Hmmm, coming from the point of view of an immortal supreme being I am not sure if I should encourage the wanton activation of the sixth charka. I remember the last time I opened my third eye, when I killed the god of love, Kamadeva. Now that was a mess, let me tell you, and boy, was his wife ticked. It was his own silly fault, of course, kept zinging those pesky arrows at me while was trying to meditate. I gave him three chances, but no, he wouldn't take them, something about some demon somewhere who was tormenting all the known universe and who could only be killed by my kid. So, I incinerated him, one good blink of the third eye and the dumbass was nothing but ash. Yeah. Good times.
But as I said, his wife, Rati, was, well, more than a little upset. So I had to fix everything, again. However, I did get my wonderful wife Parvati and my valiant son Kartikeya out of the whole silly situation, so I shouldn't complain too much. Regardless of that though, let this be a cautionary tale of the troubles that even beings as evolved as myself can get into when we play around with forces that require so much respect.

Greetings everybody, this is my first post and I am very happy to have found this interesting and interested community while I was doing some pleidian research. I have just returned home to Florida after doing some pretty potent energetic healing work at my original home in the Findhorn Foundation, and now am looking forward to getting some more Work done where it really needs it, Florida is a deep dark swamp in more ways than one.
Tenacious, thank you for that link to the Chakra site, the information is a little different than I'm used to, but the music is great, I'm listening to it right now. Does anyone know what the tune is, is it Michael Nyman?
T Kman, I would echo rodentmouse in suggesting that it is quite likely that it is tension that is closing you down, and the more you try to force it the harder it will be to relax. Also I had the inspiration that it might be a good thing for your thrid eye to be closed right now. While I was reading your post I recieved an image of a chrysillis, so it might be that your pituitary gland is in a period of evolution and just needs to grow into it's new wings. Relax, be patient, and enjoy, there's no rush, we've all been here before, and will be again.
