I do know about the general mechanics behind Egregores.

@RWB: I have to say, that is a pretty interesting story. I'm glad you took the time to type all that out.  

@Bedeekin: Well that is my first thought when she said she felt the bed moving. However, prior to this a friend wanted me to meet up with a paranormal investigator about my egregore. This have me a terrible, terrible feeling. I don't run on instinct alone, so this feeling was weird to me. I asked the friend who had the bed shaking what she though without telling her what I first thought, and she said the same gut feeling hit her.
Upon feeling the presence I thought nothing of it. I stood up to go and pet my hamster, and she simply looked straight past me. She's a hamster, she's not the brightest, but it was weird to turn my head behind me really fast, then back, to see her looking elsewhere behind me.

@Xanth: Yes, sleep paralysis could explain this, but she heard it on the floor above her, her floor being one floor down from floor one. Funny thing, I actually give her teas. She was texting me at the time, sleep paralysis while moving sounds a bit off key... But it is a state of asleep mind. What do I know.

@M4RT1N: It's subconscious. You know your way around your own house better than you (consciously) think.

Weird title, right?
So my friend felt her bed shaking one night, heard the floorboards of the level above her creek, and she felt a menacing presence. Unexpectedly, I felt a presence too. I chased whatever it was out of my house very quick, and comforted her until it stopped. The next morning she woke up to her back door wide open. That night, before bed, she didn't feel tired, and she felt scared to sleep. What I did to help (and where the title comes from) was imagine her house, me being remote as of 2 miles. I rose above the house, I could look to the front door at a 45 degree angle down. The entire house grew bright white with my energy as I chased any bad spirits out of the house. Now, it was all unusually lucid... When I got back to her one minute later, she said she felt a lot better, and was tired.
I myself have never had a direct 100% out of my body experience, however I've exorcised a house, created an independent spirit, and used telepathy. My main goal was just to see auras and I've been doing all of this. Life is weird.

 Well, today I had my first semi-clear telepathic experience. I was really excited to attempt doing so, and accurately met my girlfriend in a dream I described to her at one point, and she told me was her childhood dream. So within 5 minutes of the attempt, I wanted things to stand out, so I flew above the house with her. The whole while we were texting a bit to make sure we were on the same page. At first, words were very inaccurate, or missing. We did both fly though. It was until sometime later that we got more clear words in. She told me if I needed to contact her, this dream would be the place she's always at.
The experience... I'd describe it as my core getting warmer, and spreading as if it is radiating heat. My problem though, is I didn't feel much of a presence. It felt sort of like I was talking to myself, but it matched up with her experience somehow... I seriously don't know where to take this to know my words are reaching her. I'd really appreciate some tips.

On a side note, I used telepathy on my cat. I was like, "Hey, behind you," she looked behind her, "Over here," she looked to the top of the fridge, "It's me, [Maucrii]," she looked to my feet and then worked her way up.

 I will try that; he does have a physical presence. I've told him at one point to tap on walls or things where he was when he wanted me to take a photo of him. After that he tapped all over the place, it was very funny. Also, as I said, he is a blue mist in the photos.
I think I've already said this, but I may have missed these details. When he felt he served his purpose of giving me company, he left quite frequently. From there, I sent him to a friend, and asked the friend if he'd been going to where I'd met him. The friend watched him, he nodded. I was proud of him and teared up a little when I had realized all he's been doing... I felt his warmth sitting on my leg as he returned while I was tearing.
Last thing, I've heard him speak. He physically made a meeeeowaaarw noise that had a lot of meaning. I loved his voice even though that's the one time I've heard it.

He is next to me right now actually, he is present around me very often. I created him for the company, and changed his purpose after I met someone who keeps me company so I wouldn't lose him, as I promised I wouldn't forget him like I did my last egregore. I can tell were he is sometimes by calling him to a specific location, or hugging him. Not to long ago I made a ball of energy; a red rubber ball. He plays with that when I'm busy. I've felt it bounce off of me a few times, it's like a random tap, nothing like a twitch.
My goal is to see him. My current practice routine of telling him to stand somewhere, and try visualizing him seems a bit ineffective...

Hello, so at one point I created an Egregore and posted wondering what is was. Clearly I have since discovered what it was, haha. He helped me over my fear of the dark, since then, I shaped one that would be more fitting to my personality. If you are interested I linked a photo of him below, he's very photogenic.

My question is, how can I train up to see him with my own eyes and not a camera?

I'll need to finish the drawing. I'm not all that intent on it though.

