I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me. I was meditating, (on my birthday, which may or may not be irrelevant), and a symbol appeared. It was a cross with a spiraltwined around the body and one arm. I hold this symbol very dear to me now, and enjoy drawing it, displaying it etc. but other than that I don't know what to do with it. Can anyone explain what I can do with such a symbol or why it appeared. Also, is there anywhere I can read about what these elements (i.e. the cross and the spiral) may mean symbolically. I'm not a Christian, but the corss does look very much like a crucifix.

I have been using the NEW system for a week now, trying to develop my energy body as much as I can. Don't ask how I have come to this conclusion - gut feeling I guess, but I feel that it's a possibility that the new openings in my energy body are making me susceptible to psychic attack from a friend. She often tells me she is jealous of me, but it's not flattering, it makes me feel icky. She is quite unhappy with her life and envious of mine. I have started feeling resentment towards her for no particular reason, and I want to avoid her, even though I haven't seen her much lately. I also feel quite irritable and not myself.
Is it possible that someone else's jealousy could effect me in this way, due to developing my energy body? If so, are there ways I can protect myself?

Don't know if I'm talking about the same thing, but what I experience is part of the reason I'm waiting for astral dynamics in the mail...I think it's strobing.
When I lie awake at night and begin to talk to higher forces, or raise energy, or attempt to connect to higher realms etc. I get this flash of white/silver light around my third eye area. I take it as some kind of sign that I am connecting higher, but that's just my interpretation. I'm dying to find out what it really means.  Is this what you experience?
