There's a sequel coming out called Down the Rabbit Hole, which is actually more of a director's cut than a new film.
What the Bleep do we Know was about how the conclusions of quantum physics support the theory that we create our own reality.

And whatever this is, it looks interesting:

Found this while searching around today.  I tried it and can feel the power in it, and anything is worth a try.  Pasted from http://www.vampiresamongus.com/psyvamps.html#part3 :

-Closing the Circuit: If you believe you are being attacked by a psychic vampire at a specific moment and want to block the vampire from feeding, the quickest way to do so is by sitting in the following posture.  Cross your ankles and place the tips of your index fingers and thumbs (of each opposing hand) together.  This will close off your personal cycle of energy to the outside world and looks casual and unobtrusive when you are in public places.

-Cast the Circle: Allow us to indulge in the wonderful world of simplified wicca 101 for a moment or two.  The point of casting a circle is mainly to clean a sacred space for yourself to be protected from nasty, not so nice forces of energy.  This is designed for use following aura cleansing and once completed will give you the additional chance to meditate in a safe spiritual environment as well as combine acts of meditation with astral fortification, if you chose.  First, you'll need a small amount of salt, sand or dirt....a small dish of water...a candle (preferably white or black)...some incense...and finally, a compass to determine which direction is North.  Determine your sacred area of choice and roughly imagine the shape of a circle to surround it.    To the North of the circle, place the element of earth (the salt/sand/dirt).  To the south place the candle (fire) but do not light it.  To the West (water) place the dish of water.  And to the East place the incense (air), but do not light it.  Stand in the center of the circle facing East and take some deep breaths until you are calm and focused on the task at hand only.  Ask in your own words that  nature, your deity of choice or the world in general offers you protection from the East, purified by the element of air.  Light the incense and walk around the perimeter of the circle until you reach East again, then put the incense back down on the ground.   Face South and ask again for protection from the south, purified by the element of fire.  Light the candle and walk around the perimeter until you reach south again, and put the candle on the ground.  Face West, ask it for protection purified by the element of water.   Walk around the perimeter splashing little bits of water as you walk, then out the water back at the western location.  Turn North and ask it for protection purified by the element of earth, then walk around the perimeter sprinkling salt/sand/etc as you go.  Return to place it on the ground at North's spot.  Stand in the center of the circle and look above you.   Imagine a symbol that represents power and security for you (a cross, ankh, God figure, whatever applies), and imagine that symbol projected into the air above your head.  Ask it for protection.   Then look below your feet, beyond the floor, and again imagine the symbol of power and ask it for protection.   Turn to the spaces in between each of the four elemental anchors of the circle and for each, imagine the symbol projected into the air and ask for protection.   Finally, imagine the bubble surrounding you and protecting you and state something like "I stand in a sacred space.  No negative forces/energy may enter here."  Thus, your circle is cast.

-Astral Fortification: This is a method designed for slightly more advanced students learning about prana.   It should be performed as an extension to astral cleansing and meditation, so if you don't know how to do either of these things, learn how under the descriptions above and below.  To create a psychic shield for yourself, first you must lead yourself into a state of meditative repose, to the point described under the meditation section of "Part IV: How to perceive energy" as separation between body and spirit and then allowing the light to fill you.   Once you are at that level of meditative state, astrally fortifying yourself is fairly simple.  Repeat a mantra silently to yourself along the lines of "I am protected from all psychic harm" and visualize astral spikes forming upon your aura.   When the spikes cover your aura entirely, say that the spikes will keep out harm at all time.  Take some deep breaths, then more forcefully to yourself say that the spikes will appear under any astral attack.  Release the glowing ball of light as normal and watch your astral spikes "fold down" in waiting.    Reconnect to your sense of self as normal.    In the future this psychic shielding effect should help protect against psychic vampire and other invading astral attacks.   It is a good idea to repeat this rite every once in awhile.

