You say you are better on windy days which makes me think it's just the wind. Have you tried cloud bursting? That should be easy for you, then you can make video & post it here for proof.

I haven't tried cloud bursting actually i didn't even know what it was until now but yeah I can try it at some point when I have time and when there aren't a lot of people around(I'm pretty self conscious,I don't want people to think I'm crazy when I'm outside pointing at a cloud. High school rumors start fast and I've been kind of on the DL, I like it that way, that is, unless i bring my little sister and pretend we're looking at clouds just for the fun of it lol) but how do you post videos on this thing?

No thanks, I think my decision is made up. I still think you're wrong, but then thats just my opinion so whatever, you can't change my opinion, thats just the way it is. Actually I've never heard the term aerokinesis before now.  It's good for describing what you can do though.  The term I was familiar with was psychokinesis - the ability to move matter with the mind.  I like aerokinesis in your case though because it implies your connection with the element instead of the actual matter.  There are so many kinesis terms though that I guess it doesn't really matter what you call it.  Haha.  What exactly do you mean by two "types" of people who have aerokinesis?  The two people I mentioned were just two different people who could move things mentally, not two different types of people.  I saw one levitate a chair for a second before getting a massive headache and the other accidentally made a shaving razor fly off the bathroom counter and break against the wall.

Hi TGPizcool.  Don't let ether bother you.  There are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum, but it also has a few who like to argue and provoke.  When my best friend was in grade school she used to absentmindedly roll her pencil around on her desk without touching it and never thought anything of it until years later when she realized that most people can't do that. Haha.  The world is full of amazing people and their gifts are just as varied and unique as them.  You seem to have a natural affinity with wind, the concept of wind (the element of wind) rather than the material air itself.  I say this because of how you described using your ability.  It's very difficult for you to manipulate it in a still environment where the elemental concept is less detectable.  It seems that the more wind there is the better you can affect it, like you build on the momentum.  If you ever feel down just remember; You're a very rare person.  I've only met two people in my whole life who can actually affect matter mentally.  I don't know if you'll find somebody who has the exact same situation as you because psychic abilities aren't fixed like "superpowers" in movies.  They change and grow or diminish with the person over time, just like your thought processes and your body.  It takes confidence, familiarity, expectancy and a calm mind to explore and develop your own personal abilities.  I wish you luck.  And I absolutely love that Nickelodeon cartoon; Avatar.

ah I see, I don't wish to start anything but I disagree. You are very smart indeed and experienced way more experienced than me but I've realized now that you don't believe in what I believe in. You have a totally different outlook on life than I do. I want there to be peace too, and I do want to end poverty, as a matter of fact I told myself that if I were to ever win big money or become wealthy I would donate to charity, I wouldn't use any of it selfishly for myself. I cherish every soul on this earth even if it is evil, I pity the evil actually,like this thing we call the devil if he exists, I pity him too. Everyone has good in them just some are shown such negativity that they become even worse. If we were to show the most evil person or thing that someone really cares that would give a little light to their soul, and I know it. hey mate in case ya hav'nt noticed their are crises at hand associated with wind it's called cyclones/tornadoes/hurricanes and they are a crises due to the fact they have the ability to have a mass destruction side to them as well as costing billions of dollars in damage it also cost masses amounts of life...ya may have heard of hurricane Katrina...i got to tell ya if ya could do this the governments have access to the information regarding such events unfolding, if ya don't like governments as i don't , i sure ya could get info off the computer on the vast amounts of weather sites and of course i'm assuming ya watch TV being a 15 year old just maybe not the news
i'm sure the money saved from destructions could be spent in the area/s of say preventing poverty and the like...or ya could get payed for it ya could help end poverty. because the ONLY way one gets to be able to have such abilities is to have a full understanding of the meaning of life and be living this fact period...if ya dont live this ya don't get to have these abilities

Well Thats alright I appreciate that you expressed your opinion honestly. It's okay that you don't believe me and I may not know as much as you do and I apologize if I offended you in any way but I do know a decent amount. I'm only 15 I still have a LOT to learn and i believe with all of my heart that I have some sort of ability, and I'm going to do everything I can to get better, no matter what anyone says, including you. And the way one gets to have such abilities is not by having a full understanding of the meaning of life it's by learning it, and my friend I will honestly say I haven't learned a lot yet but I am currently learning now, and I WILL learn all that I need to in time, thank you.

