Anyone see that interview with a famous (dont know his name) baseball player who spoke of OBE's  and the such on ESPN. He is very open about it and I guess people think hes a little crazy. It was great to see it aired on tv like that. Anyone see it, I caught it quick I wish I could have seen it again.

  Its been a while. Lately I have been having oBE's although I can never fully make it to whatever it is that is the Astral. Im usually always in my room and dont make it very far. However lately I have been talking to people. The conversations are usually forgotten and the funny thing is I talk to them so natural, its like I dont even notice that they are there. Until the other day when I finally asked the beings who they were and how I thought it was so funny that I never realize that Im talking to them until like way into the conversation. There is one good thing out of this, which shows that my fear is decreasing. Before I use to wake up due to some fast or loud energy over me that just scared me right back into my body. God sometimes I feel like a such a baby out there, haha. But anyway I would like to hear others experience with social interaction in the Astral. I also have had hands touch me and pull me out of my body, friendly as if trying to help me throught he process. Any thoughts?

Lately I have been experiencing very intense Deja'vu experiences. To the extent that I know I have either dreamed or have somehow been in the exact situation before. Does any one feel these very intense feelings and have been able to use techniques to work with them and decipher the reason behind it.

I am sorry that he has passed on. If you dont mind expanding on your experience I would love to hear more. So you met in the Astral and then decided to reunite in the physical? Was there anything that made you feel you knew eachother before, say in a past life?

   I have a kinda strange question. Does anyone believe in soulmates, and if so does anyone believe that one could meet theirs in the astral. Or even better, has anyone had this experience. Since I believe we all, as energy, have been here for a long long time, and I also believe in past lives I do believe in soulmates, to certain degrees. Im curioius to what  everyone thinks on this topic or if anyone has any stories to share. Has anyone met someone in the Astral that you felt you were with in a past life and tried to pursue meeting them in the physical?

  I am new to the Quant. forum, although I love physics and have a difficult time finding people who enjoy discusing it. Anway this is my take on the world of Quantum physics, and it all wraps up in two words- string theory. The string theory, or how I take the string theory in relations to OBE's and extra dimensions is easily understood with one anology, a loaf of bread. This I believe is one of Brian Greene's originals, he is the author or 'Elegant Universe' and 'The Fabric of the Cosmo's' and has a great talent for writing for the masses.
     Anyway the loaf is sliced up and each individual slice represents what is called a membrane in quant. physcis, or for short a brane. Each brane is thought to be a separate dimension or as we call it a Universe. Our brane, our slice of the loaf,  consist of our one universe. The reason we concieve only our brane and not other branes that are relatively right next to us is because we are vibrating at a separate and individual level in comparision to the other branes.  For example think of the strings on a violen, each makes its own vibrations when touched, making its own unique sound. Our universe is vibrating to its own unique wave and all that is in it does so as well, which puts us able to percieve only what is at our vibrational level within our own brane. As most of us believe in this forum, we have the capability to escape our physical body and percieve that which is greater. What I  believe this to be is the ability to percieve different levels of vibrations, hance different branes. Now this is a huge break through in the world of physics and thought, and there are two places in the world ( I forget where) that are running experements that run two hydrogen atoms at the speed of light in tunnels underground in hopes that they crash into eachother and make what is called anti-matter or another brane. (this may be confusing and I am not explaing it for all its worth) This is on the idea of the big bang, and how our own universe (brane) came to be. Anyway what scientist hope to find when doing this is the graviton (gravity) floating above and away from this newly formed brane. What this proves is that gravity is not pertainted to just our brane alone but is found in other branes, or possibly might be one of the forces that holds the whole loaf together and encompasses all the branes. Now what I think is possible and would be great to study is the idea of thoughts and human consciousness in relations to branes. Is there a way to find out if a level of consciousness floats beyond our brane? Wouldnt that be a amazing discovery for the human race to find out what exactly we are doing here? Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or have heard this before? I would love to get into research involving the human thought process in relations to our physical world and beyond. Just a quick thought and my understanding on a aspect of quantum physics Another great idea for this forum in better understanding physics it may be a good idea to have a sort of book club forum and read a book a month or something and discuss it on the forum to fuel questions, anwsers and great ideas.