All personality flaws, physical problems, and mental blocks are caused by a blocked emotion, from what I've learned.  So logically, the best way to heal is at the core of the problem.  You can flush fresh kundalini energy over your body daily, and feel better and lighter, but when you stop the cause of the problem is still there, maybe a bit weaker, and would take quite a while to heal that way.
Robert's Core Image Removal technique has been very effective for me.  You find the vague 'area' the problem lies in, then uncover the traumatic memory (fake or real) and allow yourself to feel it all, and it will be gone.
http://www.astralpulse.com/articles/robert/articles_31.htm
His technique is tailored to getting rid of neg's, or false memories that have been implanted, but it can work for any memory.
I guess I've been using the NEW technique before he wrote about it... I would do the usual energy raising, and notice a block.  He advises not to force past them, but I got fustrated and basically started using the core removal technique on any block I found.  My method would be to charge up my 3rd eye and focus intently on the block.. and I'd start getting images.  Some were normal memories I already knew about, some were suppressed, and some were apparently a past life.  Eventually 'seeing' stuff only served my curiosity and merely feeling the emotions at their fullest would be enough to unblock the area.  It seems that all my blocks are from the past whenever I'd suppress an emotion.  Merely feeling the emotion's I'd hid from myself was enough to heal.
At first the intensity was so strong I could only handle it for a second or two, rest, repeat.  Now I've gotten so used to it that I've become a stronger person.
I wouldn't recommend this technique to everyone, and there's definitely more than one way to heal.  But if you're as impatient with improving yourself as I am, it's worth a try.  Anyone else already do this regularly?

A very worthwhile read.  Basically a scientific explanation of how the physical universe is an illusion.

This is something I've always been curious about, and have never gotten a real answer to.  I want to understand Christianity in NewAge terms.
Once I spent my day online asking random religious people to describe a religious experience that gives themselves proof of their religion, much like an OBE can prove a higher reality exists.  Many seemed a bit offended, and all I got was a coincidential "sign" here and there.  One priest described prayer as feeling like a warm blanket was put over him.  I've felt much more from meditation alone.
Once I was watching religious programming, and the host asked for the viewers to picture their heart as barn doors opening to God/Jesus.  I was bored so I tried it, and actually received a strong energy - but it felt like random energies, positive and negative, being blasted at me.  As if god was a collective unconscious idea we project our emotions to.  I asked someone about this and they were just confused, aparently never having felt energy themselves.
So, having noticed there are members here that are able to mix Christianity and a bit of NewAge philosophy into their lives, I ask, what experiences have you had, and what did you learn from them?  Please exclude the expected "I saw Jesus in a dream/AP" because there is no real way to know it was not a higher spirit trying to make the viewer more comfortable.  What does it mean to be reborn, in a nonphysical sense?  Does anyone talk telepathically to god/jesus?  Can you actually be "given strength, etc" or is it only a mental conception?  If you've been given "signs" and such, how do you know it is the Christian God?

Welcome to Dreams! / Dreaming in the Dark
October 20, 2002, 20:47:56
My coworker and I were discussing dreams one day, and she realized for the first time in all her life that it's not normal to always dream without daylight.  Every dream she can remember takes place at night.  Dream rooms are well lit, but whenever she's outside, even walking in the park, it's nighttime.  Scenarios that are supposed to take place in the daytime happen at night.  It's been this way for her ever since childhood.
I've researched dreams for years but I've never heard of this problem.
She claims she hasn't had any traumatic experiences in her life, night has no special meaning to her, and she has no clue as to why this happens.  It became so common for her she assumed everyone had nighttime dreams.
Does this ring a bell with anyone, or have a guess at the cause?

