Hi all, I am interested in learning magic and have looked at the book recommendations given in the sticky and downloaded heaps of pdf's like Egyptian Book of Dead, Emerald Tablet [of Hermes?], and heaps of others to get me started.

However, I want to know if anyone here who practises have actually done things via magic that wouldn't have occured otherwise.  In other words I want to know if its actually worth all the reading and practice?

I do realize we all may have different motivations for learning it but I want to know if anyone has had real results.

Hi guys, I've seen some interest on Cassiopeaens on these boards recently, so I thought I would start a thread discussing their channelings.  I have spent a number of hours reading through the channelings and found some holes in them.  I have all the channelings from 16/07/94 - 28/09/02.  

OK here is a prophecy which hasn't come true.

Here is a prophecy which did come true, but I think a lot of people could have guessed it.

I find this one interesting, it was channeled in October 7, 1994.  Would this be aroud the time of the historic Isreal/Pelastine peace treaty?

It had also mentioned Arafat in a previous channeling same context as well as Pope V.

Now here is the context channeled later which is exactly what I was thinking why they would at the time think so highly of Yasser Arafat.

Taken in the year 2004 context, these words sound quite silly.  Especially calling Arafat a peace maker and knowledge dispenser.  He is now in hiding and the conflict is still very far from peace.  My question is why would "we are you in the future" not have known this about Arafat and the Israel/Palestine conflict when it is so obvious to many of us 3rd density folk.

And lasty here is an interesting one on STS and STO and who they serve, apparently its both.  How?  They serve themselves through others.  That sounds exactly how an STS would operate to me by using others for their own purposes.

Anyone know of any prophecies or anything they predicted that came true?  I wouldn't have a clue if any of them have though I have seen many that havn't.

Yeah, my motivation for studying magic is merely to objectify for me that there is more than just the physical world we see.

Kazbadan, do you still get angry and stuff every so often?  Because if you are always acting happy when you are really sad or angry it may catch up on you and you will end up going to the other extreme.

Its good what you are doing, but in my opinion it is best to find a good balance if you havn't already.

Question 1 Why do you specifically recommend Hermetics?  What is it about it that you recommend and like?

Alcohol is a depressent, thats why you feel so bad after the initial buzz.  It brings you up then once you stop drinking you come crashing down.

I got drunk a couple of times with double vision and almost throwing up and stuff and now if I drink alcohol I feel really sick.  Its probably just an over-reaction to alcohol.  So I don't drink it anymore and have no more of that seriously sick feeling.  Rum and Coke seriously does that to me, so if you still want to drink I would suggest something like wine maybe?

EDIT: probably something more fruity then carbonated or vinegerish may help.

MacTombs, I was playing along with your little joke so you could tell me I have a Pleidian guide which would make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. []

The point is, you could say my so called guides name and everything and just be making it up completely, which means we should not believe everything we hear or even think we hear. [}:)]

MacTombs, that is wonderful that you found your guide.  I myself recently connected with my Pleidian spriritual guide as well.  Can you please get your guide to talk to mine to verify that it is really who she said she is.

Back in highschool everyone used to say that you should eat vegemite if you have a hangover.  I myself live off the stuff, but the irony is that Vegemite is actually made from a biproduct of making beer. Thus without beer there is no vegemite, but with no beers then there are no hangovers and so no need for Vegemite. [V] But perhaps I might not be thinking straight due to certain factors and in need of some Vegemite? []

PS I know some of you aren't good at English so I decided to write slowly.

They occur at seemingly random times for me.  Usually it is something happening at the same time I'm dreaming but somewhere else.

I've also had dreams about the future that happened.  Once I even had a dream that gave me two different choices and had people I had never seen before but I saw the next day.  I made one of the choices that day and is one aspect I found really interesting.

Though I will say the dreams actually contain symbolism that surround the events and relate directly to what happens.  For example, blood has literal relevence to the event but is used symbollically in my dream.  That happened in one instance involving a Petrol Station hold up which happened the same time I was dreaming.  The weapon was a syringe full of blood and the person was a heroin addict. There was a few lines of writing on clear glass at the servo of which I could only remember the last word which said "why".  I mostly remembered this because my dream had done a close up of this word but on white bricks like a jail cell after I saw the writing on the clear glass. From time to time I used to think about what the writing on the wall said till a few years later when the subject of heroin came up in a class at highschool and the teacher ended up telling me and the class about the guy (a former pupil which she had watched since he had great potential) who robbed the place and his history.

It was strange because the thing the teacher kept telling me how she didn't understand "why" these things (the events leading up to the holdup; how a guy who excelled so much and once had his life spared while his friends died had gone so down hill) happened.  Which is exactly the same question posed in the dream.  The teacher said if I have any questions about the person that I can ask her freely.  But I thought she had already told me plenty to answer my questions.

Anyway, I hope you found that somewhat interesting since I think the chances of that dream being a mere coincidence is far less than being something more meaningful.  As my sig says. []

I was talking to people once who were talking about meditation and how it helps you relax.  So I decided to try to meditate not knowing exactly any techniques.  Just from TV I knew you had to clear all thoughts and stuff.  So I used to do that and discovered that I would gradually see images and then visions (as in a dream).  So I used to do it as an escape and because I was always curious each time where I would go and who I would meet.  It is like dreaming but you are fully awake.  Unfortunately I never thought to go in RTZ mostly because I didn't realize this was a real phenomena rather than just in my head kind of thing.

But I ended up stopping doing it, and am now trying to start to again, hence why I am here to look for peoples advice and stuff.  Probably sounds silly since I used to before but I am having trouble doing it now and only have spontaneous uncontrolled visions which are more premonitions then APing.  However, premonitions are bitter sweet, since they prepare you for whats to come, but it still is bad when the stuff happens.  I'm sure many would agree, but I'm trying to make this stuff more controlled.

