OMGGG So I havn't been on this website in a while because I kinda gave up on the whole astral thing. But i think I was succesful last night!

I had yesterday off of school but still woke up at 5:30 and started to listen to music. I paced back and forth for about half and hour. After awhile, I went back to sleep. Then this onslaught of lucid dreams came at me. I woke up again.

So I went back to sleep again but something didn't feel right. I couldn't move for a good couple minutes! I was in this sort of half awake half asleep state. Then I thought, why I don't I try projecting again? I did the roll out method and rolled out of my bed. The sheets went with me but I swore I wasn't awake. I looked out my window. The light coming out of it was some kinda green color.. I can't describe it. It was green but different colors at the same time..

Anyway, I was scared to go anywhere. I looked down and there was no body on the bed. So I touched the pillow and BAM! I was staring at the ceiling! I thought did that just happen?!

But I did it!! I tried doing it again this morning but I stayed up too long after waking up. But Im happy I got that far  :-D

Thanks but does it work? I've used beats before but for different purposes.
#3
I'm thinking of trying that bineural beat stuff. Does it work? Any links to some good ones would be helpful.

I'm going to try again tonight. I always think to myself, if I could do this effectively at will, I would forget all the problems I have now and just float every night for the time we lose when we sleep. I hate wasting time and this would solve that.

(sorry continuation to last post)

Basically i floated in my living room and I looked in my mirror and my image was distorted. Kinda how it would look if you looked in the funny mirrors that make your body swiggly. I got freaked out and thought i want to go back to my body and I woke up

Yeah it sounds like you had an O.B.E. Last night I think I had one but was too afraid to get up.

Sounds like you switched to third eye vision... that'd give the illusion of suddenly looking forward when really you're just changing your metaphysical vantage point. You are in fact close.

*squeal* I'm excited. I've been practicing a lot and I think it's finally paying off! Can't wait.

Another night and I decided to practice projecting before I go to sleep.

So I decided to start it. It felt wierd. I was tired, but I didn't fall asleep even though my eyes were closed. I must have been doin this for an hour and a half, because I felt tired this morning. It didn't feel like an hour and a half, it felt like ten minutes, but I know it was way more time than that.

I'm meditating and I see nothing with my eyes closed, just black nothingness. After a long while something really wierd happened. My eyes moved straight forward, and as soon as it did, a blast of different colors appeared. I didn't even make my eyes move forward, it's like they did that themselves. Like someone took my eyeballs and literally made them look forward. I was soo confused but unfortunately I didn't try to get up because I just watched a scary movie and I was kinda scared hah.

But I'm getting soooo close! I can feel it

You sound like you are getting closer. Now you just have to relax and enjoy the experience. I like it that you said you weren't "thinking" of projecting. Sometimes people put too much pressure on themselves to project. It's better to just let it happen and that will come with practice.
Great Job and Safe Travels!  :-)

Thanks. I want so badly to do it, but it takes work and Im willing to do it.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Gettin there

Okay so two things:

One is I tried projecting in the afternoon. I started to feel calm and the less I thought about projecting the closer I felt to getting out. I tried jumping out of bed and when I did I saw in the reflection of the t.v, what looked like me but several mes coming out of.. me. Ok, to better explain it, you know when your computer freezes but the small window on it seems to move but when you do it leaves out several windows dragged all over the screen? Can't for the life of me find the right word.. But anyway, it was like that just it went back into me. Or me back into.. me. Whatever. By now you must get it a little..

Another I tried at night and the less I thought about projecting the better. I felt plastered to my bed, and tried to remain calm. Then this really wierd feeling came over me. Well under me, you could say. It felt like being on a wave. The wave would start at the top of my head and kept going down. Then another wave would come under me and another and another. It was very wierd. Then my head started to feel like it was going left to right again, but I got too excited and it went away before it could even take a little effect.

The waves stopped and I was dissapointed. I tried bringing the left and right feeling again but I couldn't do it. Tried getting up but I wasn't projecting, I could tell. Sucks mann :-P

Thats about it though. Thoughts?