If you're a skeptic, and a friend claims they went to the astral (somewhere you cant prove exists), you won't believe them.  But, if two trusted friends went to the astral and met, reporting the exact same experience, that's something to think about.
If one person has a gut feeling the world will end in 3 years, that's one thing.  But, many...?
My point is, if it is to end, it's reasonable to assume our intuitions will come to a vague agreement on when.
Instead of replying with Revelations quotes, reply only with your pure gut feeling of when, or if, you think the world may end.
When I say end, I mean go through a drastic change.  Not like a meteor hitting and a third of the population surviving, but either death to all, or a grand ascention where we're all forced to rise in vibration all at once.
Nostradamos predicted the end would be 1999.  Mayans thought 1212.  Bible predicts other things must come first.  The future is subject to change, so the farther back the prediction, the less accurate.  Making today's generation the most accurate.
My intuition tells me it will end, in the form of an ascention, very soon - like a year or two.  It's very possible I'm sensing my own end, and like the idea of taking everyone with me better than abandoning anyone.  But if many agree, then maybe I'm right.
A good friend of mine expects it to end within 10 years.
Many people, especially Christians since they're open to the idea, feel it will end within their lifetime.
Even if it doesn't end spiritually, it's very likely we'll kill ourselves off with pollution, starvation, or nuclear war within the next 100 years.
Reply with your gut feelings on the issue, not ancient predictions from the past.

If that particular astral landscape hadn't faded yet, and you managed to reach it instead of creating a new one maybe due to being in a different mood, the umbrella should be there.

Spirits are only stuck because they don't realize they could leave anytime, or don't want to.  Like we need to build energy to see clearly in OBE form, they need to steal it to 'stay' near the physical realm.  It'd be interesting to get his name and prove it's all real to yourself, but that's all he's good for.
Many are confused and mentally call out for someone to help them figure things out.  It's possible the main spirit has something to do with collecting the rest, or you're subconsciously calling out that you're willing to help, and I'm pretty sure most of the crowd did come from the club.
I'm able to talk to them without leaving the body, and knowing something's there of course discourages me from trying, so it gets annoying.  It seemed strange that I'd have someone new to 'help' every night and wondered where they all came from.  Turns out I'm being of extremely great service in the spiritual world since earthbound spirits won't listen to anyone But the living.  So, my guides had been actively sending them to me.  It wasn't until I argued that it was interfering with my awake life that they stopped coming.  And not completely.
This may be what's going on with you too.  The next time you're out, try to contact a higher spirit.  Or just mentally yell out to everyone that can hear that you don't want to be of service anymore, or for now.  See if things change.
Or the long way... 'help' them.  Manifest things in midair through daydreaming or in OBE and teach them they can do the same, ask them to remember/envision their closest dead relative, or actually ascend with them.  I've only done the latter once, in OBE, and it was an interesting experience.. I only ascended to the astral and another more caring spirit took him from there.  Just saw white then woke up so it wasn't visually interesting, but I sensed a 'thank you' later on.  Also, you'll find your natural energy level will rise a bit once they're gone.
Good luck!

On that site is a picture you stare at a certain way to heighten awareness.  I've always noticed increased clarity in hypnogogic/other imagery afterwards.
Also, any visualization involving putting energy or awareness to your third eye will do the same.
Your problem is one of two... you're focusing the wrong way, or the imagery is there but too dim to notice.
It's hard to explain, but when I'm in that state I just see the random images; If I want to start up a dream, it seems like I need to adjust focus first, and I no longer see the imagery and instead see my creation only.  Maybe you're in the creation mode and need a less aware, more nonchalant mental state to see them.