I envy your natural gift! You're like an airbender fromIf I had that gift, I'd be one of the happiest campers out there haha. I'm not sure why you've been given your power, and I'm sure there are people on this forum that can provide the possibilities, but unless you find a more experienced person with the same power, it's up to you to learn to practice. Can you create gusts of wind in any environment including indoor & outdoor? You should watch Avatar from nickelodeon. It's a children's program, but certain people in the story have the ability to control the 4 elements of earth, water, wind, & fire. There's even a part where the main character has to undergo the process of opening his chakras (which I find ironically fascinating considering so much of the show can be compared with things on this forum). Anyways, in the story, in order to learn to master their element, they must learn discipline, control, and compassion. Maybe you can relate and learn from the show. Just a suggestion

Thanks for your suggestions and I have seen Avatar The Last Airbender. I can make gusts of wind outdoors but inside I can't really do it. I have tried it before on a light object like the blinds in my room, but you have to concentrate really hard and sometimes it takes a while to get it and when I finally do, It moves a little to the point that you could kinda notice it but no big gust. If the fan is on in my room I sometimes practice on my drawings hung up on the wall of my room. Paper is very light so it's pretty easy to make it move. I also sometimes open the window of my room and bring the air inside by using the hand gesture you'd use to tell someone to come here. Once it's in I start experimenting on different objects, not like bricks and really heavy things(I need waaay more practice in order to do that) When I'm outside I can  make the wind move the trees thats the easiest thing to make move outdoors. I also sometimes find something light on the sidewalk like a leaf or wrapper and make it move or change direction. The days that I love the most is windy days, thats when I can make huge gusts of wind. It is so much easier to control everything and sometimes it just happens without me even trying. I remember not too long ago I was walking outside and every time I walked by a bush or something a gust of wind would blow on it or the wind would circle around me which I love it's the greatest feeling ever. A couple times I've even made mini twisters with leaves and stuff on the ground but I can only do that on windy days right now and it takes a while. One pretty interesting thing I can do is make trees move when I'm indoors.I just stand by a window and look at a tree or use hand gestures and it works. The wind also reacts without me even trying to my feelings, when I am angry at someone it does two things it either blows really hard or completely stops. When I am happy it blows hard too but not the vicious kind of gust that happens when I am angry it is more like an energetic relaxing one. The way that I control things is by, concentrating(meditating, staring at one certain thing), physical movements(usually arm or hand movements),or even verbally(telling it to come and stop) It is much harder to stop the wind once I have started it but eventually I am able to do it, I have to say Calm down sometimes more than once but it soon stops. One thing I have learned just from experience is that you have to be patient. If you get angry or annoyed it won't work. But yeah those are the things I am able to do with aerokinesis.

why didnt ya say this earlier to the governments ya could have prevented the recent cyclones...i would have thought those that witnessed your abilities would have told others and that would of grown into more people being aware of your abilities and so on as you say you could prove it, i'm sure the governments would love for someone to stop disasters associated with wind

I don't want to involve the government really..unless there was a world crisis or something and they needed help, I want to help people if it's possible with my powers. I don't want to be rich and all of that junk plenty of people need that way more than I do and it would make me feel like a terrible person.I just want to find my purpose,and yes you would think that my friends would have told other people. I don't think they did otherwise there would of been random people knocking on my door and asking me about it.I haven't seen them since 5th-6th grade, so in 3 years. But I do talk to some of them on Facebook, rarely. The only friend that ever mentioned it was Amanda who was Water in the group that we used to have and when we first started talking on facebook she mentioned it...but I don't think she really believed it anymore...She said, " Remember in 5th grade? PR's haha. Water, Wind, Earth, and Fire? XD GOOOOD TIMES." she never mentioned my powers...maybe she didn't believe I really had them...I mean it has been 3 years but it kind of makes me sad that she would laugh about it.

Well I didn't exactly know what aerokiness was when I was little obviously. All I knew was that if I told the wind to go it went and if I told it to stop it stopped. I didn't really think much of it at first I mean I was only like 7 when I discovered it while playing,"Magical Princess" with my best friend Kera. It felt kind of normal to me, like it was just there kinda like school or something, so I didn't hide it at first. In 5th grade I told my friends about it and showed them. They thought it was amazing! We even started our own little group of water Earth Fire and air and we were all assigned elements. They would always become frustrated when they weren't able to control the element they wanted to and they all looked up to me to show them but I didn't know how to, it just happened, so our little group didn't last long. I remember when one of my other friends didn't believe me and told me to prove it. I approached her and as i did a huge gust of wind came and blew on her. She freaked out and ran away, so that didn't make me feel too good. I thought my power was cool but obviously to some it wasn't. I remember when I told my parent's about it, my mom just laughed, the kind of laugh a parent would make if they thought something their kid was doing was cute.My dad thought it was ridiculous and always put me down about it and teased me to the point where he made me think that I couldn't do it and thats when I kind of shutdown and didn't show anyone anymore. I was always afraid to be judged or afraid that it wouldn't work and I would make a fool of myself. I still think that at times. Although this is true I try to practice frequently but sometimes my self-consciousness gets in the way and distracts me. I don't know what to do. I always wonder if there is people like me and if I will meet them, I keep searching and searching and listen intently to what people say in hopes that I will discover something and find out that they have a power like mine. I don't want to go through this on my own, not knowing what I'm supposed to do with this power, what my purpose is. I want to know my purpose... that is my number 1 goal in life and it frustrates me greatly as all these years pass and I don't get any answers. I'm only 15 years old, I don't know what to do. It's hard for me to practice because there is always someone watching me and I have no privacy in my house whatsoever, I just really need some help. How am I supposed to practice so I'll get better? How do I find my purpose?(What I'm supposed to do in this world? What is my task?)Please someone give me advice!