   Thanks again! I have actually had that happen as well, the furniture thing. I have seen very different plants and chairs in my living room. This is good to know because I knew what I was having was a OBE but I questioned it's validity in comparison to the first OBE i had which was very clear. I guess it is common to have distorted OBE's after the first one, once you become aware of what is happening to you.

    Its been a long time since I wrote anything but lately I have been having very strange OBE's. They happen when  I am lucid dreaming. It turned into a projection, with the vibrations and leaving my body although it seem very different from the firstr projections I have had. Again I still am a beginer and cant seem to get over some fear I have left and for that reason I am still foggy at times and only stay projected so far. Although it seems that i am very much in a dream state (if that makes any sence). Like I can only pass throug walls once in a while and most of the time I find myslef actually opening the door to get out of my room. I go in my parents room and find my parents there (which is impossible because my mother has been in the hospital for almost two months now) and I give my mother a big hug. Now I know this is not a dream because I truely am out of my body and when I come back I dont wake up from a dream but instead I wake up from a OBE with my body still tingling and wide awake knowing what just happened. It just seems so dream like at times, like I am not fully there in the OBE experience. This is a little hard to explain but I feel maybe this is just the way I am suppose to progress because it helps me get use to the whole OBE. Maybe I am to start off slowly and dream like. Again sorry for the confusion, but does this  or has this happen to anyone. ANd is this a common thing when you OBE from lucid dreams?

Does anyone feel that this may be there last EArth life cycle, or very close to it? Just curious, after reading some of Monroes books and becoming a practiced OBE'er (getting more comfortable with the experience, not so scared:) I am begining to sence that I  may be on my last life or very close to it. My overall view that I have is very beyond this physical and I have a innate sence that I am going to explore very deeply into myself and the energy systems that are around me. I have a deep feeling that I will find home in this life. I am only 23 but I do realize that I am very old, I have been here for some time. Does anyone else have this innate knowing that they are almost through with Time Space Reality?

  I have a quick question. Sometimes when I am in bed about to fall asleep I get a click in different regions of my body, most commonly my pelvis and like lower back area. Its like a uncontrolled twitch but it seems to accurate to describe it as a click, like somthing is opening. Could it be my chakra opening, does this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to figure out what chakras need opening or if this is a signal for me to concentrate on certain chakras more then others at the given moment. (sorry if spelling is crazy kinda in a rush)

I was wondering if anyone  has experienced  the hemi-sync experiment that takes place at the Robert Monroe insitute. I'm sure most of you have read his books, but I am interested if anyone has attended the workshops. I am a little troubled when going on the site the idea of Hemi-sync, which is a sound that producing change in brain wave patterns, hence allowing the brain to work both hemispheres as a intregrative whole. Does it seem contradictory to rush the process of spiritual growth by a external advice that is suppose to achieve heightened awareness that would normally take years of meditation. Should we be fast forwarding our evolutionary spiriutal growth? Doesnt this seem dangerous to send those who may not be ready into the astral world and beyond, not only for the individual consciousness but for the consciouness of humanity as a whole? Would this push towards awarness be delpleting the fruits of the labor?  The more I think about it the more I am concerned. I would appreciate what anyone else has to say about this topic. I have written a email the the institute to see what they think, and if they have ever recieved this concern in the past. I mean Spritual growth means exactly what it is, growth, a deep internal process that should be aiding by medidative techinique and such, but a man made sound wave pattern? I just dont know?[]

Hey does anyone have any experiences with "celestial music"... I would be very interested to hear if you do. I have had a couple of experiences although not many. To me it was very like classic music. Could it be that classic music is divine music? Like the music of our souls? Does anyone think this? Also does anyone have times where they can hear songs in their head as clear as day, like as if there was a stereo playing in the room. Sometiems right before sleep this happens to me, almost so loud it wakes me up from it. The song is clear as day and even I find it surprising that my mind knows all the words.