Hi Spiral, there was actually one on the news a few months ago in Queensland I think that crashed near a small town where people at night on there verandas saw it and heard the explosion.  Probably around the same size I would think.  But unless it hits a house it isn't big news. []

Hi SD, I've got a couple of questions. []

Question 1 Can you please describe what base chaos is exactly?  Does base chaos have physicality as I would know it or can it only be known at an abstract level.

Question 2 What differentiates base chaos from what we see?  Does it still surround us like it is around me right now?

Question 3 How do energy exercises work exactly?  I mean, how does breathing or mentally sucking up energy through the feet actually effect energy.  Wouldn't there still be the same amount and quantity of energy going around and through us if we were doing the same things/actions but without thinking about energy?

The thing about many channelings is that they can give you all of this abstract meaning of life stuff, but when it comes down to answering some specialized knowledge like a math equation or a subject the channeler knows nothing or little about the answers don't seem to come as good.

For example, its all good calling Arafat a peacemaker in '94 but what is he thought of as now?  Is he still a peacemaker?  Its possible he could be descended from Christ since I've heard he has Jewish heritage and technically well anyone could be descended and there is no way we could know for sure anyway.

But what about things that are verifyable like a space invasion?  Should things that are told that aren't true diminish from the whole? But then again, who am I to say what is true?

I guess unless we are looking out the window into the "real" world there really isn't anyway to know for sure.

But seriously, does anyone know of any prophecies or anything compelling that Cassiopaean channelings have revealed?  I see a lot of "these guys are STS but we're STO", and "bad things are happening soon", but I'm still yet to see anything compelling.

They also blamed Israel for the WTC 9/11 thing and said the real planes were transported to 4th density and what we saw were US government drones crashing.  I honestly can't see any verification of these things  though I'm still waiting.

I originally asked because I do not know the mechanics of how a spiritual being could procreate with a physical being would work.  And it is strange that the offspring seem to all have charismatic attributes (tall, strong etc).  Surely if a female gave birth they would probably die in labour.

Question 1 On the subject of the nephilum, why is it forbidden to answer some questions about it?  Who actually forbids answering those questions, in other words, is it your choice as to what you can answer or are you answering to a higher authorities wishes?  If yes, who is that higher authority?

Question 1 You mentioned that the Nephilum are human/angel half breeds.  How would humans actually procreate with angels and have offspring.  Are any people living today also the descendents of nephilum offspring?

I don't understand how people can take a channeling on the internet and use it to verify this channeling (mediating, I know ).  I've read cassiopeans and I thought it was good at first but I started finding contradictions, holes and stuff (unfortunately I've forgotten the specifics now since it was a while ago).

There is a lot of saccharized channeling on the net which is very wordy and really at the end leaves you with not much to show for.

For instance, Bringers of the Dawn, Commander Ashtar and the High Command, the website says Croatia is the most spiritual country in the world and that the 3rd fatima prophecy is going to come true in 1999.  How can you talk about universal matters yet still focus on and make a specific country out to be special?  A lot of channelings only mention North America and how 9/11 had complications for the entire universe( this was at www.ronnastar.com).  If I were to believe them, Croatia and North America are the centres of the universe with all its galaxies and things going on.  Really the channelings are probably just an extension of the self with people trying to make it out to be a higher level being.

STS, STO, family of light, light bringers, etc are just ways of trying to make you feel good about what you are reading and giving you a reason to follow what it says.  I'm really probably just a holographic image of a 3rd dimensional person who didn't want to go with the pole shift that occured last year.  Maybe I will be ready enough in 2012?  What can I do to become an STO since I don't want to incarnate on an STS planet, I really want to be human and am afraid.

In the end, I don't think it is wise to compare SD's mediations against this benchmark since you don't really know if either is true.  Though it does make you wonder what reality really is.  "Fictional Worlds" anyone? []

I don't really think SD would continue if he was really getting drained, I'm sure SD would know when to stop.  But this thread has given some really interesting answers that have surprised me (in a good way) as well.  This is the most interesting thread for me on the entire site, ever. []

Is the stuff about how they kill them true? Like skinning alive and stuff or is that just animal activist propaganda?

If it is true they should definitely find a better way.  Its not very good or humane at all.

Hey guys I just realized something stupid in what I said.  I said that there should be a separate Gay Marriage Act.  I actually think this should be instituted immediately otherwise it could be said that there are no happy marriages.

I wouldn't call it evil, but I think it should be a separate from the Marriage Act (applicable where you live).  Perhaps they could have a Gay Marriage Act instead of having to change the whole definition of the Marriage Act.

Do that and you don't have to worry about the whole homo, hetero thing.  Since its all kept separate and more people would be happy.

I was very surprised actually to hear Massechusets being the first state in the US to do it being bible belt heartland and all.  I was thinking maybe Texas? j/k

I know what you mean.  I was reading a Psychology journal article about kids who have memories of a past life.  One child knew things in striking detail since he told the parents of his "past life" what happened to "him".  However, the psychologist concluded it must be because the child is different (psychologically) to other 'normal' children.  It said nothing in the conclusion about researching further how he knew what he knew (normally in academic articles there is a clause stating a need for further research) and why.  Just that he was psychologically different.  The psychologist needs to read my sig instead of looking at the original version of it (simple solution = most likely).

Agree entirely, that's why I wrote what I did.  If people are worried about losing energy they can either stop doing it or take the plan B route. I sort of said what I said in jest to make people stop and think what they are really worrying about and given the simple (of what I find logical) solution how silly it all sort of seems (to me anyways).  It seemed to me people were just trying to beat around the bush instead of looking at the real issue.
