Sadie - Do you practice retrievals - i.e. bringing spirits from the astral into higher planes?
#2
I don't think this experience was a sign of anything in particular as this wasn't the first time this has happened to me.
Robert Bruce explains in his works that we have more than one body when we're projecting, perhaps several.
There's an etheric that is tied to the physical. Then, there's copies of the etheric - astral doubles. So it could be that I was in one astral double, and there was another floating around that I wasn't actively piloting.
What's interesting though is that when I touched it, I felt where it was being touched, as though we all shared a common mind.
Another time this happened, my double was mirroring me and we were locked in a configuration. If I rotated one direction, it actually hurt as it was pushing into me and even through me.
Bottom line, I think, if you project enough, you'll start experiencing odd states like this from time to time. It can be scary, but we often manifest our biggest fears.

This afternoon, I had the luxury of a nice long nap. As I was waking up, I was in that "in-between" state ripe for projection.
I observed as a "person" climbed into bed next to me on my wife's empty side. I thought, this must be her spirit taking a nap.
I called out to them, but no response. I reached over and started touching them. My sight was pretty weak, but it seemed the person was translucent anyway. After awhile I noticed when I would touch a particular body part like a hand, or hair, etc., it would feel like someone was touching me in that exact spot. I realized I had a separated double hanging out with me.

Anybody else experience something like this?

In my experience, people who have transitioned don't hang out very long in the astral unless they have fragments stuck there. They usually "see the Light" and move to the heavenly plane which OBErs rarely explore. It's akin to Focus 27 as labeled by the Monroe Institute. They hang out for about 10-20 years (our time) in "heaven" and then either re-incarnate or graduate out of Earth school.

At four years since their transition, you risk losing any sign of your friend in the astral or at least the lower subplanes which we inhabit when we project. If you can raise your vibration and move to the higher realms first before making your request, you may have better luck.

Since getting to the higher realms can be difficult, I suggest the following "trick" I learned awhile back. Manifest a phone and call for some help. People higher up can communicate with us down in the astral. Also, helpers can essentially bungee jump down into the lower realms, grab you, and bounce back into their space which is the next plane up. You may have a much better chance of summoning your friend at that point.

I see the astral wind as a phenomenon that occurs quite rarely, maybe once or twice a year, and you might miss it if you're not lucid at that time. For me, it's been about past lives and karmic turning points much like Robert Bruce's accounts. But I can see how they might be interpreted in different ways.
#6
This particular experience was different than normal being grabbed by someone else. Normally the wind is just that - an invisible/non-latching force. I actually felt the approach and someone latching onto me, like they were ready and waiting to grab me when the time was right. Usually, I'm the one who grabs one or two people for retrievals. I wonder if I come across with the same doughy consistency :)

That's interesting that you get pulled back to Earth. No, for me it's pulled backwards and away into distant lands or times. Either way, though, its an involuntary thing, someone else is pulling the strings.

This morning, I became lucid and found myself being dragged backwards deep into an astral territory. I truly felt like I was being kidnapped as an entity had wrapped their arms around me and I could feel their liquid balloon-like body.  I went along with it knowing that I was completely safe although I suspected I would be taken to someone's lair, perhaps an "evil" mastermind. When I finally stopped, I was in front of a middle-aged man with a mustache. He started by quoting what seemed like a constitution or historical document.

He then proceeded to tell me that in two days there *could* be "an announcement" that would shake the world.

I asked what I could do about it to protect myself. He said I won't be alone in asking those questions. Something about affecting markets, etc. but no details on what this event or announcement would be. I then continued to move backwards but I couldn't sense someone grabbing me anymore. I usually call this effect the "astral wind" or "astral pulse" since it seems akin to the original definition.

BTW, has anybody had any astral pulse/wind experiences recently. I wonder if they happen at the same time, or whether they are more personally timed.

Ok. Well, we've covered the highest point one can reach which is essentially re-merging back with our Source.
What about in-between the astral and this "Point."?
I use the term "Heaven" or "mental plane" (even Focus 27) to describe it.

1) People are aware that they have passed
2) They are more open-minded than astral dwellers.
3) They are more shape-shifting into their various previous/future selves.
4) Telepathy is the main form of communication. You hear their voice, but their mouths don't move.
5) The colors are more saturated (more "colorful")
6) When you enter it, at first, sometimes time appears speeded up.

Does this sound familiar to anyone here?
And if so, what do you experience that is similar or different?

windbreeze: Try the following when you have a quiet moment. Sit in a chair and close your eyes. Now smile and mean it. Do you feel a certain energy well up for example in your heart? Through practice you can increase the energy output and spread it throughout your body. That's my way of raising vibrations. It can be practiced Here and There.

I'm glad you brought that up, because that's something that I haven't tried, or at least don't remember.

My favorite thing to do when I'm There besides retrievals is exploring beyond the astral.
What I'm curious is whether anyone else is interested in this, and how each one of our characterizations of these areas compare.
I could write a wall of text about this, but I'll begin by saying, beyond the astral is a breath of fresh air, both environmentally and psychologically.
Also, it is generally much harder to reach and often requires a positive state of mind (i.e. raising of vibration).

