astralspinner: I'll do that for sure, thanks.  In fact last night I was reading Far Journeys where Monroe describes being united with dozens and dozens of souls he didn't realize he had always known, and I dreamt that I was in a giant stadium where 80,000 of my best friends gathered to celebrate my birthday.  Obviously I don't have 80,000 friends let alone best friends, but in my dream I recognized and was so happy to see each one.  Incidentally, it is actually my birthday, but I honestly hadn't even thought about it, so who knows?

Thanks for responding.  Logic, I wouldn't tell my daughter what to think, but I would certainly teach her how to think (for herself).  If you were raising your child Catholic, you would teach them all about Jesus and the bible. I wouldn't instruct them which way to vote, for instance, but I would keep them informed.  And like so many people have said in the books, I'm beginning not to "believe", but "know".

My first child, a girl, was born just a few weeks ago.  I have been attempting to develop my mental abilities for a few years now with some limited success.  I have read most of the literature re: OBE's, astral projection etc. (Bruce and Monroe are my favorites), and noticed that there isn't much discussion on how not to suppress the awareness that we often lose as we grow through childhood.  I don't want my daughter to have an unnatural childhood, but I also feel it is very important for her to be open to the worldview from an early age, that many in this forum know to be true.  Any suggestions on how to promote and encourage psychic/astral awareness in a healthy way would be appreciated.

When you project out into space, I would be interested if you could try to view the international space station or even go inside it.  Let me know if anybody succeeds.

Hello.  I've browsed the forum several times, but this is my first post.  I'm posting in reference to your advice to concentrate outside the body.  That's my main problem, concentration.  I would definitely consider myself a beginner, having only been attempting to induce OBE's about a year.  I believe I have been "on my way out" twice and gotten scared, and another time, I was moving my arms through my bed and feeling the floor beneath, but that's about it.

So my problem during meditation is that I simply cannot concentrate on something (or nothing) for longer than 20 seconds or so.  I have read plenty of books, but I'm just pathetic at it.  Do you have any good tools to help focus and concentrate?  Any help is much appreciated.