Many claim to be able to talk directly with the 'holy spirit'.  Supposedly some can technically start a true channeling session and start "speaking in tongues" in a language they don't know themselves.  I guess the idea in church is, there's only one jesus, but the holy spirit is out there everywhere for us to connect to.  My friend's uncle can talk directly and even does exorcisms; can't wait to talk to this guy.  I tried to contact it once.  Seems like I had to fake sincerity before anything would respond (same for the barn doors).  Who knows if I contacted the real thing, but an entity did come to be and acted compassionate.  It didn't like my strange questions and refused to talk with me afterwards :)  Seems it's a 'believers only' thing, which makes sense if it's believers that keeps it going.
Good point about channeling in general.  Someone on the prophecy forum noted that most Americans have this looming 'feeling' the world will end soon, while Europeans don't know what they're talking about.  Anything we channel could be from a book written thousands of years ago.
Someone said once how to distinguish between a lying spirit and a guide - look in their eyes.  A dark spirit will shy away while a true one will boldy look back with compassion.  Perhaps that works for alive vs imagined spirits too.
While on the topic, we make a thought form of ourselves.  The ego forms an idea of who we are based on facts and college degrees and horoscopes.  It's possible this thought form lives on for a while till it fades, producing ghosts that have no essence but simply repeat what they did most or what traumatized them.  Also, maybe they can be talked to, and give programmed responses.
John Edwards on Crossing Over may have a way of communicating with thought forms, which produce real facts and memories while the real spirit is off elsewhere on a higher plane.

"Sadly my excitement and ambition in trying for an OBE died off some after this, and I've been more interested in the astral."
OBE's are not sad, it is sad to me that I lost my devotion for trying to have one.  I'd love to have more, but I procrastinate so bad!  (Almost every time I had one, I raised energy daily for a week).  There's a deeper story though, I think in trying to do self-healing I surfaced a fear, I think neg-related.  So going straight to the astral is "safer."  The fear was probably always there, but overriden by my joy in trying.  And now my life is so busy I need all the deep sleep I can get. :(

Actually, we do agree :)
I just meant that since there were so many accounts of a person named Jesus, there probably was one.  So all I actually believe in that regard is that a person named Jesus existed around that time, he may not even be human, who knows.  But there's definitely more than one of em by now.  Jesus's fighting.. lol, great thought.
One day I was bored and watching a childish religious show, and it said to visualize your heart as barn doors opening to jesus.  I was Very bored, and did so, and actually felt something - random energy was poured into me.  Some positive, some negative.  I got the strong impression the energy was collectively sent to some dead end, and I connected with it.
I think many people's concept of god is something close to home, like a father image or dead grandfather spirit watching over them.. not something like you describe, way beyond and above that level.  I too think the central god is many many levels away and maybe 1% or less of us actually have that image in our heads when we say god.  I believe there are sub-gods closer to home, but I don't think many connect with those either.  I pondered about what would happen if I actively connected to these energy pools and drained them... would many people lose their feeling of connection to their god?  And would that be mean or healthy? :)

Speaking of God...
Wouldn't it be interesting if most of our religions are self-created?  1/3rd of the world is Christian.  I'm sure a real Jesus exists somewhere up there, as well as a true god, but what if each sect that paints a different picture of him actually creates him?  If it's true that a few year's worth of energy and imagination of the masses can create a Middle Earth, then what about a concept people have not only thought of but have been pouring their hearts out to for centuries?  Some sects worship a scary vengeful god that will smite them if they fall out of line, some a peaceful loving god.  Since we've never physically met god, there must be hundreds of different idea-gods, and maybe with enough energy can become somewhat sentient?
There's a really neat computer game based on that idea called Black & White.  In the intro sequence, there is a small human tribe with no gods.  A child starts drowning and there is no time to save him, so the parents and onlookers pray with all there hearts for someone or something to help them.  Their thoughts do create a god, who saves the kid, reafirming their belief in their new god.  The idea of the game is to keep the tribe believing in you, which generates energy for miracles.  You can choose to throw them around and set fires.. really effective and gets strong belief, but, you're killing off your villagers :)  The idea is to build up a tribe and conquer a neighboring tribe with their own god, and either kill them or win them over.
Really makes you wonder about all those Roman myths.  Thoughts?

Good question.  I still haven't settled on where exactly dreams take place.  But I wouldn't say a lucid dream and astral projection are the same thing.  This is my scale to determine where I'm at:
Lucid: fully conscious, "feel" I'm dreaming and the world is fake.
Astral:  fully conscious, "feel" more real than reality
RT Projection:  fully conscious, "feel" like I'm really 'there'.. almost exactly the same as being awake except I feel lighter and think more spontaneously
In all three, I can control myself fully.  In a lucid, sometimes, I can create things consciously, but feel resistance (But in a WILD I have absolute control, but much less real).  In the astral I once created something by accident from a thought alone.  Haven't tried altering the environment.  In RTP, I cannot change the environment, but I can move through it.  But again, I never put serious effort into it.