Quick question, does the post seem to aid in astral projection for anyone? What I mean is does anyone seem to project more when they have just wrote or read a post, wether it be just before bed or earlier durring the day.  If you are always writing post try to take a couple days a week where you dont and monitor if the sight seems to aid in your astral experiences. Just curious cause it seems to help me project, or come across strange experiences in the pm:)
  Oh yea, I have been meaning to ask what exaclty is hypnognic images (spelt wrong I know). Just the other night while rolling around restless in between consciouness and unconsciouness I saw a figure of a man presenting a speech, something about water, and I believe the man was Walt Whitman, again this was defiantly not a dream and the man was in my room. I was a great speech something about water and stuff, I dont really remember but he was glowing astral like. Can anyone offer some more information on what this was or if anyone experienced something similiar. Again I was not dreaming but I was not completly awake either.

 Well  Im out of school now so I have plenty of time for astral fun!!! That is until I go back to chiropractic college in JAN. Anyway in my waking daily life I am a very open, thoughtful and spiritual person. I am not afraid of much and take everything in as a experiment, I truly believe our waking life is nothing but a mere stepping stone. I had my first OBE in October and it was great, until a little ways in where I began to feel frightened and I returned to my body. Now I have had other experiences although I feel so inhibited I cannot enjoy them. I feel as though I cannot open my third eye and have no control of my movements. I am blindly rolling around trying to get back into my body. How do I overcome this fear?? IT baffles me because I am such a inspired spiritual person and I dont understand why when the time comes and I experience this great sensation I dont just enjoy it?? Instead I fight it?? ANy help from anyone who has had this problem?

My whole life I have at times been able to see the future. Its always random and i have no awareness that it is indeed the future until it happens. For intance, there was this one time I was walking to school (I always got a ride) but his one time i had to walk, and for no reason at all I had a daydream that this girl i barely knew drove be with her mother and stuck her head out the window and ask me for a ride. Now there is no reason I would think this I didnt even know the girl or that she got rides to school it was just a random daydream. ALthough, about  a minute later the whole thing just as i thought it happened!!!! Now this has happened many times to me with the weirdess things. Like i had no idea my parents were even out of the house... andI was in my room and randomly saw them come in the house with bags of icecream and meat to make italian subs. About a minute later i heard the door open, i was a little scared cause i had no idea who it was since I though my parants were home. Anyway it was them I asked them were they went to and weirdess thing!!! they went to buy sub meat and icecream. Now this is all to often and accurate to be pure coincedence. How can this be, and can anyone offer me advice to tap into this. All of my OBE's the seeing energy tyoe figures fully awake and then this are very natural i do not and never have practiced any form of meditation, although I do beleive from a early age I am a very contemplative person. Anyway, any advice to develop these psychic abilities or anyone who has the same type things. Sorry so messy in a rush to class!!

  So the last time this happened to me i was like 8??? I use to see all types of moving glowing objects at night fully awake. Well now last night the same thing has happened, although the objects are a little different. They are not as lit up but they float around my room all at different speeds, almost like flying spirtis? There are multiple ones of the same shape that follow one another. What am I seeing can anyone offer advice. And why does this happen to some people and not others. Why did i see this when i was a kid and now it all of a sudden returns?

I have tried to Obe for a couple times since my last experience. No luck but Im really not trying to hard anyway... one thing i did notice is i jerk alot... like a seizure or something... does this happen to anyone else. Its like uncontrollable, not bad just uncontrollable..

