I really want to do a ouija board on halloween.  The trouble is my mates don't really want to because there too scared (they watched Long Time Dead).
   Can anyone tell me how to make sure we don't attract negetive energy.  And it would be useful if you could pass on a reliable banishing spell just in case.

Hi Shadow,  I keep getting the same kind of experience when I try to AP.  The only problem is I can never quite manage to do it, I just go all shaky and have difficulty breathing.  I also have no control of my thoughts. Then I go no further and I just remain in sleep paralysis for about an hour.

Could you or any one else give me any advice on actually reaching an OBE?

I can't give you any advice, sorry.  I'm just posting this to say that the same thing allways happens to me, but instead of feeling another me I feel the presence of another thing.
Thanks for posting your thread, the reply have been interesting to read.  It's also nice to know I'm not the only one who has paralysis for hours at a time.

My house isn't haunted (though it does have a Shadow lurking around in it). But a couple of months ago I kept sensing a spirit presence and then my mum was stood out side and when she came in she told me off for going in the pantry. When I told her it wasn't me, she told me not to deny it because she'd seen me open the door walk in and then come out and shut the door. I hadn't done this and at the same time I had a very strong sense.

By the way soulfire (I also mean no offence) I already knew all of what you said and I am not intending to use it as a toy.  The fact that we are doing it on halloween is because my mum won't be questioning why I am out late at night in a village where there is nothing to do.

I don't have a problem with Lesbians, but for some reason (and I mean no offence to anyone) I don't like the fact of two men together it just seems wrong.

I'm am having trouble in finding my sexuality.  I do like boys and there's one boy I really fancy, but sometimes I feel strongly towards the female gender too.  It's really confusing for me and I'm not sure how to tell my mates.  I'd never try and push any one into anything they didn't want to do, but I'm worried they'll hate me or think I'm a freak (or something like that).  Did any one else go through the same thing cause I'd really like some advice?

I'm not sure weather they are the same thing but Shadows are forms of demons.  Also a Djinn as well as being known as a genie is sometimes called a night shadow.  I think Shadow people are most likely to be Shadows and I've encountered one on both the Astral and Physical Plain (though I think I brought it back with me whilst astral projecting) I hope I have been of some help, but I really don't know whether they are the same thing.  The word Shadow crops up in many different subjects to do with magick.

I encountered a Shadow whilst on the astral plain and also on the physical plain.  I was not under the influence of any kind of drug, I think your theory that demons may attack the weak minded is quite possible though.

I think a potatoe flashed into my mind but then I came out with a carrot. I think this may have been because I learned my 6x table from a song about growing carrots in a garden.  I was also thinking about feeding my rabbit before I did the test.

Hi, My DOB is 13th Feb (obviously making me an Aquarius)
My mates all do stuff with me but everything allways happens to me and not them (None of them are Pisces or Aquarius.  There birth dates are: 21st, 20th, 19th and 23rd).
I think you're right and there could be a connection.

Me and my mates decided to try astral projection.  We'd tried it a few times before but nothing ever happened.
   This time though it was different.  Nothing happened to anyone except me.  I was consciouse of my mates around me but I was in a forest being chased.  The thing that chased me was huge and black with red eyes.  Then it disappeared and a man was chasing me instead.  I was stabbed and my body started floating up but then one of my mates shook me and and I was kind of in my room again.
   All my mates were asking eachother if anything had happened to them, but their voices were distant and over my vision was a blur of somewhere else and the black thing was there aswell.  Then I remember that my room dissappeared again and I was being cornered by all these things.  My mates say that I was trying to get away from them except Harriet (one of my mates.
   A few weeks later (and in that time I'd been hearing voices and strange things had been happening) me and Eleanor (she was also there that night) were attacked by a Shadow (I hope everyone knows what that is) It didn't do much to Eleanor but it sat next to me and then started to strangle me.  We think it came from the Astral Plain and I can still sense it all the time but I've learned to live with it.
   Does anyone know whether it did come back with me and what it might want?