I only have one experience that can shed some light on the question.  Once I was dreaming, then became lucid.  I got bored of the dream and it dissipated and all i saw was black static.  Then I felt a falling sensation and was then on the floor of my living room next to the kitchen, OBE :)  All other times I've woken up from a dream first, did not move, and was in a great state for OBE without all that preparation.  When in the astral, you could not go to your room unless you freshly created one.  Your room and body exist at a lower vibration.  If in the RTZ, then yes.  I've gone from full OBE to full AP, so yes it's possible.  Haven't tried the other direction yet, but I don't see why I couldn't.  In theory it would be easy to go from OBE back into dream state, but I would never want to try :)

Check out the post on Proof.
Let's say OBE really is a self created illusion.  Well, once accepted, it would be of great use to Psychology to understanding how our minds work, and maybe someday they'll make a pill that can force us into this state safely.  If normal awake state is a Beta frequency, I wonder what astral and above would be?
With my first OBE I lost my fear of death.  I still doubted, but the inner fear was gone.
I'm to the point where I can say I "know" it's true and spiritual, but only because of experiences I've had myself.  It's impossible to really prove it to another without pulling them out with you.
If true - yes, it clearly points to a new world of spiritual reality.  I don't think you can be truly enlightened and still believe this is all there is.  You can OBE to a real place and confirm it, then realize you don't need your physical body to exist.  Then you OBE to the astral plane, and realize you don't even need a physical world.  I suppose this would continue up to full enlightenment, realizing you are pure consciousness and everything is an illusionary representation of yourself.
I think it's really interesting how something can go from simple curiosity to forming a spiritual path.  I only started trying for OBE's because of how cool it'd be to meet my online friends without paying for a plane ticket... I had no idea it meant anything spiritually.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Proof
February 06, 2004, 00:56:47
I'm very surprised so many don't care for proof... hard evidence was my main goal for years.  I want to KNOW my experiences are real, because if they're not, they're almost a waste.  They may teach spiritual lessons, but what good is that if there is no spirit world and it's all in my head?  That old song "I'm dreaming my life away" bugged me enough to drive me to find proof.
I was very lucky to get proof on my first OBE.  I 'fell' out of dream state into my kitchen.  I noticed my puzzle set was still sprawled out, and picked up a piece, noting the insanely real texture and appearance.  I looked up to the window, and the trees were black(backlit) and leafless against a dark blue sky.  My dad coughed and it woke me up, so I immediately went to check.  The view out the window was exact, this was right after sunset when the colors change every few minutes, and in January.  But - the puzzle had been put away two weeks ago.
Everything I've ever read says when you OBE to real time, it's not quite the physical plane.  Matter radiates etheric energy and this is all we can percieve.  The puzzle had been left out a long time, and I'd put many hours of mental effort into it.  Add this to Bruce's theory of the brain making sense of two data streams (dreaming mind and OBE mind) by mixing them into one, making dream imagery mesh with your genuine experience, and it explains times when you talk to people with no memory of it or things are off.
That experience felt 100% real and I had a strong dose of personal proof from the window, but even then I doubted.  It could still have been coincidence.  So I kept trying, and have had much success-
If all you want is proof that you're not imagining things, try for remote viewing instead.  It's much quicker, less effort, and still gains solid evidence.
The best evidence is when you see a place you know for a fact you've never been.  Old memories of your back yard, or knowing someone so well you can accurately predict what they're doing, discount proof.  I went online all the time on chats, where people are shy about giving out too much personal information, you can connect to who they are well, and I've never even been in the state that they're in.
-I RV'd my online friend at a pool party, sitting on the edge quietly, then leaving to a small room.  I also saw a short, blonde, spiky hair'ed guy from above.  All confirmed, as well as the time of the event.
-I RV'd the same guy and saw a still image of what I thought was him, blurry, at the bottom of some stairs wearing a tshirt and shorts of certain colors (its been a few years).  Online he said that's not even near what he's wearing and we discounted it.  The next morning he saw his dad come down the stairs wearing exactly that.
-I saw a room with blue carpet in Canada, confirmed.
-While dozing off on the couch and thinking about another Canadian, I vividly saw a small 4way stop intersection with a silver car turning right, and it had it's lights on in the daytime.  Confirmed, and I learned some cars have that feature built in...
Up until now, it's remotely possible that these people all happened to lie and confirm to appease me.  But then I had another experience:
I was half awake in bed and felt a presence by my bedside.  He touched my left cheek, and I went into a created dream after that.  A week later when he was back from vacation, he told me of his dream, on the same day: I was in my room in my chair, with a tear on my left cheek that he wiped off.  The room was fuzzy but his description was mostly correct.  The desk was between two doors, I had a 'tv moniter' behind me (comp screen), and he said I had a mirror to my left and a window to my right.  The truth is reversed, but later he showed me a digital pic that happened to include a picture of his window.  It had moulding around it similar to my mirror, and my window has none.  And, I'd been in sad mood thinking of him at that moment.