During my first OBE I also had a ball that I was playing with for quite some time... it seemed to apear out of nowhere. From reading around I guess there psi balls right??? Well my question is what are they all about? And how did it just seem to pop right up out of nowhere? what are they used for?
Also, before what i call my first OBE i have had lots of floating sensations during sleep... which i thinkn were beginings of OBE... but I ignored them as weird dreams which i know now they were not. But anyway during these episodes I would feel very sexual sensations? Whats that all about.. i have heard through reading the last week about astral sex but what is that?? freaky!!!!

  Well it is my first time in a forum but it is for great reason! The other week or so ago i had my first OBE and it was the most intense life changing thing that has ever happen to me. I had no knowledge about this subject at all and decided to look up lucid dreams the morning after and found all this info. i had everything from the buzzing noice, a glittery ball, the flying above me, trying to scream for my roomate and lots more..... it was amazing. Its funny now cause i remember things similiar to this happening to me all my life. When i was little I would always see these small colored objects in my sleep, millions of them flying around me and my hand would go right through them... they were as real as day.... and I read somewhere the other day about them being some typeof energy object... well now im completly interested about all this and my whole life took a 360... the only problem is Im a little frigtened. Every night i find myself half waking up and trying to ignore what could possible turn out to be a OBE. I want to have them again and feel very capable to but i am fighting it. Any words of advice and comfort for a begining..... I was never frightened about any of this until now.. that i know whats going on. I feel grateful for this experience and i think we are all lucky to have this happen to us... just need  some advice and people who actually understand me! Thanks!!!

I met Maynard after a APC concert once it was one of the better moments I have come across, not only in the meeting him but the fact that  I new I was going to and it happened, like fate.. it was just another aspect that makes me feel that my life is going in a planed direction, I think everyone's life does once they come to realized and accept this.  Anyway TooL was the reason I tapped deeper into my already very spiritual nature...  I was just going to say I believe we astral project because it is a part of our evolutionary process. I like to think of it as the start of our "evolution of awareness", and we are some of the beginers:) Although this has been happening for centuries to people it is still 'new' in evolutionary time, which are devided up into eras and such. Although, pretty soon we wont need this terminology of time once we 'project' to our next evolutionary step, another dimension of space and evergy! ISnt it crazy to think about!!! I think we are begining to fathom the possiblities of our existence!

Sorry about not being so clear but it was kinda foggy.  It was about 1am and I was not sleepy so well due to a little cold. I remeber being pretty aware because I was tossing and turning (so I could not have been in sleep paralysis) There was this glowing man in my room talking about something to do with water. It was some type of poem or like inspiring speech cause I remember that it really gave me emotional feelings, it was a beautiful speech, even though I dont remember the content. His voice was loud and clear in my head even though I dont remember the exact words. He was astral like in his appearance, almost looked like a hologram and had that greenish yellow glow to him.  For some reason the name walt comes to mind. Like I think I thought it was Walt Whitman or like Walt Disney??
Strange! If anything else comes to mind I'll fill you in.

  I have heard numerous sounds while projecting or pre projecting- noises that range from buzzing to heart throbbing, to loud clapping and even beautiful harp like music that I like to call "celesial Music". Anyway there was one time that I did not project it was more like a dream although completly different. It was in my old house and I heard what you are talking about the loud knock. It was very loud and coming from one direction and coming closer toward me and louder with every time. I soon realized this to be footsteps and then a little girl appeared walking toward me. I bent down and asked her who she was and where her parents were and she walked completly through me and then completly through the wall. Now this would have been a completly scary nightmare although it seems to carry more weight then a dream and in that case it  did not frighten me (if that makes sence).... sometimes I feel dreams can be scary but its the things that seem real that are not. Anyway this girl came back throught the wall and sat with me for a while we talked and laughed. Then i think the dream state kicked in and my roomate came home and she ran out.. I woke up as if it was a dream, although the knocking and her presence makes me doubt this. The knocking was something I have never experienced in a dream and it was loud and real as though I was projecting even though i didnt.