Thank you guys. You've all been very helpful :-)

I've just been wondering.. when your projecting can it also count as sleep or are you still concious? I want to know because sometimes seperation happens during school nights and I just wanted to know if it was ok to do it for long periods of time.

thank u

Don't try, because trying leads to attempting and attempting can lead to either failure or win, just do it. Tell yourself that its easy and all you have to do is relax and just do it. Many people get vibrations that lead to APing because they don't even try to do it, it just happens naturally.

Have no intent, like the Nike motto says Just Do It.

When it's over im afraid to get up or roll out because of evil entities and stuff. My friend suggested imagining a white light over your body so Im going to try tht

One thing to remember:  When it all stops and you think you're done, get up physically and walk around- don't roll over and go to sleep.

Ya know I was thinking about that too and I'm kicking myself for not tryin hah

The other night, it happened again. (By which I mean the shaking from left to right in my head at night). And I got excited so I tried controlling it but it didn't seem to work. All though, wierdly, it didn't hurt anymore. So since I could make it not hurt anymore, I tried some seperation techniques. Mine are when you think of a situation where you seperate from your body and you slowly begin to climb out. I swear I havnt felt more seperated before then but didn't leave yet.

After a few minutes it began to die down and then stopped completely. I knew it was over but also it was something really new and another thing to explore. I tried seperation again but with no success. Kinda feels like a portal, coming back when it feels like it. I'll try harder next time.

Thank you. Feels like its moving but it's not. I put my hands on my head and it wasn't moving at all and I've told people about it and they can't it explain it either. I hope I have it again though, I want to attempt seperation.

Pardon my interpreting your experience.. ;)
But it sounds like it was something you were perceiving.  It sounds like what you experienced were the vibrations.  :)

You think so? It was wierd I was so dizzy but I didn't know what AP was at the time. If I experience it again, I'll try a technique :)

Is it a perception or is your head actually shaking?  Has someone else said this?

No I've had the experience when I had to sleep with my mom and another time with my aunt. They didnt say anything and my aunt is REALLY religious so she would know. But it happens every so often.

Neither has anyone else the first time they have a seizure. Can you instantly stop it happening if you try. If not then I'd see a doctor.

Btw summer are you a doctor? The more of your posts I see the more I wonder if you're a doctor or brain surgeon or something.

Yes if I open my eyes it will stop but as soon as I get my eyes closed it happens again.

Not Vibrations-type shaking?

Actually yeah! It felt like somebody put two huge speakers on the sides of my head and rattled them.

It could be physiological.  By the way, what sort of psychic stuff did you get into.  Give me the details.  What have you read, who did you see and speak to, what have you done etc. etc.

Well I've practiced candle reading for a long time and casting spells. (Some Witchcraft n stuff) But I decided to quit that about 2 weeks ago and started studying psychic info again. I took several tests and a lot of them told me I was psychic but needed to practice. I've been practicing on little games online that are like "Which is the next shape?" and stuff. Never ever did I practice black magic. I only did spells that were like good luck, or having the team at my high school win a game. Nothing big. I come from a family that is very skeptic and they don't believe in much but I have an open mind. Thats where the astral projection came in. I decided I wanted to get into that because I wanted to fly and go places and travel time. I won't lie, I do it mostly because it sounds cool. But other times I want to do it simply because I have nothing to do. And since my family doesn't have the money to go traveling all the time, I figured I could do this without anyone knowing and I would be satisfied with it.

I havn't spoke to anyone yet about it.  It's just at random the shaking happens. I want to know what it is because it didn't start happening until like a year ago.

Sometimes, and this is really wierd, I'll try to go to sleep and my head will shake violently left to right, when I close my eyes. Well, not my head literally, but it feels like someone is shaking my head left to right. Almost like an earthquake. It happens every so often, and I can't figure out if it has something to do with the third eye, or astral projection.

It happened before I got into psychic stuff so it's not in my head and I know it because it makes me so dizzy I have to wait like an hour until it wears off.

**I have never had any type of seizure problem. So it can't be that.

Plzzz help?
