It was shocking as well to see how in china the government plants trees on the old pyramids there to hide and destroy them.  I do hope that mankind is sufficiently advanced enough that by the time we are able to explore the vast frozen antarctic continent that anything we find there will be shared with all.

I received this book for my birthday this year and thought it was an amazing read. Its certainly a unique view although I wished it was more in depth with the actual experiences he had while brain dead.  Still I suggest everyone got out and read it.   So many NDE and mediums share similar experiences its hard to believe there is some global conspiracy or its all tricks of the brain anymore though, this is what I used to believe.  Now a days I know better

reading this reminded me of my first OBE years ago.  I was busy concentrating on my heartbeat and then suddenly I was floating out in space and the sound of my heart was gone! I thought I was dead, hehe!

When I finally woke up from my heart attack (double bypass) I could not speak but was asked if there is anything I needed.  I had to spell out MP3 on my blanket which my wife finally understood.  I don't remember much else from that time,  but I was up and walking the next day. I had so much pain and that music was such a wonderful thing for me when I needed to heal.  Music is a wonderful healer.

I agree with the "psychic vampires" theory and once you identify who and what these people are doing, its much easier to avoid their effects.  Send them back the opposite positive emotions and they seem to quickly move on to other easier prey.

Fanatics will often disgust your average rational humans into ignoring their otherwise good advice.  Although I still consume milk and meat, I have greatly cut down my intake over the years and hope to eventually cut these from my diet completely, if and when I can afford better foods and find better alternatives.  10 years ago, the selection of vegetarian foods was almost non-existent and what you could find would instantly cause gag reflexes to kick in.. (hehe).  But, now having many family members who have decided to stop eating meat (mostly the buddhists) and having tried a lot of the new vegetarian foods out there (sausages, nuggets, stir-fry soy steak all yummy!), I can honestly say if you can afford it, you won't suffer much!  Lately I'm eating much more beans and rice and preparing my food, also havent had fast food in many months!   Sadly, the shocking claims made by the fanatical vegans and vegatarians over the years is probably the number one reason I haven't started sooner, as these people don't seem to realise their confrontational hate speech against those meat eaters is only going to strenthen their resolve to eat more meat.  I can't count the amount of times I've thought to myself "damn those veggies sound like a bunch of crazy people! (which happened again today reading this thread).  hehe. 

My advice,  keep your cool.  Share your knowledge without insulting everyone who doesnt think as you do.  Without them you wouldn't be you.

SGU was basically the only regular show I've watched in the last few months, and I've been enjoying it more than I did the first season of Atlantis.  Those musical moments drive me nuts when everyone is having an emotional breakdown at once and some pop rock song starts playing.... gah!  Besides for that, its been a fun ride and I look forward to the next season.  The only other show I look forward too at the moment is Caprica.

I was able to get to F21 (3D blackness by monroe standards) from a lucid dream several times by finding a mirror and walking or floating into it. I did this several times and it has been my only way, so far, to make it to astral projection from a lucid dream.  I experience no vibrations or buzzing when using this method.

That was quite the awesome experience you had there!  What caused it? Have you had similar experiences since?  Much is as I believe things to be as well.  Congrats!

If anyone is on EFnet, I've been idling in #astral_projection for many years and recently found a bunch of people in #obe. I've been doing the IRC for years, maybe I'll swing by your channel soon

When I was younger I had many experiences with sleep paralysis, I would wake up but not be able to move my body, I would try to scream for my mother but I could only barely whisper and wiggle a finger or two.  I started to get used to the feeling but then it happened once where my room was all bathed in red light and I saw shadows running around.  It really freaked me out.  I think that was my last time.  A few times I think I was having an OBE but I didnt know anything about OBE at the time.  My mother always said I was just dreaming. Heh!  Although frightening, these are great learning experiences.

Next time it happens if you can control your fear, you are basically in a perfect "body sleep mind awake" state that sounds like its perfect to OBe from.  I am trying every day to achieve this state from meditation!  You are very lucky . Read the Frank Kepple posts for the best info available today about OBE/AP!

LoL, I think most children go though a phase where they are in a very good mental position to begin learning and exploring higher levels of consciousness, It is a shame so many parents fail them at this critical time by not encouraging or explaining to them rationally what is going on either due to ignorance or inability. 

Have more faith in our children and try to be mature enough to not make personal attacks against everyone who disagrees with you.