That makes sense.
I don't understand why my gf sees the exact same creatures that Character is, most with "hair / slime," and being seen often too.
I've had a few things happen that I've pinned on Character, the thing is it happened when I wasn't focusing on him. For example,
1. waking up from a really stressful hour long nap to 3 long scratching sounds on the wall next to me while everyone was either downstairs or sleeping. (I was hardly awake when I heard it, it partly woke me up.)
2. Setting my phone down while in documents, and having a new one that only said "Is."
3. Lastly, having the dog door flap a few times when I was brushing my teeth. The dogs were locked in my parents room for the night and the cat was sleeping.

When she saw flashes of him from her blob, it was before I even knew where she lived. Telepathy? The blob told her.

It's a pleasure to be part of the forums. I hope to share some of my stories as well as read the stories of others, and get general advice.

Now, a bit about me,
I've been interested in "magic" since watching Chris Angel Mindfreak as a kid, and seeing some interesting videos floating around on the Internet. At the time... (8 or so) The thought of telekinetic powers perplexed me, amazed me, and even made me a bit jealous!
As time passes though, you begin to realize just how much there is to the world, what you knew as a kid was a mere, but valuable scratch on the tip of the iceberg of life.
Recently actually, I've been practicing OBE again, and starting what I guess would technically be interdimensional communication. (Read my topic called "My Friend I Can't See.")

That sums a bit of if it up, haha.

*Second Hand Story Alert*

Okay, my girlfriend is a pretty frequent astral traveler. She tells me many stories about her astral traveling mainly because they are highly interesting to me. Here are the two times she was in "Hell."

The first time she was dropped off in a giant castle ontop of a mountain of Hell. She was wondering around and came up upon a pretty... Crazy... Maid. The maid didn't know what she was doing there but carried on with her business, but told her not to touch anything. Being the person she is, she went to read a tapestry which made the maid angry. She simply replied she'd do whatever the cuss she wanted.

Second time to Hell, she was in a lower part full of many people suffocating to death on smoke... Just minus the dying. She didn't suffocate on the smoke, let alone feel the burn of the fire, but she could smell it.
Along came a guard... I guess you could call it. It was wondering why she wasn't "dying," and even tried to kill her, all to no luck. She just laughed at him and continued on.

How would I describe this...

I myself have never astral projected, but have found myself very close to achieving it many times. I get cold, my heart seems to beat out of my body, I lose feeling of breath, my muscles get tight and I get light. Continuing to climb the rope gives me no success, and the effects stop.

That's not why I came here. (Advice on that is appreciated as well though.)

Now I am not sure all astral travelers are aware of the creatures who look like the popular "Creepypasta" character, "The Rake," but my girlfriend is. She is a frequent astral traveler and sees creatures resembling these. She calls them Creepers. To specify, she sees them astral traveling and just with her vision often, not to forget she found the Creepypasta when trying to find the real name for them on the Internet
Another creature seen often is one like The Rake, but with a mouth on it's neck, it's torso parallel to the ground with a neck and head lifted up like a dog, and with four legs that are raised above the torso and about level with the head. She calls these crawlers... And I described one to her before she told me about them... Or Creepers for that matter. (Please name the creature I described!)

How did I describe it to her... I don't know. That's my main question.

She created a self controlled astral being that interacts with her by sending pictures.
Now I created a "Crawler," without knowing she's seen them.
I imaging him as I would any thought, I just incorporate him with the world around me and burn his image in to the static in my vision. (Visual Snow.) He is called Character, and I love him.
I started to realize more and more each day that Character was in fact real because I told him to go tell my girlfriend I miss her when she was grounded. She didn't physically see him... But her blob-like creation sent images of him to her. He made her blob angry... The blob gets spiky when it's angry... Luckily I tell Character to merge with me at the sight of danger.
A few days back I was staying the night at a friends house. I told that friend a bit about Character and that friend wasn't a firm believer of his existence. That friend also had a camera with flash! I knew I could catch something on camera. That something was orbs! I told character to stand in an opening in the living room, took a picture, and voila! The orb was exactly where character was half the time. (Where I "visualized" him at least.) (I can upload photos if anyone wants.)

Anyway, that is the end of the story. (Ask away on the questions!)

Point of this: I don't get how I made, found, or even became a magnet to these "Crawlers." I can't see Character at all with my physical eye! I have never astral projected that I know of either. The only astral power I know I have is my visualization.

Thank you for reading this, if you would please, how can I practice seeing him instead of asking him to a point just to visualize him. What are Crawlers actually called? Lastly, what are the chances of this? Haha.