As if that wasn't enough... this next one just sold me.  I never doubted after this one.  I met a shy guy in Washington state from an old OBE board.  He only told me his first name and state, and that he was not near the beach.  From talking I knew he had a dog and often said he's going 'out to the deck' in his backyard.  We tried testing telepathy with a very poor success rate and always agreed to try meeting for proof.
After trying for quite a while, I was finally obe, AND remembered to try to see him.  I thought 'washington' and focused on my idea of him.  I felt fast movement and the imagery was a little dreamlike but I felt like I was following the Western coast, then I shot up high and looked down at what really looked like a satellite image of the Washington Penninsula, mostly green with little white specks for building clusters.  I focused again on my idea of him, turned East, and visualized a line going straight to him.  I zoomed down and eastward until I was over a clearing in the trees.  I saw a swimming pool but it morphed away as I focused on the house and landed.  I was in a clearing with patchy grass surrounded by tall pine trees.  The wooden deck was just a deck now.  The house had a single, small window facing the deck.  There was a bluish grey truck parked on the grass, and I went over to look in.  In the cabin was something green, indiscernable.  I felt like I was about to wake up, and as I did I saw a shot of the front yard's driveway with an old red fourdoor car in it.  I immediately wrote down all the facts so my memory could not warp them later.  When I talked to him online, he was shocked and confirmed everything - backyard faces west, one small window, truck and color, and the red car was rare - a relative's, visiting the day before xmas.  His dad, at that time, was asleep in his truck, wearing a green sweater.  There was no pool and I may have been off on the roof color, but the deck was the only thing I was 'expecting' to find, and "pool deck" is a more common use for a deck.

Sadly my excitement and ambition in trying for an OBE died off some after this, and I've been more interested in the astral.  The few times I've made it, it felt just a bit more 'real' than this 'reality'.  Problem is, unless I meet a fellow OBE'er or relative with secrets there, I see no possible way to prove it.  But at least now I don't have to.  I'll resort to assuming that if experience A feels just like reality and is confirmed, then experience B that feels even more real must too be real.

In proving things to other people, trust is the key issue.  I first have to trust that the people confirming things to me are truthful, then you have to trust that I am.  Even if there was a scientific study and it was proven, you could say the scientists themselves are faking.  I don't think it is, but the Crossing Over show could be an organized hoax.  If I never had my own experience, I think the only one I'd trust would be if someone finally wins that million dollar challenge in Australia :)  I think no one's won yet because they expect a 100% reliability rating.

