Hi there everyone,

I believe in the great power of our subconscious mind, but something's been bothering me for some time. Turkish is my native/acquired language and English is my second/learned language. So, my question is: Would a subliminal message written in English be imprinted on my mind when, for example, I'm watching a video with some subliminal messages hidden in it?

What would be the case if I didn't speak English whatsoever and still watched the same video?

Thank you for your responses in advance. :-)

Hey Super Sonic,

I agree with Blis. If it's a language familiar to you then yes. Additionally if it's a language with similar sounding and looking words then on some level I would bet it would affect your subconscious mind ...

Hey Paul,

How specifically did they say they come up with 8%?

What is there evidence?

I'm not asking in a way to say they need 'irrefutable evidence,' as many things in the areas of spirituality can be pretty hard to present what a scientist would consider 'irrefutable...' however, I am still curious as to where they believe they get their information from ... even if it's a 'source,' 'entity,' or 'channeled' information ...

So I have always wondered if our 'souls/spirits' will always meet up with each other in each and every existence. Are we always drawn to certain people no matter how long it takes, do we always 'find' each other? Do you ever get that feeling that you have met somebody before. And do you wonder why sometimes when you meet someone for the first time you immediately 'click' with them like you have always known them?

Just some of my thoughts coz I believe this to be true

Take it easy x

Hi Ange,

In my personal beliefs we do tend to have 'soul family' which are people we will be more likely to see in this lifetime at some point or another. This can either be soul family that we've had through the ages and through many existences, or we could be developing new soul family. The specifics? I don't think it truly matters and we can only create ideas of how the universe works based on our own experiences ... but even our own experiences, perceptions, and beliefs are by definition, faulty based on how the mind perceives information and concludes itself. Granted, that doesn't mean we can't have fun coming up with our own theories right? :-)

Personally, I have a LOT of people in my life I consider soul family ... and people I know in my heart I have traveled with somehow in circles throughout the ages. There are many people I feel are 'soul mates' that I am very close to (and soul mates in this context is from the assumption that 'soul mate' is not a term defined only for an interpersonal relationship and only one person ... but that we have many 'soul mates' or 'soul family.')

Hey guys,

First off, hello! I'm a member of various forums and it's always great to see what other communities out there ... I just came across this one and thought I'd stop by to see what the community is like here ...

Second ...

There is someone I know and was with when they had a very frightening experience with what I believe was Astral Projection ... In fact, it was terrifying and traumatizing.

My intention in posting this is definitely not to scare new members coming to the Astral Pulse ... but to instead give them a great opportunity (as well as myself) to see responses by well experienced members who may have some great insight and ideas to settle potential 'fears' of anyone getting into Astral Projection. After all, it is a topic that's around the internet and there's a lot of people for it, but a lot of people against it, suggesting major dangers. Perhaps they're misinformed, perhaps not.

Here's what happened to a friend ...

This friend of mine is 'extremely' spiritually connected. This person often channels from what I would consider to be a direct connection to a much higher source, and has a very high spiritual connection ...

One night though this person went to bed while listening to a very deep and powerful brainwave entrainment track that she had been listening to for about a week. Each time she would listen to it she would be taken to a very deep meditative state and wake up 'completely out of it.' Usually she would listen to it during the day time, but this time it was at night ...

Usually when she would come out of the meditation she would be 'shaky,' and way 'out of it,' because of the frequency's the BWE took her brain to ...

Well, that night, she just so happened to fall asleep to the track as she was exhausted ... but she didn't just fall asleep. She slept walk down the stairs and fell on the ground, and was there for a few hours.

I found out later that she had an absolutely terrifying experience while she was 'out of it,' --- and after she awoke, her body was extremely sore ... not as if she had fallen on the ground unconsciously ... but as if she was THROWN around the room, which she described happened in this sort of 'unconscious' state.

In this state she could see the room she was in, but also saw 'entities' outside the door ...

They were very dark in nature, and ill intended.

She vowed after that night to never listen to brainwave entrainment again and it was literally traumatizing.

Any thoughts from members who are experienced with Astral projection what happened? I have no doubt from her description, and the fear she showed me, that this was not just some mere nightmare ... she was completely out of body in this experience and was in an area where there was, I suppose, a 'gateway' to other energies and levels of consciousness.

Very scary indeed.

Is there safe practices to Astral Projection? Has anyone else gone to 'scary' places before?

What is YOUR experience?

Very curious to this topic and subject I am fairly new to ...

I have been searching youtube just kind of letting my brain wander. I stumbled upon some clips of Joe Rogan talking about these isolation tanks. How does this community feel about them? What do we know about using them to achieve self awareness?

Namaste

Hey Anakin,

I'm just here to 2nd your curiosity of wanting to know more.

I don't know what the deal is with isolation tanks ... personally I get the feeling that they're not necessary to achieve whatever their outcome is ... however, I'll be the first to admit that conclusion is based off a preconceived idea about the tanks that could be completely false.

I did have a discussion once years ago with a friends step dad who, it was either him, or someone he was talking about, that went through the isolation tank in some program called 'Avatar.' You might look up on google information for Avatar ... Type in 'Avatar Self Realization' --- I really don't know anything about them and don't even know if 'self realization' goes with the term, but that's what came out of my subconscious, lol. It could be related to them or not. It might be a good place to find out more though if they do indeed use the tanks.

Hey Everyone,

Though I'm new to this forum, I'm not new to most all things spiritual ...

However, one thing I haven't delved into deeply is the concept of Chakras.

For people who are very new to the concept, what would you teach them?

Let's turn this thread into the essential beginners guide to chakras, where new comers can come and ...

  • See the basics of Chakra's by other members ...
  • See how other members are using the knowledge of Chakras in their daily life ...
  • etc...

By no means let those bullet points limit the discussion. Keep it going with the essential thought that your post will contribute to an awesome thread full of information on what people are doing with the knowledge of Chakras and how they work ... :-)

And to start, how about someone give the basics in a nut shell of Chakras :-)

Looking forward to interacting with you all ...

Apparently, you haven't heard of The Middle Way.
It's what Buddha discovered/taught.
Maybe you should look into it.

You have a good point CFTraveler.

I think a lot of people miss this unfortunately and polar decisions tend to be made ... polar routes in life ... etc. Black & White.

The middle path is awesome in my opinion.
