I'm new here, and just happened to stumble onto this site while researching Osama Bin Laden, but anyways

I thought I'd just share something with you all.

In August of 2001 I was at a nightclub with 3 friends, and I took 2 ecstasy pills, and after an hour of ingesting them I literally flew out of my body as I sat on a couch, I was in the air looking at the dance floor, flying around the entire club, and then I could see myself sitting on the couch having a cigarette.  After that someone nudged me and I was 'back in my body' so to speak.

any comments/explanations ?

It was pure MDMA from what I was told, it was my first time experimenting with the drug, I'm not a habitual user.  I was just curious, especially since people were saying what profound experiences they had on it, some even went as far as to say it changed their lives.

I was smoking, and could see myself from above on the couch doing that very thing.  It was exciting and both scary at the same time to be out of my body.

Maybe it wasn't a true OBE, but a slight hallucination, not sure.