I believe we have a better chance of remote viewing the winning lotto numbers than trying to win the JREF prize.
I've read that the challenge is a bit biased towards failure.

sunshaker and Blazewind: Thanks!

Blazewind: I've devoted some of my other songs to the unique insights we get from exploring the spiritual world. Check out for example "Retrieve Me" and "Love Can Come From Anywhere" on my website (drleemusic.com) The challenge for me is writing about topics that most people might find foreign and/or confusing. On the other hand, those that get it, really get it and, like you, appreciate that someone actually said it.

soarin12 and roman67: Thanks for your compliments.

If you do enough retrievals, you will get the personal chance to experience a rare but valuable "validation."
Supposed for example, a family member of a friend passes away. Then you request to retrieve them.
You ask a bunch of questions to the retrievee or you just observe the circumstances/environment.
When you come back here, you compare notes with the the friend and see if you picked up information you couldn't possibly have known beforehand.

For me, validations have come from retrieving people who died in historical events such as 9/11 or the Iraq war. The reason this work is that there is often a web memorial of each victim to compare notes with.

As Journey once said "Don't stop retrievin'"  ;)

Nihil: Imagine if anyone could change the past, it would affect everyone else, too, by the butterfly effect. So be careful what you wish for.

If you decide to pursue astral travelling, learn how to use it to change the future. We make decisions all of the time that lead to different potential outcomes. You can see some of these outcomes by projecting. You can then work towards the one you want by making informed decisions at various points in life.

Lionheart: your welcome.
BTW, my English name is Michael, my Hebrew name is Mendel. I liked using Mendel for spiritual forums but it turns out everyone I meet in spirit calls me either Michael or my unintelligible soul name.

My song combines elements of various retrievals (with some artistic license).

warning: the genre is "easy listening" :)

By posting a simple music video to Youtube, I'm hoping to gently spread the idea to a larger audience.

Lyrics:

Dodging fire, though your innocent
Lunging forward crouched in pain
Leaving shelter, use your inner sense
While you get soaked in the rain

They don't even seem to notice you
As you scream with all your lungs
They can't hear if they wanted to
Now your journey has begun

I will lead you home
I will lead you home
I will lead you home
I will lead you home

Mangled body from a car wreck
I sing life into your soul
Tangled in some kind of fight, heck,
Why you bother anymore?

Trapped repeating in a time loop
Break the silence with my voice
Zapped with love you fin'lly regroup
Now it's time you made a choice

Where the sun is shining
Where the moon is rising
You see the horizon

Now let me guide you
Through the winding tunnel
Across the great divide

Together we'll enter
the glowing sparkled
place that you'll reside

I can't completely discount real negative astral forces based on my experiences despite the fact i wouldn't expect it. Conventional thinking is that the astral is the home to dead personalities who hang out until they re-merge with their Greater self. It's possible that in their meanderings, some of these personalities form alliances that together could have a noticeable (but not sizable) effect Here.

Lionheart: Thanks for sharing this latest experience. I've never seen anything quite like this. I have experienced some powerful and crafty astral entities holding back large groups of energy fragments (personalities) from returning Home by convincing them that they are already in "Heaven." Some of them are powerful enough to essentially trap me for several days. Best of luck breaking through and helping out the natives.

My friend and I had some fun putting together a guided meditation for chakra clearing.

It might be helpful for projection and healing.

Let us know if you have any other guided meditation topics you might be interested in.

Silwer,

Your problem sounds familiar to what I went through a few years ago.
I went to a very good energy healer for a few sessions.
I complemented his work with my own meditation on my energy body.
My abdomen has always been impossible to relax. What I did was ask the question, "what is this sensation all about?"

I intuited various past life personalities and "retrieved" each one as I met them. For the most part, they were victims
of some brutal death, whether by man, and animal, or situation (e.g. childbirth).
The more I "dug", the more of these personalities I met and moved along... it seemed unlimited.
Then one day, I encountered a personality that preceded them all. I call him the "Viking."
He recklessly killed many people in his lifetime.

Now, I can't say I've completely solved my energy body situation, but I realized that at the core of my problems
was either a major karma imbalance or a self-inflicted punishment to train my soul to do a better job keeping my incarnations in check.

Moral of the story, there is a story embedded in your situation. A story that might span many past lifetimes.
I suggest during meditation to ask for more information about your discomforts. Don't worry if the messages you get at first
seem strange. Imagination is one of the best gateways into the spiritual world and whether or not the messages are "factual," it could lead to healing.
A recent audio I released with help of my deep-voiced friend might help  :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqPNuwJLARU

Thank you silwer!
The best has yet to come...

My friend and I developed a very simple guided healing audio recording.

It's based on one of my favorite healing techniques, where you tap into sensations within your body and associate particular thoughts.
For example, I might feel a pain in my stomach, tap in, and realize it's "spiritual" cause is my worries at work.

At the very least, it's a great technique for becoming more fully aware of what is on your mind but that you are suppressing.
At best, coming to grips with those latent thoughts can lead to simply letting go of them.

If this sounds interesting to you, then check it out and let me know what you think. It's 13 minutes long.
I'd like to know if we should make more of these type videos.
As my friend likes to say, if I can help one person, then it was all worth it.
