn to recognize the state and thus, becoming lucid more often.
For who is interested I must add: the chance of becoming lucid at least doubles for me, if I try to go as far into body asleep/ mind awake before really going to sleep (or just meditate, focus on blackness, etc.).
Its practically ALWAYS caused by anything that has to do with gravity: I am either falling down to the ground real fast (its not scary, its a nice feeling actually), or im flying straight up real fast, or im just flying through the sky horizontally. But my problem is, as soon as I get lucid and become aware, I start to focus on my environment (I do this subconsciously) and because of that, it disappears! Then I usually wake up. I must add that I'm not 100% lucid, more like 50% lucid, because I cant think as clear like I can when im awake, and its usually afterwards that I can reflect on what I did, and not during the lucid dream.
So my question is, how can I use a lucid dream to go OBE/AP without waking up as soon as I become semi-lucid.
