Has anyone heard about this movie? I think its showing in the US right now. I cant wait for it to come over to the UK. I'm very excited about this.

For the past 6 months or so I have been 'flexing' my third eye so to speak. I have learned some useful exercises and I can definatly feel a tingling sensation at first and then some pressure, like someone is poking me between the eyes with their finger and then it starts to throb. When I get to this stage I close my eyes and can see a bright flourescent, almost neon colour purple that kind of pulses in time with my third eye. Is this normal?
The strange thing is that since I have been doing these exercises I keep getting a small burn between my eyes. However it doesnt just appear, I keep getting it when I cook food or stand near an open fire. The first time it happened I was frying something up and some oil spat at me and I got burned right between my eyebrows and I was left with a small burn for a week or so. The second time it happened I was camping with friends and I was stood around a camp fire when a small ember launched itself out of the fire and landed in exactly the same place as before. Again I was left with a small burn between the eyebrows.
Guess what happened last night. I was cooking some Indian food with my girlfriend and I checked the pot of curry I had simmering away on the stove when it spat at me and I got burned in the exact same place as I have been burned twice before. Ealier that day I was talking to my girlfriend about chakras and how I was able to feel my third eye and she was laughing at me because she remembered when I had a burn in the area of the third eye and a few hours later it happened again!
So now I'm sat here with a small red burn between my eyebrows for the third time in as many months.
What goes on? Is this just a weird coincidence? I must admit that it is freaking me out a bit as its happened three times now.

I am a newbie and I'm very happy to have found this place, and what a huge place it is. So much to read, it hurts my eyes and I dont know where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

When I was a kid I loved The Secret Garden, so much so I would go to bed and hope with all my heart that I could go there in my dreams. Sometimes I did and sometimes I was convinced I was really there and I would wake up thinking about it and I would think about it all day long until I went to sleep again.
Now I realise that it was real, to me. I created the place in my head and I wanted to go there so much I created it and went there and that's why it was so real. I believed it.
That's why being a kid is so great, because there is no definition between 'reality' and 'imagination' until its practically kicked out of us by our parents, school and TV amoungst other soul crushing influences.
Damn modern society! I want my dreams back!

I take it you have not read any of David Icke's books. If you have, or you have knowledge of the subjects he discusses, please provide information to prove what Icke writes about is wrong. Please do not just assume that his information is incorrect because it does not fit your belief system or because you have the thought that Icke is full of it because most other people think that to, without actually ever having read any of his books. That doesnt make sense to me.
Also, the reptillian theory is not a new one and is not solely Icke's idea. The 'gods' are described in many ancient cultures as being of the serpant race or dragon headed people. There are many many books on this subject. I'm not saying Icke or anyone else is correct in the rep theory, only that it does warrant some serious thought.
Icke's latest book 'Tales from the Timeloop' is his best IMO, as he discusses in depth the nature of reality, quantum mechanics, holographic theory and how we create our reality individualy and collectively. This information, as you may know is very very old and has been understood and explained using various models, the latest being particle physics etc.
If you dont want to give Icke your money, get one of his books out of your local library, if you wish to have a more solid grounding in which to debate the information that is. If they dont have any, request one and I'm sure they will do what they can to get any Icke book you want. If you are'nt all that interested, simply say that you do not know whether the information is correct or not as you havent read any of the books.

After reading this thread the other day I havent been able to stop thinking about the Wickerman, so I got up bright and early this morning and watched the director's cut (best version IMO).
Every time I watch WM I have an urge to go hang out in the woods all day and dance naked amoung the trees!

Oh, I love this stuff and I have been challenged many times when I have made this statement that Jesus never existed as a real man that did all those miraculous things. The evidence is there and when I have more time (tommorow) I will write an extensive essay as to why I know that the story of Jesus is a myth.
I'm not trying to change anyones belief systems and if people want to believe the story then good for them. However, I do believe that everyone should have access to all information so as to have an informed opinion or belief system that they have conciously chosen. That way we can all move foward knowing the options that we have.

Apparently there are other scenes to this film that got lost and the story goes that they are buried under the M25 motorway.

How dare they even think of remaking this movie. They need to leave it alone and love it for what it already is. No improvment needed.

How can a myth have sex? Unless of course it was written that the fictional character called Jesus did have sex.
I'm probably rubbing some people here up the wrong way but that is not my intention. It's just that I really dont believe in the whole Jesus thing. Its a lie and provably so.

I do this all the time when I'm on my own shopping for food or whatever.  It does seem to work because people keep bumping into me and then look surprised when I apologise for getting in their way.
It helps me alot because I live in a bad part of my town and there are alot of gangs of kids on the streets looking to start fights etc. If I see a group of these kids on a street corner I just centre myself and think invisible and sure enough they ignore me. Ordinarily I would be singled out by these kids because I dont look like most other people in the street and they seem to target people that dress/look a certain way.

I do have one of those splatter guards but it rests in the bottom draw along with my garlic crusher, soda stream and toasty maker. Maybe my increased psychic awareness is telling me to dust that thing off and use it from now on. Although a splatter guard will not defend me from exploding camp fires and I'm not going to stop standing around them because they are so mesmerizing. They're great.
I'm not really reading too much into my coincidental burns. The above post was intended to be a light-hearted one and I dont really think that my third eye exercises have anything to do with me getting burned between the eyes.
You gotta admit that it is strange though.
