I often hit the sweet spot. I get paralysis, I'll feel vibrations, and then everything will just stop. And i'll feel weightless. I'll try to roll out or reenact the sensation of floating (like being in an elevator), but nothing happens.

Would it be easier for me to have an out of body experience via lucid dreaming? Or am i doing something wrong when I enter sleep paralysis?

I have used Robert's tactile method on complete strangers and they have had results in minutes.

So, I think you might be doing something wrong there.

Can you focus on one part of your body at a time?

When I close my eyes, I can immediately change my focus to my toe or finger in seconds. I can normally stimulate a energy sensation there as well.

I use this technique when I do my progressive relaxation, especially when I feel pain in that area. I then focus deeper into that muscle and try release the pain.

It's all in your ability to focus!
OK, I'll focus harder, without forcing it upon myself. This time, I'll try the whole 91 day exercise with dedication. I'll update you guys every day my experiences. And maybe you guys could point out anything that's missing, or that I need to improve on.

When I try is tactile stimulation methods...I just don't feel anything. Am I doing something wrong? Should I go look for a new method.
I went on to day 8 on the program and just gave up, because Robert Bruce said you may feel sensations more so on one side than the other. I didn't feel sensations on EITHER side of my thumb, toe, leg, or whatever else.

Is it me, is his program just a bluff?

From personal experience I wouldn't recommend messing around with kundalini. let it raise naturally through spiritual practice is the safest way.
Is Robert Bruce: Mastering Astral Projection, a good book to figure out how to naturally raise your chakra levels?
I'm  on day 5.

I still use the 6 Vehram points when I do this. I use those Vehram points in my meditations as well. Focusing on them immediately starts the onset of vibrations.

I am happy to hear your success stories with this method. Todd would be as well!  :-)
Are Vehram points like Chakra Points?

It's 'doth'... 'Dost' is a second person singular present tense of the word "do"... You mean 'Doth'

So it's reading as "Xanth do speaks only his own truth"

"Xanth doth speaketh his own truth only" is a fair early english way of saying it.

"Thy dost doeth that" - "I do do that"

"he doth doeth that" - "He does do that"

"Thou doth doeth that, thou dost" - "You do do that, you do"

OK... baaaack on topic.

How do you remain focused?
How do you learn to do anything?   You practice.   :-)

Sadly, there is no magic way to learn it.   Meditation is the absolute key to Astral Projection.
Nobody wants to hear that because not many people want to put in the actual time to learn.

My perspective is to simply learn to meditate first... and astral projection will come naturally out of it.

Alright, I'll get back into meditation then.
But I have a question as well. I read that when Robert Monroe had vibrations, he put one arm out and got pulled out without even asking for help. When I got into the vibes I had both of my arms out and I asked for help. But nothing came. Then the vibes stopped and saw nothing but blackness and I felt weightless. I decided to abort my projection assuming my attempt to AP had failed.

Should I had stuck around in that meditative state a little bit longer instead of just losing intent and waking up?

You really only have one problem... Not multiple.
The one problem is your intent.   The proper intent includes the desire to remain focused.

I'll elaborate more when I'm not typing on my phone.   Lol
That's it! How can I remain focused? I'm doing reality checks right now. And i'm gonna start re-recording in my Non Physical Reality Journal.....

I've taken everyone's advice on this thread into consideration as well...

In Buhlman's books, when he gets out of his body, he says awareness now.  He demands it until it happens.
I need to figure out how to be lucid, and be aware of the situation before the dream, or projection even starts...
#11
My only problem with astral projection is simply staying focused and having the intent to project, my second biggest problem is awareness.
Many times when I attempt to project, I loose interest because I am not focused, and i'll  "black out" into a dream. And even then, i'm unaware of my dream!
Please, are there any techniques that'll help me stay focused on astral projection? Any free downloadable books I should take a look at?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Dreams! / Weird Throat Chakra Experience
November 29, 2012, 22:52:30
I will say for the record, everytime I get extremly close to projecting. My feet will float, along with my legs, and chest. But my neck always feels "stuck" for some reason.

Well anyways..... I had this dream where some asian guy in a formal military uniform had struck me in the neck. I immediatley felt pressure on my neck. And it felt like something just closed it up like a bath tub water stopper. I could not breath and fell to the ground. I remained calm and told myself that "nothing bad will happen" and sure enough, the pressure gradually faded from my neck and I was able to breath again. WHAT JUST HAPPENED???

Does my dream have any relevant correlation to my throat chakra system?

I go with coincidence. I don't believe in reptile aliens or illuminati. I will quite happily look around area 51, I simply don't buy into the "government agents are guarding the astral". If that were the case they would have found Bin Laden YEARS ago. Sorry, imo, these are all just conspiracies invented and propagated through the internet by hysteria.
Did you read my post regarding the one you quoted? I said that all of the alien BS was fabricated. They were all fake fear mongering conspiracies which people like me had feel for in the past. lol
#15
@Simo That's an old post. I researchered the people critically about their information and they all had everything fabricated. Excuse that old, dumb post of mine! :)

And to be back on topic I would visit places from back in time. Like Mesopatamia, Ancient India, Ancient Greece and Rome. I'm just so fascinated by our ancient ancestors.

That's an amazing experience! I just have trouble clearing my mind and focussing.

Hope you have many more  great experiences down the road.

Hey bigzeke!
Stookie_ and LionHeart pretty much nailed this thread. But if you still have trouble with your AP'ng then try doing it via lucid dreaming, that shouldn't be too hard. :-D

I can see my self in my mirror but im disfigured.
This happens to me like 1 time outta 10 when looking into a mirror. For me, such an even't is rather rare.
But it's completely normal, for there was a poll for this LD website and an overwhelming anount of members have said they look funny when looking into a mirror.

It will happen with a lot of practice and determination. Try programming your mind before you go to sleep to realize when you are awake, but to keep your eyes closed and body still. Say to yourself "When I AWAKEN in the morning, I will not MOVE my physical body, I will not OPEN my eyes, I will just be AWARE that I am AWAKE." Try to visualize the capitalized letters fading into the darkness before your eyes. This type of Brain Entrainment works wonders. You must stay consistent with it though.
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)
Im gonna try this method. It sounds practical.

Thanks for the read, it really connected the dots for me about your statement.

It's all in your perception.
Could you dumb that down for me :?

Amazing post, I have been trying the "hardcore" method for a little over a year now. The closest I got was astral blindness while flying at extreme speeds through the wind. I could hear and feel the wind much like being on a high speed roller coaster but MUCH more intense lol.

I had read a story a while back of a person AP'ing, when he visited his past life he was a grey alien from the Zeta Reticuli star system. And he shared LOADS of information anout his past life adventurers. My question is does everyone have a past life? And if so, why can't I remember it!?
#24
Thats a very great experience! Question, was it a native american guy or an indian subcontinent guy?
#25
I have talked about it, as usual my friends called my crazy, but I didn't loose them. In essence, people who leave you over such a discussion shouldn't even be called your friends for real though.
