Hello ...

I hope to find an experienced dreamer who is able to share some experience. Lucid dreaming came into my life when I was 15 and until now I've made many astonishing experiences - some had to do with OBEs and Astral Projections.

I did not succeed to induce a Projection directely from the waking state - even though I've practiced for about 5 years now - but I've found a way to handle this: Using lucidity to start.

In the last 4 months I wasn't able to practice much and I've probably lost much of my power ... I'm a soldier now and most of the time not able to sleep long enough to start anything. But even the few lucid dreams I've had confirmed my former experiences ...

I've discovered that my lucid dreams always go hand in hand with the phenomenom of the so called "false awakening". Everytime I'm lucid, I do not awake regularly when the time has come. It seems as if I always wake up in another dream before I awake completely. These "other" dreams are never lucid ones and look exactely like the average ones which everybody knows. They also oftenly tend to imitate the room in which I'm sleeping, so that I'm usually totally confused when I finally wake up.
If I try to project in a lucid dream I oftenly find myself again in the same position (even the same place!) after the projection ended, before I awake in the unconcious dream and later in "reality". Once I've had a chain of false awakenings which had about 5(!) stations which I recognized everytime I passed. The last station was the one in which I've found myself with the highest concoisness I've ever experienced in a dream.

Sometimes most of the later borders (the ones after the state of lucid dreaming) are not strictly devided by false awakings but I can not remember one recent lucid dream without the final FA.

Some people say that the farther you are out, the more false awakings you have - but being "farther out" must have something to do with conciousness as well if this theory is correct. I've experienced an increasement of lucidity and conciousness everytime I became lucid (of course!) and also sometimes again when I projected out of this status. Sometimes - the border between LD and projection seems to be more flexible than the one between LD and average dram.

Is anybody able to explain this ... would be interesting for me because these events just feel amazingly funky and occur so often that I cannot see them as pure products of my dreamy phantasy anymore - there has to be a "scientific" explanation ... I will do my own research on that topic after my time in the army is over (6 months remaining!) - but at the moment it's quite difficult.

Thanks and greetings from Germany!

Hello!

I had a cool experience on last sunday where i could experience about 10 dreams in one night. Many of them were lucid and one was completely new and fascinating for me.

I don't know if i should classify this one as something real because i haven't talked to the person yet...but hear for yourself.

I became concious in a big hall.Seemed as if i was standing on an airport or something.I sayd "Klarheit SOFORT!"...it is german and means almost the same as the command "Increase lucidity!".Because of that i remembered on of the aims i had before going to bed...i wanted to visit someone.
I decided to try a girl from my school who is a grade above me.I don't really know her yet.Because of the fact that i did not succeed in another dream to create a completely new environment just by darkening everything and creating it new i decided to try a trick i saw in MATRIX.

I searched and found a door and intended that it would lead to the girl earlier mentioned.I opened it and saw just a dissappointing and narrow passageway, completely coloured in a light blue with little violet elements.I could not look far because the way changed it's direction with 90° about 5 meters in front of me.I walked and the pattern of the way did not change after the corner...the way was just long, same coloured and ended in blackness.I started to walk, then i ran and finally i could not avoid to accelerate more and more. The blackness mixed with the walls and all of a sudden i found myself in a cinema hall.I sayd the "increase lucidity" command agoin because i had become a little dizzy. It helped but the envirnonment just remained in its bad quality.

"So, where is she?", I asked myself and suddely she materialized in front of me without any special effects. This is really unusual for my dreams...
I saw her and she was just standing and staring into the void.No reaction.I stepped right in front of her face and whispered her name.

It felt as if her aura would extend and i could not fight the desire to embrace her...finally did.Everything seemed to explode in a white light and her body glew in an bright orange colour.I lost conciousness and woke up.

In the next dream i became luzid while i was sitting in my bed and found myself still embracing a girl.I did not see her face but i have the strong belief that it was her.The way her skin and her body felt was very intensive, real...maybe even realer than real.

Did you have experiences like this one?I can't wait to speak to this girl...if i wouldn't be so shy...

Hey guys!
It's kinda strange because i did not find this great forum before.I think I am going to be here very often because plattforms like this are very rare.

So I'd like to introduce myself first and combine this with a little essay about interacting with dreams...I am an 18 year old student from germany who actually became interested in parapsychology when he was 5 or so.But i kinda lost contact and started dreaming again with 15.I'm not the one who writes steady dream dairies but i often have periods with much dream activity. It seems as if i can't really control when i will become lucid. It just happens when i am ready, when there's a deep intent.
At the moment it starts again...i feel i need it more than ever.I know that i shouldn't do this but dreaming has become a sort of escape for me.I live in a very small town and i created an image of myself when i was very young which doesn't fit to me anymore.Maybe you know that it is difficult for many people to accept changes.I did hardcore computergaming when i was about 16 and i can't really get rid of this image.
In May I went to an exchange trip to the USA(Oklahoma City). It changes my whole life and the whole image of myself. Here i am often compared to Danny DeVito because I'm not the talles and i thaught it was funny when the americans sayd I'd look like VanDamme*lol*I got many telephone numbers, was even more popular than the "ultimate hero" in my grade.
When i returned to germany everything went back to the old routine. This town is a dead place...well, actually dead for ME.Silence...the only thing that's even crueler than violence.