I've had many dreams where I look at a clock or book and the characters go all crazy.  I wouldn't bother with a number test.  One time I did try, and I got 7 different possible combinations.  Again the problem would be the card is a new object, and would take time to form a copy in the etheric.  I think my brother still has a bunk bed in the etheric.  Would a description of the more solid objects in your room be enough?  And is there any way the experiement could be repeated for further cash?  Imagine making a salary out of OBEing.. there's your practical application!  heheh.

Wow, that's the first time I heard of that.  I guess I believe so firmly that I must be asleep or at least laying down that I make it so.  I've felt like I 'could go' while sitting but I felt uneasy and ignored it.
Interesting dream.  Reminds me of an abduction story I heard on Sightings where a woman was led by the aliens to a nursery full of hybrid babies, given one to hold, and was instructed to give it love, as if they could not.
#20
In my experience, it is possible.  I was willing every time it happened though, so I don't believe anyone can Force you out of your body.  Although I'm sure they can try.  My guide would politely touch or tickle my feet to get my attention, then I'd feel hands on my ankles and black out for a second and I'd be out.
I think what really happens is the other entity gets you to be Aware of your astral body by pulling on it, and sometimes awareness alone is enough.
The blunt forward attitude of the girl makes it sound like a friend found you while dreaming, and may or may not have meant to get you to OBE.
#21
In Robert Bruce's book, he explains this by saying we're dreaming and OBEing at the same time.  Upon re-entry, your brain tries to make sense of this by meshing the two memories.
Another thing is you might be seeing their astral bodies instead of their real ones.  Your dad may have felt like he was face down while dreaming when his real body was on its back.
Probably a combination of both, but as long as it all felt real and you were in full conscious control, it qualifies as an OBE.
#22
Seems like any subtle change to our mind/brain will induce an OBE or similar state.
Trance, dance, meditation, drugs, trauma, and being near death.
Must be a delicate balance to keep us here.

Remember how in NEW, when you come across an area of your body with resistance, you're supposed to go around it and ignore?  Well I ignored that and spent much time forcing energy thorugh the blocks.  Then I happened upon the idea of building energy in my 3rd eye and connecting it to the block, and, it worked.  Actually started remembering stuff from my childhood.  Then I came upon a particularly large block, and saw myself commiting suicide.  So you know that can't be a childhood memory.  Once I have a memory clip, I can just ponder on it and try to stretch it forward and rewind like trying to recall a dream.
If you want to remember the good times too, you can always remote view to the akashic.  OBE is not the only way to get higher information.  It's much much easier, but because it isn't as real and crisp as an OBE it's easy to doubt.

I thought I'd give it a try...
I only read one of the three pages of posts so I could have less expectation tainting what I see.
I saw her on the steps to a small house in the woods smoking.  I could not get any sense of where she was, other than the feeling of a river to the East of her, not in sight.  There were two men with guns keeping watch, and later one started having his way with her.  I asked for the reason behind this and got that she needs to build inner strength.  I spread my awareness and found no one for miles.
Now that I've read further, I think this was her in the astral, reliving the experience.  The men did not feel like real people.  And a nonphysical location would explain why I couldn't pin a location.  When she learns to fight back, she will move on from this experience.

That's very interesting that the police accepted input from a remote viewer.  My impression from TV is if you have insider information, you must have done it.  Glad to know reality is more open minded.

A few nights ago the same thing happened to me.  I was in a lucid dream enjoying myself, observing a vivid flower I crossed by (went to a hobby store earlier in the week...) and touched it to see how real the texture would feel.  It was then that I was floating, still pinching the flower, with my feet stretched out behind me.  I felt a gentle tug and hands at my ankles, realized what it was and let go, the dream vanished and I was in blackness, about to OBE, then I got a big jolt of fear from the thought of it and woke up.  The fear was completely unrelated to the hands.
It's been a while, but sometimes in the past my guides would tug at my feet as a signal that they're ready to take me somewhere.  It's never threatening but it can catch you off guard the first time.
It wouldn't make sense for a neg to try to pull you out, since you're much stronger and aware in that state.
