Greetings

I'm happy to have found this forum. It looks like I have much reading to do. There is so much information here I'm not sure where to start.

I'm living on the east coast. I'm married but have no children yet.

I enjoy occult topics of all sorts. I do a lot of reading and now on Zecharia Sitchins Earth Chronicles.

I'm currently trying to obtain OBE as well as other astral states and to increase lucid dreaming.

I look forward to conversing with you all.[:)]

I'm not sure about OBE since I have not yet had the experience. However increasing dream recall and being lucid more often in dreams I have had 'clumps' of psychic abilities. Simple prophecies and a more in-tune inner voice. I'm hoping this will develop into a greater ability.

Excuse me if I'm posting this in the wrong area but considering the topic...

I have tried to add an avatar to my profile and it states that it must be approved.

1) How long does it take to get approved? It's been 4-5 days since I had attempted to add my avatar. This is not said in an ill manner just curious.[:D]

2) What are the requirements for the avatar? I did not notice any information on specks.

The later in the day the better.  I have much better results when it's not bright out.

Most of the time it's between 10pm and 12pm depending on the day or occasion.

I learned this technique a long time ago, and I thought I'd share it with you.

To have a flying dream (Not necessarily a lucid dream, but it can be), do this: Think about flying as much as possible right before going to sleep. Think about every way of flying possible; flying in an airplane, hang glider, floating, levitating, getting beamed up by a UFO, flapping your wings, holding onto a balloon, flying in a hot-air balloon, getting picked up by a bird, fill your head with as many things as possible.

Keep doing this until you are on the fringe of waking and sleep. You'll have a very good chance of having a flying dream. If it doesn't work the first time, try the next night. Eventually you'll get it. :)

Good luck and happy dreaming!

This works very well. Also try keeping a good imagination throughout the day. I have read having a healthy imagination increases the chance of lucidity in dreams.

In fact I think they are as good and better sometimes. The possibilities are endless. Thats all i'm saying ... now back to flying only topics.[:P]

Thank you Nick

The links were full of free valuable information.

More things to add to my huge reading list.

Strangely last night I had a lucid dream after signing up on this message board. Coincidence??...Hmmm
