I'm just full of questions tonight  :)
In meditation I have this silly problem in no matter how relaxed I am, not matter how focused I am, I cannot prevent songs from running through my head. [:D] Not all the time, but enough to seriously wonder about my concentration problem, lol
I know it's silly, and I know that complete concentration doesn't call for a running soundtrack. Trying things such as visulaization, or breathing techniques simply do not work sometimes, sometimes I just give up in frustration.
I guess I'm trying too hard.

I am new to these forums, but I wasn't quite sure who else I could speak to about this, because it doesn't seem real to me, but I know it is.

Basically in my meditation this afternoon, someone showed up in a vision, demanded answers from me, forced himself on me, then told me he would be back.

I know I wasn't sleeping so it wasn't a dream, and I do not know who this person was, except that he was in an extremely lucid dream I had Halloween night. If this were only a product of an overactive imagination I would like to figure away around it, but I'm pretty nervous now, feel pretty violated, and I'm not sure what to do now.

Not sure what else to say except I'm also learning about finding one's Ki. And starting the exercizes it calls for to realize it.

Thank you in advance for any insights someone may have.

I used to meditate on a regular basis when I was younger, a teenager, curious of what it could do for me, but I sorta just forgot about it.  
Recently in speaking with a friend about combat ki, I was interested enough to pick up meditation again, as well as learn about ki and it's uses (?), hopefully not pertaining to combat though.
I learned and practiced last night a basic shield, and so far it seems to be working, as this afternoon's meditation was not disturbed.
Hope it stays that way  :)

I do listen to all sorts of music for background noise, and so I'll stop that for a while and see if it helps  :)
I will also clear my mind through-out the day and see how that works  :)

I'd never been told or read about shielding and protection until tonight. Next time I find myself losing control of my meditation I will remember what I've learned tonight and the words you have said and hopefully regain control.
I've much to learn, and all the time to do it in [|)]