I searched and found some new friends even here but at the moment i feel that i am stuck more than ever.I did some serious remote viewing experiments i think in june which paralyzed and finylly destroyed my old picture of the world.I knew that it was true before but having a proof is even more effective than simple faith.

I actually went over many barriers...and i found some sort of repeating pattern in my dreams.First there are these dreams with all this fighting.I fight against Matrix-like agents all the time...i think they conciuosly took this symbolizm into their movies.Whatever...i often see that these agents want to keep me under control and not let me become lucid. Now i only have to see them to recognize that i am dreaming, so i often beat them up.And it seems as if they did not want me to walk in their cities...in their realities.Interesting...have you had some agent dreams?I heard this is a wide spread phenomenom.I really love Matrix but i am not really a junkie though the symbol became very strong.

The other type of dream often consist of girls. It is strange that i unsuccessfully search for a girlfriend since i am 13...but i saw that it mostly depended on my environment. So maybe these dreams are a kind of escape?Or not?I don't know how real a kiss is(i don't even know how it feels here) but the ones in my dreams are more realistic than everything i ever experienced.

Well...i think i'll soon have a CAR...this will be a solution...

[:D]

So ok...i just wanted to ask which WILD techniques you use because i don't really know any successfull ones. And i didn't really find some in the forum yet. Thanks for reading and CU!Feel free to ask me anything[:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
February 09, 2004, 03:05:45
Hi!
This can really be called a nice topic:)

I seem to be an outstanding personality, because i never thought about flying when i started to learn on how to dream lucid. Although it became very funny when i finally decided to learn it.

I found this superman-stuff not for me, so i tried to fly with another technique: I created some wings and flew with them. It was really a funny experience because it feels quite strange to have wings attached to your back...

I remember my first experience:
I became lucid in front of a swinning pool and created some pressure in my body for isolating energy. I stood there like Goku in Dragonball-Z when he tried to get some energy for his next attack. But i let it all out and saw that these wings were there.

My first tries ended in falling into the water but i quickly mastered to fly a little. Although i did not use my wings for that. I fully concentrated on moving them and finally succeeded. When i got more and more advnced i felt them as if they were really a part of my body.

It is always funny to fly with them but i discovered that human anatomy is not really made for wings. The only thing you can do efficiently is to stand still and sail a little. The whole body is just too heavy for flying faster and the legs always pull yourself down... later i kinda combinded it a little with some gravity-manipulation and it is always funny to do it...

But there are things, wich are even cooler sometimes:D Just take a look at MATRIX 2... the film really offers some amazing tricks. Just hit the floor with your fist like Neo did and imagine the molecules becoming liquid. Then you suck out all of the energy, concentrate it and shoot up into the air, like an arrow. Sometimes it got so fast that i woke up... it`s really cool[:D]

Hey!
Sorry but i wasn`t awake long enough because i just came back from my Hapkido practice and just wanted to put this thread in here...

The trick i saw in Matrix was the thing about doors in Matrix 2.They Keymaker is able to cross doors for arriving at any point in the Matrix he choses. So I decided to give it a try

Hmmm...can´t you imagine why a shy boy would chose a girl he doesn´t know? [:D]

See ya![:)]

Hello!
Thanks for your awesome method!

I just tried it on yesterday and got cool results...because of a reason i do not know i forgot to use the ribbon i usually bind around my head for creating absolute darkness....that was a big obstacle but results were amazing.

I never succeeded in relaxing completely before when i lay on my back and had to stop after about 20 Minutes because i felt highly unconfortable...but now it really seemed as if my body falls asleep and i catched myself for the first time of falling asleep and losing steady thaughts while i lay on my back. That`s something completely new for me...and don`t laugh, i practiced for nearly 3 years[8D]

Well...all of a sudden my eyes just made some problems and avoided the relaxation but tonight i think i can even get further.I`ll combine it with some sort of breath-meditation i think...

I think i even felt a pre-OBE sign...It felt as if my legs were heavily jogged by some force but it was also very short...this happened another time with another part of my body but i thaught it might have been some sort of muscle contraction...so i tried how it felt, when i would really put tension on my leg...it was totally different from what i felt so i am really optimistic.

Are these the vibrations everybody talks about?Or even something stronger?Would it be possible that these parts may have already seperated for a short amount of time?

Thanks again!

Hello and thanks foryour answers so far!

It is not that i can`t become lucid in dreams...as you may have expected i really often have dreams with a high amount of lucidity.I had my first one when i was 15...sometimes a even get 5 in one week, so this isn`t really my problem[:)]

The only problem i have with dreaming are WILDs.Maybe you understand something different but i always knew the word WILD as "wakely induced lucid dreaming"...I did it, i think for two times, but i don`t really know how i managed to get into the dream right from the waking state.

So Wiggin you sad, that i need to be aware, right?Shall i just don`t let my thaughts drift away?Do you know something exact?

[:D]Thank you![:D]
